I cant believe they managed it but this was easily the worst episode, She-Hulk buys clothes! Gripping entertainment by anyones opinion I'm sure. But what did you think of She-Hulk or the parts you say in the review? Is this anything more than their visual blog? Let me know your thoughts below and as always, thanks for watching :)
Where is the genderqueer horse and the black rider? Where is the Karen screeching vehemently? Where is the rainbow coloured flag and the crusading banner, And the wamen of many colours raging? They have passed like vultures upon the carcass, Of many a beloved franchise; The days have gone down in the west. The old world burning in the fires of woke industry. Who shall contain the sea of wept tears but, Surf the tides of melancholy nostalgia. Basking in misery unto the breaking of the world.
Can I sue the creators for emotional damages? Or threatening the multiverse? Seriously, it's so goddamn bad I worry that it's an existential threat tearing at the walls of reality. I don't even want any money; I just want all copies of this horror sent back to the Outer Darkness with all of the other Eldritch Horrors that spawned it.
Why would She Hulk need to brand her name is she is not using it to sell anything? Is not that how it works? I mean, at least in the show universe the name is not attached to a brand, I know in the real world she hulk is actually a brand of products, you know what I mean.
I love how Jennifer keeps complaining about incompetent men telling her what to do. Guess what? As an engineer. I get P.O.'d with affirmative action female bosses telling me how to do my job, when they don't have a clue, and couldn't buy one for a million dollars. It works both way, but they don't realize that.
Several times, at various jobs, I jave put down my tools and walked away when this happened. Told them to do it if they know so much. They couldn't. They then went to their bosses. The bosses then tore them new ones. They would then have to ring me( if I went home) Or come onto the floor and publicly apologise to me. Fun times
I mean, the very first episode was her womansplaining that she's better at controlling her anger than Hulk despite having the powers for all of minute.
Chris Gore was right. The first strong and independent woman to actually show up on screen in this show was the lawyer Jen hires to represent her. 😂 She sees through Jens bullshit in just a few seconds and immediately sets boundaries and told her yeah we're not colleagues, you're a client, we're not friends, (I have to clean your s*** up because you f***** up in a career you should know better in) then proceeds to tell her she dresses like a child and that she needs a real outfit if she expects to be taken seriously. 😂
And then they bloody ruin it in the end by having them become "besties". Way to ruin what could've been a good mentor character that could maybe teach Jen to stop being such a self-absorbed narcissistic prick.
Mallory is exactly like this in the comic books too, they really made a really good job with this tiny side character for some reason. Maybe the actress just decided that she'd be the best thing in the show due to her role being so insignificant, and really researched every appearance of the character. Unlike everyone else on the show.
Disparu, I hate to break it to you, but you’re making the scene-by-scene trashing of this show so entertaining that I’m genuinely tempted to start watching it.
Jennifer spent several episodes saying she doesn't like the She-Hulk name and then gets butt-hurt when someone else trademarks it. This show is getting worse.
The writers admit they don't know how to write rousing courtroom scenes. More like they don't know how to write, period. It just goes to show you how lazy these writers are to not even research what real life lawyers go through.
Fun fact about the law, its like a tree with multiple branches. A lawyer that specializes in criminal law may have very limited experience with civil law. I wouldn't hire a divorce lawyer to defend me in a murder case. These people couldn't even be bothered to do even basic research on the legal field.
Think trademark is done by Corporate Lawyers which is a different branch of law entirely as you well say. Of course I don't expect the lunatic writers to know this... but still it's pretty cringe
Oh so you think you can mansplain Jen’s area of expertise do YOU! Well then, what area of law does twerking belong in? If you watched the show than you should know that is the only form Jen knows anything about.
@Renato Mento Not quite, should could easily have proven prior use. All you have to do for that is show that you've used the name publicly to represent something. Its very easy to do. Note that its not proving that you own it or that you're the only person using it - you just have to prove that you are in fact using it.
@@Me__Myself__and__I actually if they had a brain they would have used the contract she signed when entering the new law firm is a binding document that pre-existed the brand, and funny thing she was hired as SHe-Hulk not Jennifer for the super hero division, if you remember they told her they hired her for her green persona, so the contract would have the name or at least something similar, unless she didnt singed a contract, but that would mean she is the worst lawyer in the state and only got her degree because her cousin helped behind the scenes
@@marioalejandrosanchezcarra6336 The firm would have made her sign a contract, so yes excellent point. Her employment is in fact prior-use of her She Hulk brand. But sadly the writers are clueless and incompetent so they would never have figured that out.
I hear this "you/I deserve better" line, coming from women all the time! And more often than not, the question which pops into my head, is why? What makes you automatically deserve better? Because the vast majority of the people who think this, have never done anything for anyone but themselves!
"You deserve better" translation: "I disapprove of this person so I'm going to passive aggressively undermine your happiness to get you away from this person!"
