It's not cabbage used, though you could use. It's Japanese radish, which is white & can be eaten raw. The brown sauce is either soy, teriyaki or hoisin, along with mayo. Any could be used. Just like any kind of cheese or even honey mustard can be used.
Daikon Radish is so good. I love the pickled carrots and daikon that are served at our local Vietnamese restaurant.
What's the liquid added at 3:51... Looks like gee or honey?
Wtf UA-cam I'm literally starving and then you recommended me this 💀

I thought my way of mass producing good ass grilled cheese was good, but this is on a level on where I would... borrow this idea
I used to work at Sonic Drive-in, a fast food restaurant in the US. We would run two slices of bread through the bun toaster (buttered/oiled on one side) and when they came out throw 3 slices of cheese on the grill. Pick up the melted cheese with the bread, assemble, and done.
@@jeremysullivan365 nice!
aww they have bread-sized paper bags... that's so cute... and there's so much sauce...
Koreans love to mix cabbage into their fried eggs
I have to try it Mmm 😋
idk I don’t like omelette as a sandwich, fried egg for me
I imagine it gives it a bit of a crunchy texture, must be nice though as it seems to be in everything
I learned that cabbage helps digest fried foods easier. So it’s really smart eating. That’s why a lot of fried foods in Japan are served with cabbage
@@CreativeCreatorCreates agree , cabbages r in my fridge all year! love them : )

This along with Grilled Cheese, Patty Melts, Philly Cheese Steaks, Peanut Butter And Jelly, Italian Beef, French Dip, Roast Beef, And Angus Beef are some of the best sandwiches of all times
Reuben’s are good too
Bologna and cheese with mustard.
@@afx935 i prefer ham over bologna.
Grilled peanut butter and jelly now that is some good stuff! Especially with strawberry jam! Grilled in lots and lots of butter. One bite and all the melted goodness start oozing out. Comfort food. I didn't think many people preferred it that way.
Crunchy peanut butter and raspberry jam (jelly to Americans) on toasted multigrain is to die for.
I just like how he made sure the untoasted bread caught up with the toasted bread
It's not toast its fried bread.
It is knowing where the hot spots on the griddle are.
But the bacon is not cooked! I don't know if you ever had parasites from uncooked pork but I think twice about eating that sandwich it sure look good right up until then
@@Bootzzgvgs the bacon is not burned but is cooked. Something that thin is cooked in 30 seconds in a pan , that is the correct way to do it and not burned the bacon
@@Pribe13 I appreciate your reply, but I am a chef. I ran a short order restaurant for five years before I became a chef. No doubt that bacon especially in the back is raw. Bacon does not have to be burned and crispy. But that bacon was pink. The way he was moving the toast around the he should have pulled the bacon from the back to the front and put the bacon in the front to the back. The bacon in the front was almost cooked. Before I replied I made sure I went back and watch the video and thought maybe I missed something. I could care less I would not eat it personally
6:08 I heard someone say something like "You gotta go with it Kelly" 😂😂

This is a Korean, artisanal Breakfast Jack. Adding cabbage in the egg mixture as a vegetable to the sandwich is amazing!

Im going to make a grilled cheese tonight! Thank you UA-cam!

From the looks of it, it's Eggs, Bacon, Cheese and Cabbage(?). A white vegetable at any rate. Onion would probably go well. I wonder what the sauces were?
@@JohnJ469 there is a possibility it was a vinegar of some kind but im not so sure about that
@@mioszd3168 Sounds like a good reason to experiment. :)

If this could be done at a grander, faster scale.
This is exactly what the food truck public wants
It could be, the bacon could be precooked, or three-quarters of the way precooked. He could just throw it on the flat top with each individual order and put a weight on it. The eggs can be already be beaten and put under a refrigerated system with a 3 oz or whatever portion scoop. It's easy to just drop the cheese in the bowl. It's easy to have someone drop the bread down while you're preparing it's a whole science it's not a hard thing. It's called short order cooking, people do it everyday. If the truck has a nice-sized flat top they can make many different sandwiches. If the person knows what they're doing and they are a good short-order chef it take tops 3 to 5 minutes depending on what sandwiches are being made. I apologize if anyone read my comment prior to editing. Someone liked my reply, I was forced to read it back and some of the words are kind of off the hook LOL. I'm glad you got the general idea. I don't know what people picture when they see these food being made. My chef partner and I put out 350 breakfast sandwiches or omelette plates on Saturday only to come in and repeat it on Sunday while making sandwiches for the boaters to bring on for lunch! It is not glamorous, breakfast rolls right into lunch. It's never under 150 degrees, it's grueling and fast-paced. It was the best job ever !) It's not for everyone.
Can someone tell me what sauces does he/she used? Specially, the brown sauce? 😊
That bacon looking kinda undercooked ngl
It isn't. Pretty much every type of bacon you can buy is smoked. It's not raw by any means.

the most unique part of Korean street food versus other Asian countries is the Korean love of Bread. It's rare to find so many bread related items in Japan or Taiwan, but they are everywhere in Korea.
What is the white fluffy stuff and the sauces? Looks great and like an easy business. Americans would love these sandwiches.
Solid sandwich for the equivalent of $2.50 here in the United States. Is the veggie a radish or a cabbage though? Kinda want to try it myself
Imagine how slippery that stove is
