The static electricity will be created only when the sand starts to bounces of due to air because that creates the action of knocking or pushing roughly against a rough surface. A stationary sand will be have no charge. So the attraction is only due to gravity.

Nice video brother. I am appreciating the effort to explain these things in tamil. Lots of people will learn. Brother I am challenging you that we are measuring only weight on weighing machine. Weight depends on the planet. We have less weight on moon. Mass is constant and it is independent of the location. If we are in space we will be floating. At that time our weight is zero. But definitely we have mass. Because mass is the amount of matter. We cant measure mass directly. W=mg. W- weight, m=mass, g=acceleration due to gravity. We can measure only weight. Weight is nothing but the force exerted on earth due to gravity.
We are measuring the weight but the weight is converted to equivalent mass which is displayed on the display scale...