Being 6'7" tall and super strong are traits women look for in men, but not traits men look for in women. Once again, this is a show about a woman trying to be a man. And also somehow hating all men because reasons.
Normally as a woman I only say that when a person is being genuinely scummy but. Yeah I don’t know why girls constantly tell each other they “deserve better” when they aren’t doing anything to get anything better
The one thing that truly shafted this series was the Johhny Depp trial. Suddenly, just prior to this series debuting, people around the world were watching an actual trial on a daily basis and following every small legal procedure. Then they drop this show and the writers honestly thought they could get away with trial scenes like "actually we have another clip here..." If the trial scenes had been written well this could have been a masterpiece coming off the back of the Depp trial.
Apparently, they planned on releasing this show much earlier, before the Ms. Marvel, but it was so horrendous that they had to do a massive amount of reshoots. Makes the mind reel just thinking about how horrible this show used to be...
I was just thinking this myself. It almost couldn't have come at a WORSE time. Most of the world has just seen hours of real court drama play out. It just makes the writing of the show even MORE farcical, because Disney were so fucking cheap they wouldn't shell out for some decent legal advisors.
@@axiss5840 They didn't even need legal advice, just 2 hrs watching a court drama movie would have given them good pointers. "My cousin Vinny" comes to mind and that is actually funny with a real strong woman that behaves like women. Alas the Disney writers are like 9 year old kids that were locked in their parents basement for the last 50 years and have never even seen a tailor let alone a good movie.
I know I'm two weeks late to this, but one more MASSIVE point I'd like to throw into this dogpile... Who owns Pirates of the Caribbean again? How do you sit in a company, work for the company, WRITE *_FOR THE COMPANY_* , and not have ANY IDEA of where to get ANY context clues from?! ESPECIALLY when it's involving an actor from a MASSIVELY profitable IP series they owned?! The level of brain melt is TRULY astounding.
It might come in the future episodes, explained or mansplained in some other episode that should've been before this. I just laugh and watch these reviews.
The only reason I'll allow it is because characters like lex Luther can be known villains and still run business...however they are more or less usually stated or implied to have officials in their pockets, so some kind of explanation
Great review as always. One point: she needs a tailor, but when she shrinks down in front of the tailor, her suit still fits her, albeit badly, but it's not hanging off her as if it had been made for a 6ft 7 woman. So why did the tailor decide he would create a versatile suit? She already seemed to have one. Was the suit he was going to create a more "fashionable" one? We might see it next week. Can't wait 🤮
We're over halfway done with the season and Jen has done exactly one scene of superheroing in her superhero show, when she stopped Titania from killing a jury. We had one fight with Hulk where she was a massive bitch and one self defense fight with discount wrecking crew, but the only time she actually saved someone else was the one 19 second scene in episode one.
@@james3876 She didn't save Bruce, and the person you're replying to didn't say she saved him either. The people Jen did save was the jury in the 19-second fight in episode one.
The court part is so bad...Titania's lawyer brings a motion to dismiss before the court and the judge doesn't formally rule on it, she just recesses till Thursday.... Also the creepy guy She-Hulk keeps complaining about still hasn't done anything wrong, he's just been branded a creep based on his looks.
What I found so weird is that they brought up the motion to dismiss even though they were the plaintiffs ... and the show never mentioned a counter suit.
@@bethanyh1637 No no, the show DID say She-Hulk's lawyer was going to countersue. What they were discussing in court was that countersuit, which is why Titania's lawyer brought a preliminary motion to dismiss. The writers are so bad they forgot Titania's original suit, which would be in a different court and have a different judge and somehow compressed the whole thing down to 1 court and 1 judge that somehow not only decided the countersuit but also Titania's action by nullifying her trademark. Oh yeah, and despite Titania suing way before She-Hulk, somehow She-Hulk gets a court date FIRST????
They really make light of the depth of anger banner can feel don't they? Like a child who has no concept of the experiences the child is trying to talk about.
im pretty sure the moment she said she has to control her anger and turning green indicates she doesn't actually control it properly, its pretty obvious at this point.
Every time Bruce is on screen he's trying to control it to the point it makes viewers scared he will let loose Meanwhile Jen is always having it loose making me go, "OH there she goes again"
For those wondering: You dont need to trademark a nickname since its not a profitable endevor. Whenever someone trademark something you specify wich activity it will be used for and it will be only for that specific area. That way Dominos pizza cant sue the domino heroine for using their brand or the Iron man event sue the iron man superhero.
Her law firm is using the fact they have She Hulk as the head of their superhuman law division as a way to get clients. So the full force of her firm should be behind her…and the firm should have copy written the name.
