- FAST! Autobahn acceleration run & Launch Control with the 503 hp & 770 Nm 2020 BMW M340i optimized by FF Retrofittings from Germany (total weight: 1830 kg). Had a lot of discussions already if this is really 500hp fast but considering what the stock car does and what other "tuning companies" have achieved with the M340i so far this one hast some serious performance! I mean its faster than a pre-OPF M4 Competition which hast only RWD and is about 300 kg lighter! Everything fells rock solid and like BMW had developed it this way....and on top of that everything is 100% street legal in Germany:) What are your thoughts? @@mrmotionman69 Stock I was doing around 10.7-8 when I had it all figured out. I"m serious, get a JB+ and set it at 4 o'clock position, and run E30... boom! 8.62! That's all! I have a new m240i and wow this thing is even quicker. 0 - 60 stock in 3.6 sec (xdrive).

Auto Motor Sport kritisiert die Anzeigen ja quasi in jedem einzelnen BMW-Test, also irgendwas ist da sicher komisch beim Fahren... Ich sehe das Problem nicht in dem sehr ungünstigen Layout der Elemente, sondern in der Tatsache, dass man scheinbar keine Alternativen zum Wechseln hat. Der M3 und M4 haben nun ja aber auch eine große Mittelanzeige, vielleicht bekommt das Modelljahr 2021 des 340i die Anzeige ja auch.
Don Janek klar ist die Abordnung ziemlich komisch da es Nichtmehr Rund ist aber glaub mir nach der zweiten Fahrt schaust du nurnoch aufs headup

Hi there! Why is The wheel size a factor in regards to the acceleration stats?
Fliehkräfte. Größere Felge = höheres Gewicht und eine höhere Hebelwirkung aufgrund des höheren Radius vom Felgenmittelpunkt, demnach brauchen sie mehr Energie um in Drehbewegung gebracht zu werden. Ich bin kein Physiker und kann demnach keine Mathematischen Formeln aufführen, aber das sind die einzigen Faktoren soweit die mir einfallen..

Danke Grauekraft! Genauso isset. Zusätzlich sind die größeren Felgen auch manchmal noch mit breiteren Reifen ausgestattet. Das erhöht den Rollwiderstand und den Luftwiderstand. Deswegen haben viele E-Autos ja diese schmalen „Trennscheiben“ drauf😅

Appreciate the measurements, but not sure why you do a separate 0-200 and a 100-200 kph? Logically, the 100-200 is the same as the 0-200 minus the 0-100 kph, or am I missing something?

That depends on the car. With some cars your fastest 100-200 time will come out of the 0-200 run, other cars (as this one) have a faster 100-200 time if you do a rolling start. We‘ve decided to show you both to best judge the car👍

@@Phantom-vn3nz Its 470bhp. Everyone that does this tuning to the M340i gets 470bhp. The car has the same performance as all the remapped M340i on UA-cam. They don't have 500bhp they aren't fast enough. Its just tuners talking shit.

The B58 engine is highly tunable. Plus all those guys saying its not 500bhp have to remember how much it weighs (a lot)

Ich denke auch nicht, dass die Kiste ü500Ps hat. 450-470 halte ich für realistisch. Und dafür ist die Zeit gut. Man muss bedenken, der 3er wiegt 1800kg leer. Mit Tank, Fahrer und einiges an Sonderausstattung kommt man schon an die 2t-Marke. Somit kann mam da nicht meckern.
I’m surprised it’s not faster with the claimed power output. My stage 2 S3 has 400hp/400ft lbs (550nm), yet I run consistent 3.5 sec 0-100, and 7.3 100-200. Weird that this 340 isn’t even close. Could it be the transmission? Is it a dual clutch in the 340 or tq converter auto?

The 0-100 should be low 3s and 100-200 in the low- mid 8s with 500 bhp.
But not with a MY2020 3-series...haven’t seen any faster car in this league and modelyear yet🤔

@@tortue1500 I have a stage 1+ C43 estate with 469 bhp . 0-100 is 3.7 , 0-200 is 13.5. Times confirmed with dragy . Thats why I said that.
Only to much weight, x drive and 20' wheels. My 240 does 7.9 with the same power.
Okay, but that means also that your 100-200 time is probably 0.5-1.0 sec. slower than this 500 hp car with similar weight...making sense because that 30 hp make the difference. Is your car with OPF MY19 or 20?🤔

Never compare a M340i with a Porsche GTS 4.0😜....compare numbers to a stock M340i. You could also argue that that one isn‘t fast for 380 hp😉...but again, if you see that this is slightly faster than a previous gen M3/M4 I think everything is just fine🤩

I think this is fast but m3 or m4 will be faster because they are rwd and this is xdrive so it has more power loss

11.5 100 to 200? A 911 carrera 4 does 10.6 with 385 hp lmao. A tuned carrera 4 to 500hp does 7.5 lol
