More or less ya, unfortunately. But its only the chassis leg ahead of the front wheel tub so nothing majorly structural and its more of modified rail, rather than a "hack" i just haven't got to the build back up stage yet... but more to come on this build in the future for sure, including an engine refresh!! Thanks for watching and appreciate the support!! Cheers!!
@@MysteryGarage you know I was going to ask you about this MSD as I have mine installed and seem to have a slight misfire. I see your order in plugs are different from mine. So can you point me which way these are to be wired? I went off an image on google to wire them at bottom
Great vid man...Can't wait to see that Berg Cup Kit on this beast! Any idea what kind of power these Supercharger kits add? Also, have you changed any of the internals? Cams, head work ect?
ThePopcyclePete THANKS!! Stage ll Kit claims 280hp/250ftlbs but we’ll have to see. One day I’ll get it on the dyno, well atleast that’s the plan. Currently no internal changes, but definitely a plan for rebuild
may I ask where you found this kit I have a 1999 gti vr6 12v mk4 and I want to supercharge it but everytime I try and find anything I cant cause well its a 20+ year old car ahhaha
Sure I actually found this one second hand on a Mk3 but it is a kit from VF engineering, great kit! Not sure if it’s something still stocked or if they have moved on but worth giving them a peek! Thanks for watching, appreciate the support! Cheers
Keith Hache ah ya, can’t forget these cars are 40yrs old now, rust in these cars is bound to start showing itself when they’ve been used as daily drivers all these years. Obviously some worse than others. Cheers!
Ooooo supercharged or turbo…? I can imagine it’s supercharged based on the boost numbers, I would highly recommend one that was/is supplied with the kit as the kit would be engineered as a whole. I made that same mistake in my early attempts and going to the kit chip, fixed a lot of my issues. Appreciate the watch and thanks so much for the support!! Cheers
Currently the red 30lb with the kit, going to try a 42lb software upgrade, see where that gets me!! Appreciate the watch and thanks for the support! Cheers!!
@@MysteryGarage Thought so :D On the previous video saw the jetta and cabrio title, thought you maybe bought a jetta as well, not just the parts cabby :D
why a supercharger in a golf mk1 and why on a vr6 car too light for a charger vr6 the sound that's what it's about and the number of horsepower for a wave is already tired of the regular block I don't understand why people always screw up just like putting an open filter on it vr6 sound killer we call it
Can't wait for part 2
Do you remember the belt size by Chance being non ac non ps would help a ton!!!! Thank you 🙏
I keep going back to this video. What model is the fuel pressure gauge u have? Are those fuel lines aftermarket? where do u get them? thanks!
So sad to see 😢 but in the end it will all be worth it 👍🏼 Can’t wait for part 2.
euromess just look away during the cutting scenes lol, Trust me, like you said it will all be worth it!!
Mystery Garage I have faith brotha 👍🏼
I really like your fuel hose setup into and out of the rail. Can you tell me more about it. Thanks, good luck with your builds
Rabbit Caddy CITI
Make sure you get the aluminum 6mm honeycomb insert for the 4” maf housing to straighten the air over the maf.
I just bought a used vf v-3kit for my vr6. It came with a maf voltage clamp and I noticed in your video you didn't mention one. Is it not needed?
Get it buddy!
Hahaha thanks man, appreciate the support!! And thanks for watching!
Some day I wanna supercharge my mk3 gti vr6. My uncle used to have a supercharged Jetta
Hi what is the belt number you bought? I’m currently looking for part number? I don’t run PS or AC Either
i am running this kit on an ABA in my MK1, i altered the bracket itself to drop the S/C lower and not cut into the frame
Amazing!!! Love it! Bet it’s a ripper too! Appreciate the support and thanks for watching! Cheers
heat gun or torch for the seam sealer on the front fender. dig thru to the bolts and then the rest.
Absolutely! Cheers!
Wat type of supercharger
Hey I have a 12v with vf supercharger what tunig are u running
Hey - what are the specs on that fuel line? Thanks!
I'd like to know too
So you have to hack the frame rail for it to fit?

Junk VWs just keywords to attract people searching similar content for either jettas, or caddy’s.