I absolutely agree, it feels like the week drags on just to get to the good stuff. I love his reviews. He’s probably my favorite reviewer because he really goes into the shows where a lot of others I watch don’t
@@Mimo-ye5pm I'm happy all of us fans (I'm a very casual fan, I watch the extended editions once a year over Labor Day weekend and I've read the hobbit. Not a hardcore fan at all) are shitting on that. Even though I'm a casual, they fucked with Wheel of Time and I'll never forgive them for that. Hollywood in general just in the past 5 years fucked up Marvel, fucked up DC, fucked up Wheel of Time, fucked up Star Trek etc. We gotta do two things, trash this shit and support people actually putting out good works (or at least look promising from first impressions) like Rippa.
To be fair I'm surprised that Titania managed to copyright the She-hulk name at all when she should still be in prison for destruction of government property, assaulting police, and attempting to break out a criminal.
She could either. 1) Legally change her name to "She-Hulk". Doesnt even have to be her first name... She can change her name to "Jennifer, She-hulk, Walters" No one can stop you from using your own name, not even if they have it trademarked. Case closed. 2) Just not call herself as She-Hulk. If EVERYONE else on the entire planet does doesnt matter, its not ground for a law suit. She didnt come up with it, she didnt even want it, its what everyone else called her. Good luck suing her for that. Case closed.
She doesn't even need to do that. Titania isn't claiming to be Shehulk, or that its her character name. She using it as a cosmetic label. So Titania would need to show that Jen's use of the name is causing confusion with her label. If Jen was trying to sell her own line of makeup, she'd have a case...but its just a nickname. And not even spelled the same.
I thought Titania assaulted people in court? Why is she not in prison? Why is the courts allowing someone who should either be in jail or on the run get a trademark?
After her stellar performance in Orphan Black, I feel really sad that Maslany gets tainted with this show, and THIS will be what most people will associate her with.
I didn't see Orphan Black but I've heard she was good in it. It's true, her performance in She Hulk isn't bad! But such is the life of an actor. I don't feel too badly for people who literally got paid to help put this crap out.
is it just me or does she look old? she was hot in orphan black. now she looks 20 years older. and orphan black premiered in 2013. the wall is undefeated. edit: i looked it up and she was born in '85. so she was 28 when the show premiered and shes now 38. she looked younger in orphan black. she definitely looks 38 now tho
@Disparu even if I couldn't care less about the shows or movies you are reviewing, I am compelled to watch every video you do. You are absolutely hilarious in the most gloriously brutal ways. Disparu, you do such great work and you NEVER fail to make me laugh my ass off. Thank you SO MUCH for what you do so well. Days like today when I need a laugh or I'll be tempted to burst into tears, you are a saving grace. Really man, thank you! I pray your channel grows to enormous amounts. As always, WELL DONE! 👍🤗 "I'm the guy who knows the guy, not the guy who is the guy who is or could've known the guy... no..." and the voice you did it in was an absolute gem. 👏
2:45 Technically it's not. Something the writers don't seem to understand is being a lawyer doesn't suddenly mean you are knowledgeable of every field of law for which there are a literal crap ton of and many fields of legal specialization exist. Jen is obviously a Criminal Defense Lawyer, Trademarking meanwhile falls into the realm of Intellectual Property/Copyright Law, which is an entirely different field. I know that because I actually took classes on that in Law School. Yes trademarking is something you can learn about, but being a lawyer doesn't automatically mean you would and doesn't make it your area of expertise. Shame nobody told the writers that.
This is all true. The idea of her representing herself in this suit is doubly laughable, because of that reason and that lawyers don't represent themselves.
Same here. I have not watched a single episode. Nor do I intend to. But, I HAVE WATCHED EVERY ONE OF YOUR REVIEWS. And I eagerly wait for each new one.
“None of us are that adept at writing, you know, rousing trial scenes.” Ok, couldn’t they have gotten someone from the studio’s legal department to consult?
If you want gripping and nuanced legal drama watch 12 Angry Men. Henry Fonda's not the only good actor in it. Cure the garbage of She Hulk with a stellar film.
And one thing that we all realized very slowly was none of us are that adept at writing … (pause) … rousing trial scenes - for some reason this just keeps gets funnier and funnier every time he plugs that
I love how when the writers actually introduce a barely competent lawyer she points out everything the audience has been asking themselves up until this point, "why as a lawyer didn't you trademark the name?" And her best response actually cracked me up and that was from watching the review NOT the episode as you really don't know that Dr Strange and Thor DONT need to trademark thier REAL names?? 🤣😂😂😂😂 I barely got through the 1st 2 episodes only cause you couldn't say I'm a hypocrite to criticise something i haven't watched. I find the reviews more entertaining and laugh casue it's like "this is the best you could.come up with??" Its BS and enjoy the channel as means I don't need to watch this crap
Funnily enough, since trademark has to be for a product, Jen couldn’t trademark it, she could get it copyrighted though, so the writers failed in their research too
I'm not sure that's even true. TMEP 813 applies even in the cases of nicknames, stagenames and pseudonyms, so the mark should not have been awarded. Iron Man need not trademark his own name for protection under TMEP 813 to apply.
