Woman is home alone at night with her bedroom door locked, somone knocks on her bedroom door, she casually opens, sees nothing and closes and locks the door, looks away and the door mysteriously is open, then goes to sleep like nothing happens. It´s not scary, just stupid.
This is terrifying and she couldn't see what was stalking her the entire time. That's why it's so mysterious. 👀 It's definitely creepy and then the ending...ahhhh!!!! 😱 Great work!
I love the camera work. Not just in those long shots while moving through the house, but especially in the perspective changes. Moving the camera up and down, while in the car for example. Keeps the tension going so you never know what's gonna happen. I also love that it's a film with no dialogue, so it brings your attention to other things. Subtlety is so underutilized in horror films, but you showed exactly why it's effective. Fantastic work from all involved. I hope to see more!
Who parks 8 city blocks from where they work, doesn't lock their homes front door even after they get home & leaves the lights on all day when they're away? -That girl.
I was shocked that she didn’t lock the door to the outside. As for walking 8 blocks……maybe she can’t afford good parking……but yet has house with many light switches
The sound design was great. The noise stopping as soon as she closes the door behind her, only to slowly come back was a great choice. Also the way it was shot, the camera following her walking around gave it a video game vibe, which I don't know if it was intentional, but I very much liked it and it fitted the topic!
Thank you for sharing this! Some random thoughts.... ● Actress: Cute, sexy, kinda unique looking....enjoyable and believable in the role. I wonder what her (the character's) job is. ● Filming: Excellent ● Why is her car door unlocked...maybe I missed the DJWEEP.... ● Why, besides for dramatic effect , does she keep taking her eyes off the strange figure signaling her in a dark parking lot... ● Why is she driving a white Nissan sedan instead of an AWESOME red 1970 Firebird.... ● Why doesn't she turn a deadbolt lock at her door after she enters her house, especially as she's supposed to be at least a little nervous about someone following her....it doesn't seem like she even locked it. ● Why is her bedroom lamp on already when she gets home. Maybe it's on a timer, perhaps, although she doesn't seem like the Radio Shack type. ● if one doesn't have roommates, and someone knocks twice from the other side of the BEDROOM door, who doesn't yell WTF!! at that point! Who just goes to bed? I would grab any kind of defensive weapon, even a pillow and go through every room of the house, and turn on every light, maybe while calling 911! ● Actually, she seems mostly calm, unruffled, unperturbed about all this. Maybe she's quite aware of the shadow creature! Maybe it's her pet....or little brother, making her a shadow creature too. Maybe, after that final shot of it reaching for her, she'd say "Hey! Get back in your closet!" Anyway, great job, fun to watch! 👍
Very cool. It’s really impressive to have some of those long takes moving through an actual set while also having some pretty striking lighting. Also some very creepy visuals with a pretty kick ass music stings.

For short horror movies these are brilliant. If I was to pick out one area of inconsistency, it would be that in a lot of these short stories, the creepos SOMEHOW get inside a evidently locked premises without any conceivable way they could other than supernaturally. I like movies/shows etc to be as plausible as possible because it makes them more believable. Apart from that though, they ARE quite believable because the situations are very ordinary up to the point where those creepy figures start manifesting. Thanks.
Who knows what victims are out there? The SHADOW knows!!!!!😮 And he also knows what happens to young women who don't finish brushing their teeth before bed!!!😮
A very very slow burn. the character had to do everything most normal people wouldn't do just to push this story along. Your best scene was at 2:50. After that it fell flat and was the typical Cliché scare tactics. The Shadow needed more of a buildup than it was given. Better writing

I filmed this short film on my phone. Reading the messages are not hard. I should know, because I could read them as I was recording, on the phone I was filming on. Maybe your internet connection was weak?
