    Thank you for the Berghia warning on this, I just spent a bunch on berghia for my tank so looks like as always patience is key

    So if I have a monster aiptasia chilling on an overhang, I can squirt some F-aip on a bit of epoxy and just cover the whole dang thing with it?

    Have you guys always carried this? I just got Joe's Juice or Apitasia Away afew weeks back and now I wish I had waited. Ill probably grab some either way, thanks for the tips, I'm about to remove some coral with some from QT and I try to just remove the entire plug and do it outside of the tank, less worries of what it'll do inside my main tank. I tried the Berghia, and not clear if it was the size of my tank, but because of my flow they pretty much stayed on 1 side of the tank and then never left.

    I was just about ready to order some peppermints and a filefish! My dilemma is I have a coral or spotted hawkfish so I was also thinking of removing him to my 20 gallon for a while until the aptasia was gone! This sounds like a much easier and less expensive plan! Do you think this alone will work. I have about 30 plus in a 36 gallon! What is the expoxy mix you put down on overhangs? It looks like a clear stuff then purple. Is the purple that putty stuff that comes in a long stick? What is the clear stuff? Do you sell it on brs. Be specific please as I am just about ready to make an order! Thanks!

    What if the aiptasias are in the sand bed will it kill them off properly

    • @BRStv
      @BRStv  2 роки тому

      If they're in the sand bed, my first plan of attack would be to try to siphon them out. Depending on the depth of your sand bed, your results may vary when using F-Aiptasia.

  • @maokinus
    @maokinus 3 роки тому

    Does it work for aiptasia in the sand?

    • @BRStv
      @BRStv  3 роки тому

      Unfortunately not quite as well as it does on the rockwork. If you can remove the sand around the aiptasia, you'll have better luck. Of course, that's easier said than done if you have a deep sandbed.

    • @equidreams
      @equidreams 3 роки тому

      If the aiptasia isn't sticking out from the zoa stems and you have a sliver of room, can you try slipping a small piece of plastic between them until the crust hardens? Like trim a bit of plastic off a soda bottle and use it as a shield?