I've spent enough time criticizing shows I haven't watched. I'm not a bad person for doing that. They're bad people for making things so awful that it's easy to criticize without even watching.
Disparu you have my sympathy for having to watch this so we don't have to, you're the hero we need thank you for all your sacrifices and will see you on FNT
I’m still so confused. Isn’t Titania a criminal or something for committing a crime and then causing mayhem in a courthouse? Is she allowed to start a makeup company while on bail? Wtf got things here?
They changed the ordering of episodes/scenes around. I'm fairly certain that Titania's courtroom attack was supposed to be part of the finale, as it makes no sense otherwise why she's in full superhero getup in court and gets introduced with no context whatsoever.
@@crazyrabbits apparently, Titania was able to regain her innocence because "she's beautiful." Essentially the street race murder story but the criminal is actually released.
This just has me thinking about a much better take on trademarking of a superhero identity. I believe it was in Ultimate Spider-Man when Fisk buys the rights to Spidey's image so he can start making toys and merch, which he then uses against Peter telling him something along the lines of "every time you go out and save lives or foil my work, as you rise in popularity that's fine, because you are just making more money for me." It gets under Peter's skin and he is helpless to stop it because he would have to reveal his identity if he wanted to fight it. In the hands of better writers things like this actually could have been interesting, but alas its current day MCU so what can you really expect.
I'm still trying to figure out why no one is like "Hey isn't that Titania the same woman that smashed through a courtroom wall and tried to kill a bunch of jurors in the middle of a trial? Maybe we should call the police."
I watched the episode early this morning. I've been waiting for this review ever since. We really are spoiled on Thursdays - we get reactions to She-Hulk, and then livestreams of reactions to Rings of Power! Also, every time you quote the "rousing trial scenes" interview, and you pause right after "none of us are that adept at writing..." it cracks me up. Like, yeah, you don't need the "rousing trial scenes" qualifier there.
My wife watched 1 episode of ROP and 3 episodes of She Hulk and now she is already done with it. I wonder who the target audience really is at this point. Its not for man, women seem to dislike it as well. For the kids? Also my wife likes series like Suits and other lawyer stuff, and considering her distaste for she hulk it is obvious to me that this show fails on all fronts EQUALLY. lol
I really hope it's not for kids because it teaches children to be selfish, bratty, and complaining but to never do anything to improve the situations they don't like. You're handed cool powers that you can control instantly? Let's complain about it for the whole show and whine when we have to use them to help people. You got a cushy job because of being the hulk? Let's whine about that too and how terrible it is that you get to make tons of money while barely taking any cases, in a career that you yourself studied and aimed for.
Yes, as a woman, I keep wondering who the target is. I mean, the writer keeps talking about how She Hulk/Jen is experiencing universal women's issues...but I dunno, the show's not anything I have an interest in. I personally haven't seen any women say they like it. Something interesting: I was looking at the reviews on imdb's page, and out of about 35,000 reviewers with a registered gender, only around 4000 were women, vs 31,000 men.
I’m not going to lie, the suit that stretches with her MIGHT have worked if it happened in Episode 2 or 3. It could have come up as a reaction to her having to come to work as She-Hulk (and not wanting to be drowning in her clothes when she changes back), or perhaps to seeing Blonksky rip out of his clothes and having nothing to go back to. Maybe the law firm recommends her. Maybe BANNER gives her a card at the end of Episode 1 for, “Some guy Tony hooked me up to for a suit that won’t rip.” The writers waited too long, though. They failed to take advantage of the comedic opportunities of her not having a size-changing suit. I’m not sure how many people genuinely care about her suit at this point.
It could have worked that early, if they hadn’t already had her in suits that always looked oversized, sometimes more so in She Hulk form than Jen form. If she is wearing a suit that would fit her as She Hulk, she should look like Kevin Hart wearing one of the Rock’s suits when she is Jen.
"I don't know any other lawyer that would humiliate themselves like that to win a case." Reminds me about a video I was watching not too long ago about a lawyer that was representing someone that was accused of killing someone. The defense was that they hadn't killed the victim, in fact the victim had accidentally shot themself. While testing this out and demonstrating how it was possible the lawyer accidentally shot and killed himself.
Apparently the "walk home at night with headphones on" is what the writer said they'd do if they had Hulk powers....not try to save people or do good...just walk home with headphones.
Bless you for going through these episodes, and properly criticizing them. I don't know how you do it, or where you get the energy, but I appreciate the work. Watching this is (I assume) infinitely more entertaining than the actual show.
