I just viewed a video on his calling to the priesthood and he even said he knows what he wants and his vocation before the priesthood was that of a lawyer. He’s a smart man and he knows what needs to be said. All I know is that when I found him online during the US Grace Force podcast with Fr. Heilman he blew me away and after that he was just so inspirational. I love Father Altman and I support him 100%. Too many bishops and priests are lukewarm. Father Altman is the first UA-cam priest i found when searching for a catholic message back in March 2020 , oh I prefer rough around the edges !! , then i found you Father Goring ., then i found The Grace Force . UA-cam kept giving me “gospel “ choices in my newsfeed once it saw my viewing likes . I weeded thru them and concluded this cradle Catholic prefers Vatican I . I am 61 and live on Long Island , NY . I'm exactly the same and follow all those you mentioned. That has been the only good thing about the lockouts. I watched my first Latin mass with Fr. Altman the other day on YT. I totally didn't understand what was happening but I can see why people would rather attend it. I guess I would like to at least have a more holy NO mass, not like what we have now. I can't stand the sign of peace and hope it never comes back. I asked one Sister why there's no Latin mass in the area and she got kind of upset. I thought, Jeez it was only a question. It's rough out there right now. God bless us all.

@@countrymikki you should get yourself an old Latin Mass missal. I found one at a Yardsale! But you can find them on eBay. St. Joseph’s Missal is great because it is a student missal. It explains TLM and helps you follow (it tells you in bold red what to read next). But also - there are amazing prayers, and traditional practices of the church described within that make me understand just how reverent and serious the church USED to be and how much has been lost. I cannot express enough what amazing growth and understanding came from finding that missal.

I live in the southwest of Ireland, small city called Limerick.. We're blessed in having a community of the fransiscan Friars of the renewal living in our city.. We also have the institute of Christ the king who provide the Latin Mass. 2 very different orders of Catholic priests with one huge thing in common. People flock to them. They are utterly respected and loved because they preach the truth, something we've been starved of it in Ireland for decades.. I grew up with a diluted watered-down wishy wash brand of Catholicism, I was educated by a religious order and left school with no idea what transubstantiation was!!! Full of social justice but no clue about my Faith. Its only since I encountered the Fransiscans and their crazy love of God with service and love at the heart of everything they do and the amazing TLM priests who introduced me to the Utter HOLINESS of Mass have I really met with what I consider to be Holy priests.. That's not to take away from the hard working parish priests of my childhood, but it's obvious a lot of them have never encountered Christ in a real tangible way and it's tragic to see this when one encounters the real thing.. I believe God is raising up Priests for this time.. Priests like the aforementioned, also fr. Mark, Fr Altman, Fr. Mike Schmidt etc... Who preach the gospel without fear.. This gives me reason to be very hopeful.. The Catholic Church my Children will experience might be much smaller but it will be much more authentic. More Real because God will be centre stage.. I guess we all struggled with not being properly taught and instructed, the 1970's were awful with the folk Masses, moving the Tabernacle, denied receiving the Eucharist at the Altar Rails on the tongue. Both Fr James and Fr Mark have been what helps me see through the fog of these other questionable Priests. At one point I thought I was leaving but they helped me understand the right choice is to stay and im so happy I did but I will support these two priests and the ones like them to my last breath
You hit the nail on the head, Fr. Mark--Fr. James Altman IS a "breath of fresh air"! I stayed away from the RCC for 35+ years, because of the junk that was going on, even in my parish. I wasn't getting spiritually fed, so I left. I learned a lot from the non-denominational churches who preached right out of the Bible. It wasn't years lost, that's for sure, nor did it hurt my relationship with Christ; it actually made me closer to Jesus. But the Lord had a plan, and He knew I told Him I would not go back until He started weeding out the filth, and get some really good priests to preach the Word of God, and speak the truth, even if it meant to call out their own to repent. THAT is exactly what I heard from Fr. James, and Archbishop Vigano, and a few others in the clergy, that stand up and speak out! THAT is what the Lord made me discover in this past year, as He was slowly working on my heart to go back. It's because of priests like Fr. James, and even the TLM that I absolutely love, that has brought me back to the Church. May God continue to protect Fr. Altman and all the others who speak out so boldly for the cause of Christ, and the truth of His Word! May God continue to raise up more good men like him, and bring the Church back to honoring the Lord God Almighty!🙏🙌

Fr. Mark has a way with words doesn’t he? I love the way he packages things.
I just viewed a video on his calling to the priesthood and he even said he knows what he wants and his vocation before the priesthood was that of a lawyer. He’s a smart man and he knows what needs to be said. All I know is that when I found him online during the US Grace Force podcast with Fr. Heilman he blew me away and after that he was just so inspirational. I love Father Altman and I support him 100%. Too many bishops and priests are lukewarm. And this has cost us so many people to leave the church. Praying for all the holy and devout priests and clergy. Viva Christo Rey! Pray pray pray!

