So am I .. I am from Hungary and trying to ask people there to pray for him as well . May the Spirit of God touch all of us before the evil elements in the Church hierarchy destroy for what our Lord gave His life .
His heart is in the right place. I pray for him as well. The priest that was the head of my church for over a decade in the 80s and 90s molested several boys, one being a friend of mine. He was defended by the church and never paid for his crimes, yet a Bishop can do what he’s doing to Fr. Altman? I don’t understand. I’m not a huge fan of his, but as I said before, his heart is in the right place. I will continue to pray for him.

He didn't raise the money-- his parishioners and LifeSite News initiated the fundraisers. His parish family in Wisconsin loves him so much as does his worldwide family!
Not only that, Father Altman, even as he is being kicked out of his parish and forcibly severed from his flock, he is donating $12k or $15k he unexpectedly earned from royalties from co-authoring a book, to St. James the Less so that they can install a handicapped ramp. Also, Fr. Altman is using some of the money from the two fundraisers to give financial support to other cancelled priests such as Fr. James Parker--another holy priest.

@@debrasaints3809 Canon lawyers are subject to the authority of the pope, as is Canon Law. The chances of Fr. Altman's case being overturned by Francis are zero, and that's a good thing, since Fr. Altman's teaching (on some issues - voting, conscience, hell, mortal sin) are erroneous which is easily shown. Pretty amazing that Fr. James essentially won the equivalent a lottery though.

It’s an hour long interview. This fundraising endowment campaign needs to keep growing. I fear more Priests will be persecuted and this endowment will serve them in gratitude for their boldness and strength.

Yes, God bless all the holy, faithful priests who refuse to compromise and still speak the truth. Our souls are eternal! I want to go to heaven, and I want my friends and family to be there, too! But, so many, so called Catholics, think they can pick and choose what they believe in. Our faith and the Bible teach us that God’s word is truth and His truth is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. The devil is truly working hard to sway us away from God. We must pray hard for our priests to be strong defenders of the truth. God bless them, and us.

When they get in trouble for preaching the truth, we all need to stand up together with them and speak out. The Catholics who do not like the truth tend to be vociferous with bishops yet, very few if at all Catholics who stand for the truth write to bishops with words of support for their faithful priests.
I am so very upset and angered by his Bishops actions. Truth, TRUTH ! That is what they are holding against this Priest. Fr Altman goal is to save souls from eternal damnation And to strip him of his faculties is persecution.
Very upsetting, plus his parents live with him in the rectory so he has to move them and they are in their 90’s. 🙏 He said he felt peace but, he literally calls his parish his family must be so difficult he said if I have to be martyred to make it to Heaven that is fine too. They using him as an example. We need to pray for our priests and support them.

We his flock are heartbroken yet Bishop Malloy refuses to talk to us about why he took him out of active ministry. It appears it is because he is a traditional priest who preaches the truth. My country has been occupied by communists for half a century and we know that even bishops aren't imune to corruption. The Franciscan order has been really tough on communists and hated by government, bishops, domestic and foreign secret services etc. But the people supported Francisan brothers and sisters. History remembers those who gave it all to fight for Jesus' true message, those who were politically incorrect, who didn't bend to aggressive communists. History gives us so many lessons to learn from, yet people still do what's wrong. God already won and we all know how this will end. Therefor, don't bend to the mob, don't become politically correct, if you have to then suffer ... but you can be in peace because you have no idea how God and every soul in Heaven sees and loves you!

We support father Altman, and pray for him daily. What the bishop has done, is clearly unjust, but he will have to answer to a greater judge than any of us. I think we should pray for the bishop as well.

I agree with 99% of What you say but plaese explain me why I should be supporting someone like Fr Altam who disobeys while Saint Padre Pio instead of standing up for his truth he kneeled and obeyed and prayed in silence. As for Fr Altman, l have listened to him speak and l don't find him controversial but rather truthful and courageous. l find him to be a prophetic voice, raised by God for such a time as this. Reading the messages of the biblical prophets, including St John the Baptist, l am sure that many at that time found them to be a little "rough around the edges''. That, l believe, is part of the natural make-up of the prophet. They are not mealy mouthed! Prophets - not the false prophets so evident in the hierarchy of the church today- are desperately needed in the church. I choose to support Fr Altman both spiritually and materially...and all 'cancelled priests'... because they speak for me and l am truly grateful for their courageous voice of protest against the luke- warm hierarchy. The truths of Catholic doctrine need to be preached and Fr Altman, and all faithful priests are doing just that, praise be to God! ❤️🙏

I cannot believe I'm living in these times of persecution and I am praying that God gives me the courage to stand firm in faith and speak out against this tyranny. I joined the catholic church because of the sacred sacraments that the church's foundation was and is...now they want to go and change it...it is just so crazy yet it is written in the bible this would happen. I just never thought this would b happening right now. Thank you for showing us and teaching us The Way!

Many thanks Father! Please stand with us for speaking the truth. Christ Jesus is the truth and the light. But now bishops and some priests who persecuted those who speaks the truth.
The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few as Catholic Bishops want to have fewer laborers ruining the Church.
How to fight back, in my humble opinion:
1. Pray, go to church regularly, re-discover your faith. 2
2. Vote, vote pro life. Get involved in politics.
3. Teach your children the beauties of the faith.
4. Pray the Rosary daily.
Everything else is detail.
And as much as you can pray in Latin, the devil hates this language, remember the inscription on the cross was in Latin, Hebrew and Greek ( I was reminded recently) the 3 languages used in the TLM.
Thank you, Fr Mark, for bringing attention to the crisis in the church that is exhibited as weakness, lawlessness & depravity of the Bishops & Priests who knowingly pervert the Lord’s teachings & persecute the true Shepard priests who remain Faithful to Our Lord & their calling! This is a critical moment in Church history. Father Altman is truly gifted & blessed in understanding the entire situation-he can strengthen & help other suffering, persecuted priests. There are very few good Shepards in the Catholic world, most are Cowards and some are afraid . Those that are afraid because of consequences, keep the fight for the Lord but the cowards, sit and do nothing. COWARDS will be judged in the end, I pray for their souls.