I never would have thought that I'd sit down and play a review of a show like I would have sat down years ago to watch the actual show. I actually made popcorn. Thank you for watching these and reviewing them so we don't have to! :D
Trademarks are actually kind of interesting. I can't help but think of the lawsuit over the brand name Kellogg. Basically one brother was a doctor that had started a business using his name, the other brother worked for him a bit, they produced Kellogg cereal which the doctor brother was using as a health food in his business. The other brother split off and decided to start selling it to everyone, and not just at the business. It was successful and the doctor brother then decided to start selling cereal also. Long story short it ended up with them in court, where the case basically boiled down to who was the more famous Kellogg. The court ended up siding with the brother who wasn't a doctor and who had started selling the cereal first.
If they wanted thrilling cases for the show, they should have just roped in X-Men and have She Hulk take cases on behalf of Mutants. Its the same Character Universe so why not. Would be an excellent tie in for Rogue into Ms Marvel. Mutant discrimination would be everything the show needs in terms of Drama and excitement. Would give basis to have discriminating Judges, Lawyers throwing cases for Mutants, Lawyers taking advantage of mutants and all sorts of discrimination stuff. There would even be some realm of action that She-Hulk could get into with Sentinels and stuff.
The writers said they don't know how to write court scenes. Think young and recently out of college with a writing degree. That's basically the writers for the show, they just don't enough life experience or know how about anything to do anything interesting or believable.
Is easier than all of this. You don't need to trademark something that's not a brand of anything. She hulk is not trying to sell products with her name attached so NOTHING MATTERS
From what I learned from LegalEagle there are different specializations in law and She-hulk might not specialize in trademark so she might not want to represent herself. But I doubt writers thought of that
@@pestulio07 i just meant women are several inches shorter on average, so although 6'7 mens clothing may be for sale 6'7 womens clothing probably isn't
I simply dont see that being possible. Whereas I have never seen either at the very least this is brain-dead mindless fuel which doesnt leave your soul dead inside. Rings of Power is a direct assault and mockery of Western culure and lore.
Honestly I think ROP is worse. Yes She-Hulk is awful don't get me wrong... but at least some of the dialogue seems close to how sentient beings would communicate. ROP legit was written by an AI the conversations and decisions of the characters make NO SENSE.
@@toddpacker1015 Indeed. One is simply disposable and laughably bad. The other forever takes a part of Western canon and forever dumps on it. I felt the same about HBOs Watchmen because like ROP it will always be linked to something that was initially brilliant
A lawyer show, about people who have no idea about what goes on in the courtroom, whose writers have never even seen an episode of Law and Order, they don't understand how copyright works...they don't understand anything. This is painful
Oh wow.. Called it quits on this show after last weeks snooze fest, but it sounds like it got even worse.. Most entertaining thing about the She-Hulk show so far, has been your reviews, keep up the good work mate :)
What amazes me about this episode is that, after wilful destruction of public property and intent to cause actual bodily harm to a jury (both events witnessed in court), Titania has enough money left to set up a new brand of clothing, pay for materials and manufacture, AND pay for a mass advertising campaign
This entire episode was literally a venture into the entire "I want what I can't have" mentality that women have when it comes to most things, ex boyfriends for example.
It was written by a gaggle of bitter old bitches, can't expect much better. If they started production on this like 3 months later, I guarantee they would write in a Kevin Samuels or Andrew Tate stand in just to get back at men. But yeah, when it comes to women my age and younger (29) I see very little relationship skills and apparently that has made it's way to Hollywood. If She-Hulk represents women and their attitudes, dying alone doesn't look so bad.
Feminists are notorious for simultaneously wanting to be victims and self-empowered at the same time. Makes sense their version of a female hulk would get the same treatment with the Schrodinger's anger nonsense
Funny thing is that news came out showing that She-Hulk has more viewers than Rings of Power. Oh how Disney's several million dollar show is doing more than what was made for over a billion dollar.
But the guy in the tea place only had knock offs, how did Pug get the “real” Iron Man sneakers? But how did she win? Titania had to get the make up products made, get sketches and designs, boxes printed at the factory, shipped to a warehouse, inventoried, etc. Jen took minutes to make a profile, maybe a week or so then made her She-Hulk profile?
I think Pug's contact only directed them to the tea guy and wasn't the tea guy, himself. The tea guy then directed them towards not-Edna Mode. She won her case because the writers said she did. Trademark law doesn't work the way the show presented it as working... AT ALL! Its not even close. Don't waste your time trying to understand this garbage.
It's funny how many mid to bad comedy shows from the beginning of television start to look like masterpieces compared to this. Thank you Disney for doing your best yet again to make other comedy shows look good.
That's why Friendship Is Magic got such a fanbase. In a sea of mediocre drek, we got a show that was actually almost '90s good animated show quality good, and that drew a LOT of people in.

PSA: If you have a friend currently watching the MCU for the first time tell them the last official entry is Infinity War. Tell them Thanos won and was right all along.
