OK, I'm crying. Horowitz wasn't able to make me cry, it was you who made it.
Makes me want to close my eyes and pretend to be a ballerina and float about, ever so lightly in the air...thanks for sharing!
Or walking among the clouds in hills on a cold wintery morning
The cellist looks like she was trying to fight back tears
This is one of my favorite things ever. Thank you very much for giving such a gentle gift to the world
Yes thank you Robert Schumann. 🎩🫴
I've been listening to it for three days now and i just can't get enough, I'm so in love the way she plays it's as she's playing on the strings of my heart. this is just so beautiful
I'm just literally tearing up here!
The most epic and authentic interpretation of Träumerei! Just the feelings! When my mother died in 2014, this song was played... Can't stop crying to this song :(
Feel the Arms of your mother holding you. I do feel mine
Gentle, poignant, romantic, insightful, peaceful, regretful.
I listen this everyday before going to bed 🛌... It feels like I'm in heaven...😘
I have been searching for this since 1998. I first heard a cello only version on a CD I bought that was lost in a move less than a year later. That long drawn intro has haunted me for 24 years! No more. What a gift, thank you.
Home wonderful memories comeback my childhood, makes me as little boy meekness when I pass this world I like be myself and see lovely 😊 Father in heaven.😇
I love the piano-only version, but with the cello, it seems something different, extremely moving.
Love this video and both players, cellist and assisting pianist. Just a beautiful piece, bringing me back to 1964.
What a beautiful performance. This is what music sounds like...
This music has sadness and turns it into something beautiful. It’s going to be OK♥️
youtube recommended this because I listened to the Piano version of this piece. wow playing this piece on Cello is so beautiful. i am addicted to this piece on both instruments now.
You gave a soul to this composition with your fine touch ... So beauty full.
Just beautiful!

I love your interpretation the most! I can’t believe I was late for four years. It was a such a wonderful performance. Thank you!💕
Thank you both, Anna and Nora, for playing this truly beautiful exceptional piece. Whenever I hear it it literally brings me to tears and draws out of me feelings of the chronic lack of love and peace missing in this world particularly where we see the appalling suffering and deprivation of the Palestinian people in Palestine. This wonderful tune should consciously remind us all that with music like this it can make us all better people, bring out the goodness, civility and kindness towards the most impoverished souls in this cruel world.
Keep it up and let's all hope more viewers tune into this.
You're both shining stars!
Paul Meaney

,an merkt wie aufwendig dieses Musik Video war und es ist wunderbar schade dass es nur so wenig linkes hat denn es sieht aus wie von Profis gespielt und gefilmt 😍😍😍😍😍
One can't help but close eyes and think about some imaginary celestial places! So soothing!
いいねぇ。しっとりゆったりゆったりとゆらゆらと、。貴女の演奏の技量は素晴らしい。我が魂は感動の泉に沈みぬ。

some time ago Stephen Fry met an old Jewish lady who survived the Holocaust because she was a child with talent and Dr Mengele wanted to keep her around because she could sing . One day Mengele called for her and when she came to his quarters he without even talking to her waved his hand at a cello and she understood that she must sing for him . And she sang this piece of music . When she finished he waved her hand at the door to tell her to leave . Fry asked the lady why didn't he even applaud her or thank her for singing , she said to Fry almost laughing : Do you thank your phone or computer for playing a melody or a movie ? To him we were not people . We were not even alive . We were objects witch didn't deserve attention . After hearing this story about a singing of traumerei i cannot listen to it without some ninjas cutting onions around me .
wait what??
I see my children's faces as I listen.
I am now wondering if i listen to a beautiful scene.
I had the pleasure of introducing my 7th graders to Schumann's Traumerei as the featured piece in a story we were reading together titled "The New Piano". And it took. I could play it with one hand with my limited (very) piano skills. I was a much better choral singer. Hee - hee.
OperaBuff1935 Love your comment on this beautiful piece.