Father Altman is the first UA-cam priest i found when searching for a catholic message back in March 2020 , oh I prefer rough around the edges !! , then i found you Father Goring ., then i found The Grace Force . UA-cam kept giving me “gospel “ choices in my newsfeed once it saw my viewing likes . I weeded thru them and concluded this cradle Catholic prefers Vatican I . I am 61 and live on Long Island , NY . I appreciate your morning messages . Also the Marion Priests in Stockbridge Massachusetts are great.
I'm exactly the same and follow all those you mentioned. That has been the only good thing about the lockouts. I watched my first Latin mass with Fr. Altman the other day on YT. I totally didn't understand what was happening but I can see why people would rather attend it. I guess I would like to at least have a more holy NO mass, not like what we have now. I can't stand the sign of peace and hope it never comes back. I asked one Sister why there's no Latin mass in the area and she got kind of upset. I thought, Jeez it was only a question. It's rough out there right now. God bless us all.

@@countrymikki you should get yourself an old Latin Mass missal. I found one at a Yardsale! But you can find them on eBay. St. Joseph’s Missal is great because it is a student missal. It explains TLM and helps you follow (it tells you in bold red what to read next). But also - there are amazing prayers, and traditional practices of the church described within that make me understand just how reverent and serious the church USED to be and how much has been lost. I cannot express enough what amazing growth and understanding came from finding that missal.

I live in the southwest of Ireland, small city called Limerick.. We're blessed in having a community of the fransiscan Friars of the renewal living in our city.. We also have the institute of Christ the king who provide the Latin Mass.
2 very different orders of Catholic priests with one huge thing in common.
People flock to them. They are utterly respected and loved because they preach the truth, something we've been starved of it in Ireland for decades.. I grew up with a diluted watered-down wishy wash brand of Catholicism, I was educated by a religious order and left school with no idea what transubstantiation was!!! Full of social justice but no clue about my Faith.
Its only since I encountered the Fransiscans and their crazy love of God with service and love at the heart of everything they do and the amazing TLM priests who introduced me to the Utter HOLINESS of Mass have I really met with what I consider to be Holy priests.. That's not to take away from the hard working parish priests of my childhood, but it's obvious a lot of them have never encountered Christ in a real tangible way and it's tragic to see this when one encounters the real thing..
I believe God is raising up Priests for this time.. Priests like the aforementioned, also fr. Mark, Fr Altman, Fr. Mike Schmidt etc... Who preach the gospel without fear.. This gives me reason to be very hopeful.. The Catholic Church my Children will experience might be much smaller but it will be much more authentic. More Real because God will be centre stage..

God bless you! I'm from USA, and always held Catholics in Ireland in such high regard. I guess we all struggled with not being properly taught and instructed, the 1970's were awful with the folk Masses, moving the Tabernacle, denied receiving the Eucharist at the Altar Rails on the tongue.

I wrote the Nuncio and My Bishop David O’Connell of the Diocese of Trenton .I hope they are on the side of Fr. Altman . If not so will send my Bishops Annual Appeal money to a Bishop that does support this God Sent Pastor .

Both Fr James and Fr Mark have been what helps me see through the fog of these other questionable Priests. At one point I thought I was leaving but they helped me understand the right choice is to stay and im so happy I did but I will support these two priests and the ones like them to my last breath
You hit the nail on the head, Fr. Mark--Fr. James Altman IS a "breath of fresh air"! I stayed away from the RCC for 35+ years, because of the junk that was going on, even in my parish. I wasn't getting spiritually fed, so I left. I learned a lot from the non-denominational churches who preached right out of the Bible. It wasn't years lost, that's for sure, nor did it hurt my relationship with Christ; it actually made me closer to Jesus. But the Lord had a plan, and He knew I told Him I would not go back until He started weeding out the filth, and get some really good priests to preach the Word of God, and speak the truth, even if it meant to call out their own to repent. THAT is exactly what I heard from Fr. James, and Archbishop Vigano, and a few others in the clergy, that stand up and speak out! THAT is what the Lord made me discover in this past year, as He was slowly working on my heart to go back. It's because of priests like Fr. James, and even the TLM that I absolutely love, that has brought me back to the Church. May God continue to protect Fr. Altman and all the others who speak out so boldly for the cause of Christ, and the truth of His Word! May God continue to raise up more good men like him, and bring the Church back to honoring the Lord God Almighty!🙏🙌