Yea, endgame took the seriousness out of the MCU with time travel and hulk's snap. Fat Thor and his existential crisis nonsense during a time his people needed him the most as well. Just a lot wrong with everything past infinity war.
Infinity War was a masterpiece, Endgame was a resounding disappointment drenched in meaningless 'fan service' without any logic, thought or care to most of the story beats or character arcs and their resolutions. To me, if Infinity War was a 10/10, Endgame was a 6/10.
@@tlrlml That's fair. I absolutely adore Infinity War but found Endgame totally caught lacking and failed to pay off the build up given by Infinity War.
I don't subscribe to Disney + or watch any of their stuff. But I did stay in a holiday Inn express last night, which is why I get everything I need from watching Disparu's she-hulk reviews.
The only smart move that I've seen in this show is when they're talking about Doctor Strange and Thor not trademarking their names and then someone points that it's cause those are their real names 9:22 Also, not me just realizing now but did Disney seriously rip off The Amazing Bulk??? WHAT. IN. THE. ACTUAL. FUCK.
Yeah, like how stupid is Jen to not realise those are their names.Thor Odinson is a asgardian, he was given that name from birth likely by his mother, way before he was known as a hero to earth. If someone tried to copyright it it would be instantly dismissed since Thor is known to have that name from when he was born, and he literally is the God of Thunder.Same for Strange, he’s got birth certificates and all.
This entire genre of new female woke characters is completely fabricated only to appeal to the crazies of the modern world. This entire narrative relies on every woman being as miserable and entitled as She-Hulk is, since the writers clearly assume all women are like that. I’m a woman and I love my femininity. I want a caring husband, I want children, and it’s unfortunate that in this day and age that would be seen as weak and a regressive way of thinking. Horrendous writers such as the ones who wrote this show don’t see this due to them being man-hating liberals. I wish we could have more women whom show appreciation for their men in films, rather than disrespecting them. Sadly, this isn’t likely to happen as we seem to be moving in the opposite direction. Excellent reviews, keep up the good work! I refuse to watch the show, so this fills me in on it pretty well- (and from what I’ve seen, I’m not missing much 😂)
The impossibility of the tailor is she wants a suit that she can wear when she's Jennifer and when she's She-Hulk that will stretch and contract and stay fitted for both
In a perfect world this show would get precisely 1 view on disney+, the Disparu view. Then everyone else could come here for actual comedy and only one person would have to suffer permanent brain damage.
Even though this is a show I would absolutely loathe and abjure, I do enjoy your breakdowns of each episode. You make it sound a lot more entertaining than it actually is.
"I hate when men explain things in the field in which I am an expert." I've done this with many experts in their field when they fail or forget to do basic/beginner level stuff and it bites them in the ass. Cause yeah, if she was half as good a lawyer as she was supposed to be when people started calling her "She-Hulk" she would've trademarked the name in an effort to keep control of its usage.
There are numerous reasons to dislike this series, the most notable of which is Jen's obsession with herself. I can't believe this will last until the finale; right now, I can only "imagine" that this is a 'flaw' in Jen's character, and that in the final episode, Jen will realize his attitude and change it. In my opinion, it would be an interesting narrative twist that would help shock people's opinions all this time. However, that is just my guess; perhaps this series will continue to be disliked until the end, hahaha.
I mean it could happen, but considering how much they have doubled down on it at this point, I don't think so lmao. If they do try it, I don't think it'll work out how they intend.

Where is the Karen screeching vehemently?
Where is the rainbow coloured flag and the crusading banner,

The days have gone down in the west.

I'm an actual lawyer, but I can attest that there is no legal way to get this show off the air as much as I would want it to be gone.
Objection! This show clearly should be taken off the air.
A valiant effort though
Can I sue the creators for emotional damages? Or threatening the multiverse? Seriously, it's so goddamn bad I worry that it's an existential threat tearing at the walls of reality.

They couldn't.
They then went to their bosses.
The bosses then tore them new ones.

I mean, the very first episode was her womansplaining that she's better at controlling her anger than Hulk despite having the powers for all of minute.
Same here, except it was in a Doctor's Office. Every manager knows how to do your job better than you.
She was hot too... Daddy likey
A strong, independent woman who wears a sperm target on her chest instead of clothes.
Unlike everyone else on the show.
and she has great cleavage.
Disparu, I hate to break it to you, but you’re making the scene-by-scene trashing of this show so entertaining that I’m genuinely tempted to start watching it.

As a law student, I think she hulk is actually a courtroom comedy, it's hilarious to think this is remotely anything like what actual courts are like.
comedy or tragedy?
I learned more about court proceedings from Twelve Angry Men than the writers know.
Apparently NOTHING in the show is remotely like anything real. Shopping. The media. Human thought and interaction. Is that funny? Or just nonsense?
