Thank you, and I have to admit... it was pretty fantastic to spend time on the road again like this. Easy to forget how much it means when you do it all the time, but stay away for a couple of months and you understand that this is so much more than just a hobby

Indeed we have Hestad, another reason to find something that we can use to travel around it together. A old Ural with a sidecarrige ? that could be painful 🙈

I will never quit Motorcycling, but I will add some other adventures because the motorcycle season up here is only 6 months (give or take) I just hope that this will not scare the motorcycle people away 🔥

So many of my regular followers "demand" episodes as well, so I will try to edit it like a full video, but release episodes as I go on and make enough content for it. But it all will be a "full movie" when it's done. Hope that is fine 🎥
@@tshansen I like the episodes, don't get me wrong, but it's so enjoyable that 12min feels like 2! Also, some of those roads and places brings me back memories (1'58", after Stegastein, I camped on that small caravan park near the corner because the road was closed at 1am). Great video Thomas. You don't have to say much for it to be good. I like how you can just set up camp in a rest spot at the side of the road. You'd probably wake up in a set of hand cuffs....or maybe bear food here if you did that. Looks like our winter is coming along now. 😁
Thank you Shayne! I always struggle to know how much I should talk or how little. Sometimes I feel like there can be to much music and scenery? that I should add more of a verbal story into it all. But somehow I feel like a lot of the trip is what you make it to yourself. Let you as a viewer choose the story, not me telling you. Still has a lot to learn around this aspect of video making.

Yeah, but some of the season just washed away.Like there was so many roads that just was flooded or closed. Made so much of the season not work.
@@tshansen That's a good point, the floods was really bad. I remember getting home from some TET-riding and one week later several places I visited was totally flooded. Sad stuff..

Hahaha, thank you Ricard 🙌🏻 The west and middle part of the south Norway is incredible. Even I, who live here get use to it, or kinda forget how nice it is until I ride there again. Aurlandsfjellet is just such a nice mountain pass. The Autumn is here, and we even get snow in the mountains already. Looks like there won't be much motorcycle riding left this year, but I'm not complaining this year. More time to travel in the new camper 🤩

@@tshansen That's good news, Thomas. We have a wonderful autumn, and usually we can ride in November and December - depending on the salt on roads getting towards the tracks. It's trickier in January and February, this year even in March - too much salt. Happy days, Günter
Norway is one of the most beautiful Countrys, wanna drive there next year hopefully i can find someone to travel with, alone such a big trip is abit scary, thanks for your amazing Video.
Norway is truly something else, and something everyone should visit once or twice in their life. Tell me why you think such a big trip is scary? would love to hear what you thoughts are, since I'm traveling alone myself all the time. Maybe I can assure you that this is no problem. Cheers
@@tshansen first of all , if something happen your on ur own at all and in wilderness or far away from civilization especially when theres issues with ur bike can be disturbing, also i noticed last year in sweden i saw alot wild animals norway also has , with 2 person personally gives me a better feeling hanging in my hammock or tent. Being alone for a longer time isnt the problem for me, i would say i love it, but still with someone else makes me feel better so far away from home. Never done such a big trip alone yet.

Looking forward to this series! Outstanding quality as we have come to expect from you. I took a similar route earlier this summer. Curious to see where you ended up in Latvia. I really hope you found some of the treasures this country has in store. The sandy forests was really not crowded when i went. Met only three other riders total in Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
Thank you Pål. I'm trying to be consistent and learn new things for each production. And keeping the quality high is one of the aspects I really enjoy about this. We only explored some of the local areas around Ventspils, because there is where the event was taking place. But we both agree that we have to go back and see much more of this country at a later time. Really impressed by the culture and people over there.

Haha, yeah it is crazy how bad this summer and start of the fall has been. Extremely poor weather and not much fun being a motorcycle rider.

Your videos are like a Masters class in video production! I always learn a lot, but often wonder why I even post my own 😆 For me (and I'm sure for you too!!) it's the fun of being creative and sharing my experiences on the bikes.....I just wish it wasn't taking me so long to even get remotely close to where you are. Don't get me wrong, there's no comparison, but you give us all hope that just maybe we can get as good as you......someday!
Well, thank you so much for the nice compliment 👏🏻🤩 i sound like a broken record, but i really do appreciate it. When it comes to video production it comes down to practise and the willingness to learn from earlier videos. Always try to learn something new, always be self critical and rewatch your own work to see what you did “wrong” before. Just take a look at my first videos. It was absolutely rubbish compared to what i make today. But the better you get at editing, the better you train yourself to what to look for when shooting, how to make a story with the footage and just what works and what does not work. It takes time and baby steps each week. But you have to be willing to learn and put in insane amount of hours. Not everyone has that luxury. ☺️ Everyone can get to my level and far better than that if they want. Just spend time at it. 🔥

So far I have not mixed any of my personal life into my video workflow on UA-cam, but I get a lot of request about it. I have thought about it many times, but never found the "right" way to do so (if that makes sense?) So you're in the fireservice as well 👏🏻 What country are you from? NL?

Hello Brett... nice to be back 🤩 I used the old windslayers from my GoPro hero 7, just slightly modified them. They are just a tiny bit too large, but I make it work with the rubber band around the lense holding the foam away from falling in front of the camera.