The writers admit they don't know how to write rousing courtroom scenes. More like they don't know how to write, period. It just goes to show you how lazy these writers are to not even research what real life lawyers go through.
lol everyone would be held in contempt lol
Fun fact about the law, its like a tree with multiple branches. A lawyer that specializes in criminal law may have very limited experience with civil law. I wouldn't hire a divorce lawyer to defend me in a murder case. These people couldn't even be bothered to do even basic research on the legal field.
Think trademark is done by Corporate Lawyers which is a different branch of law entirely as you well say. Of course I don't expect the lunatic writers to know this... but still it's pretty cringe
Hell, I even knew that.
So, Jen demonstrates she doesn't work in IP law, and she's being slammed for not thinking about IP law. Brilliant.

They "KNOW THEIR WORTH" is why.
Nothing causes them to 'deserve it' except 50 years of brainwashing and 'you go grrl' drivel.
How does Titania get to keep running a brand after attacking a courthouse?
Im also curious, it was probably answered in the show but I still want to know the shows bs reason.
Because "the Message".
Yeah I'm fairly certain multiple charges of attempted murder would put a damper on the LLC and patent processes.
I'm dreading what they will do to Daredevil. I loved that show and loved the Punisher. If they fuck up Daredevil, fuck you Marvel.

She doesn't even need to do that. Titania isn't claiming to be Shehulk, or that its her character name. She using it as a cosmetic label.
Yes, I don't watch the show but just your reviews. Can't wait to hear what you have to say about Episode 5!

“None of us are that adept at writing, you know, rousing trial scenes.” Ok, couldn’t they have gotten someone from the studio’s legal department to consult?
They only had $25M per episode and hookers & blow don't come cheap.
If you want gripping and nuanced legal drama watch 12 Angry Men. Henry Fonda's not the only good actor in it. Cure the garbage of She Hulk with a stellar film.

He should have made a running gag out of it where he waits longer and longer for the "rousing trial scenes" 😄

Hollywood's, excuse me Disney's, most talented writers got us here...
I don’t even watch s-hulk but I love your reviews. More entertaining than the show itself. Thank you sir

Also my wife likes series like Suits and other lawyer stuff, and considering her distaste for she hulk it is obvious to me that this show fails on all fronts EQUALLY. lol
For kids and young adults to change the culture. Older people will hate it, but as kids grow up they will look back more foundly
Suits is hilariously bad lawyer television.
It’s for angry ugly green haired women
So you're saying this show isn't suit-able?! 😄
@Anonymous Cheese Having missed their window, that really would have been preferable at this point.

She hulk is not trying to sell products with her name attached so NOTHING MATTERS
the fact Disparu still pauses between the "none of us were adept" and the "at writing rousing trial scenes" is still amazing
A spot on analysis! Thank you for your hard work.
The head of the law firm is by far the best character of this show.
This show is absolutely 100% *not* what J.R.R. Tolkien had in mind when he created the character of She-Hulk.
Are you serious? She-Hulk is Marvel not Tolkien.
@@phigranewmo9934 Sir. You do know what a joke is right?
"A man who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client" is a saying for a reason
Been waiting ALL day for this, Get em Disparu 😱🔥👏😂🙌
"If you haven't seen the previous episodes, I envy you."
Classic.
🤣🤣🤣
From what I learned from LegalEagle there are different specializations in law and She-hulk might not specialize in trademark so she might not want to represent herself.
But I doubt writers thought of that
The writers of this show don't think of anything.
As a 6'7" man, I can indeed confirm that tall clothing exists. You literally don't have to look any farther than Walmart lol.
I'm pretty sure 6'7" WOMEN'S clothing doesn't get sold at Walmart. But probably does in some specialty store still off the shelf.
@@gavinjenkins899 Hey I never said it was good clothing, but it's there :p
@@pestulio07 i just meant women are several inches shorter on average, so although 6'7 mens clothing may be for sale 6'7 womens clothing probably isn't
It's worse than Rings of Amazon. That's actually quite impressive.
I simply dont see that being possible. Whereas I have never seen either at the very least this is brain-dead mindless fuel which doesnt leave your soul dead inside.
Rings of Power is a direct assault and mockery of Western culure and lore.
And I still won't watch either show.
She hulk is the new bar to top in terms of awfulness
Honestly I think ROP is worse. Yes She-Hulk is awful don't get me wrong... but at least some of the dialogue seems close to how sentient beings would communicate. ROP legit was written by an AI the conversations and decisions of the characters make NO SENSE.
@@toddpacker1015 Indeed. One is simply disposable and laughably bad. The other forever takes a part of Western canon and forever dumps on it.
I felt the same about HBOs Watchmen because like ROP it will always be linked to something that was initially brilliant
They: Have you even watched the show?
Me: Yes, I've watched Disparu.
These reviews are far more entertaining than the show itself.
That sounds like the mentality girls have and grow out of the become women. When grown women have such a mentality, they are simple bitches.
It's always great to see Disparu's videos in the morning!
The writers have literally set a bar ("I pretty much control my anger all the time") and Jen continues to fail at it 😂😂😂
Feminists are notorious for simultaneously wanting to be victims and self-empowered at the same time. Makes sense their version of a female hulk would get the same treatment with the Schrodinger's anger nonsense
I just watch because you get me through the work day, but I'm home now and you're just as savage at comedians get, when you're inspired.
Funny thing is that news came out showing that She-Hulk has more viewers than Rings of Power. Oh how Disney's several million dollar show is doing more than what was made for over a billion dollar.
Good grief - that's sad on so many levels... but also funny. 😆
There is a whole community forming that loves to listen to Disparu talk about She Hulk instead of watching it ourselves!
9:25 C'mon son... you KNOW they are already loading those shirts onto the Disney+ store for the "fans" to purchase for non-knockoff prices...
It's funny how many mid to bad comedy shows from the beginning of television start to look like masterpieces compared to this. Thank you Disney for doing your best yet again to make other comedy shows look good.
Or just watch a good comedy. Watch an episode of Cheers after an episode of She-Hulk and you'll literally be rolling on the floor laughing.
That's why Friendship Is Magic got such a fanbase. In a sea of mediocre drek, we got a show that was actually almost '90s good animated show quality good, and that drew a LOT of people in.
They're basically trying to make Edna Mode with that superhero tailor.
I just don't understand why they *constantly* feel the need to belittle and insult men. It just seems so unnecessarily mean-spirited and immature...
That's how woke feminists imagine they empower themselves - hadn't you noticed?
Now to sit and wait for the Rings of Power review. This should be excellent.
Shaquille O’Neal had suites custom made for him he even had a car custom made for how big he is probably a lot more custom stuff I love ur take on the tailor it’s ridiculous
I love how she always claims to be so great at controlling her anger and then constantly disproves that by constantly getting pissed off at everything
The fact that the show is called she hulk attorney at law and no one did their homework to know anything about the law is just 🤯
I’m 6”2’. (Reasonably) physically fit, and when I walk around late at night, I’m always careful to make sure I have my headphones in and music up loud, ‘cos I don’t care. When the muggers jump out from behind the bushes, its like Batman v. Superman. I’m slam-dunking them into tarmac, throwing them into trees, its crazy.
Hold on, I’m just looking for the sarcasm emoji…
PSA: If you have a friend currently watching the MCU for the first time tell them the last official entry is Infinity War. Tell them Thanos won and was right all along.
Good ending: instead of ending half of humanity he instead ended all of humanity. Done.
@@Jake-qo3mp I think you are being a bit to generous, tbh
@@tlrlml That's fair. I absolutely adore Infinity War but found Endgame totally caught lacking and failed to pay off the build up given by Infinity War.
"...why she's still wearing the end of her finger out"
Double entendre that can be seen from low earth orbit
Well played.
I don't subscribe to Disney + or watch any of their stuff. But I did stay in a holiday Inn express last night, which is why I get everything I need from watching Disparu's she-hulk reviews.
The only smart move that I've seen in this show is when they're talking about Doctor Strange and Thor not trademarking their names and then someone points that it's cause those are their real names
9:22 Also, not me just realizing now but did Disney seriously rip off The Amazing Bulk??? WHAT. IN. THE. ACTUAL.
I refuse to watch the show, so this fills me in on it pretty well- (and from what I’ve seen, I’m not missing much 😂)
She-Hulk has to fight over a title she didn't want? Really?
The impossibility of the tailor is she wants a suit that she can wear when she's Jennifer and when she's She-Hulk that will stretch and contract and stay fitted for both
Haven't watched one episode of this hot garbage but I'll always tune in for Disparu's crispy reviews!
You make it sound a lot more entertaining than it actually is.
the best part of this show is the ending
I would say the beginning because it let's me know to change the channel.
Dear Disparu,
The audience realised very quickly, that none of the show's writers could write.
Frank.
"I hate when men explain things in the field in which I am an expert."
I've done this with many experts in their field when they fail or forget to do basic/beginner level stuff and it bites them in the ass.
Cause yeah, if she was half as good a lawyer as she was supposed to be when people started calling her "She-Hulk" she would've trademarked the name in an effort to keep control of its usage.
But she's a twerking expert don't you know?
So... she's an expert in "law"? Just law? Not copyright law, or criminal law, etc.?
She hulk didn't have time to copyright her name, ok?! She was too busy swiping right on dating apps!
I’m honestly having fun laughing along to these reviews
I really your videos…especially your take of the Rings of Prime, but these She-Hulk reviews are pure gold! 🤣🤣🤣
"We bonded over how big our egos are compare to our actual value and how we gonna end up with cats" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣That one killed me !!
Nothing happened in this episode, nothing at all. I was left impressed at how they managed to do that.
