Super fuels are another story, of course.
@@wmtarr886 nah South Africa isn't about just performance , go look at the most popular cars here , it's all cars that produce amazing sound , electric cars are good as a grocery getter an everyday car , marketing it as a performance car just doesn't fit well with me and the vast majority of South Africans , no real car enthusiast will ever buy an electric car over a combustion car especially when you can buy every legendary south african staple car for the price of an electric car you can buy a VR6 a BMW E30 , a Opel Superboss you can buy a VVL or a Vtec and so on , it's not all about performance , also the engineering behind a combustion engine is way more interesting way more complicated everything has a purpose everything has to work together and also you can fill the petrol tank far faster then any electric car , so please South Africans that buy electric cars is only gonna be super rich people and people that has enough money to use an Electric car as a grocery getter and have their combustion Engines at home nobody besides rich people will only have electric cars

My favorite two engines small car is a Honda CRX approximately the late 90s? It's got the standard stock front engine still working and a blown Oldsmobile 455 in the rear. They both work independently. Sometimes all he has to do is start up the rear engine and the race is over. Really cool solution to keeping the car streetable

I've said before, I'm here for the stories not the reviews, I'm a few seconds in and I've got a one-eyed guy with a two engine golf, of course I'm going to watch the whole craziness of the story ! crazy car, as the gentleman says @ ~8:30 more than enough power for a little car, never mind the complexities of two clutches (if I understand the way things work correctly); I also like the fact the guy can talk in his car, so often someone makes a car that is special but it is useless in any social sense and demands earphones to say hello to a lady, etc.
@Nico you mean a Beetle with an extra engine in front ? I don't remember that, that isn't to say no-one was nuts enough to try it in the 1960's or 1970's. Apartheid made some weird developments.

You right,but cooking system is easy,as long there is an Engine obviously both outlets are there to connect radiator Lower /inlet and upper/outlet tubes.
What's the 1/4 mile and 0-100kh times. Would be much better with this info to see if all the power actually gets multiplied. Theoretically should be running Mk8R with this setup. Basically 6L, V12, Twin Turbo

Yes that is correct. Two gearboxes with both clutches connected to the same gear linkage, but the rear engine can be disconnected when not needed. Mad!

When I built a Mk1 VR6 in 2009 it was promptly impounded by a very racist Inspector Snodgrass and I was made to sell it in parts and deregister it. Now since Jamie Orr made a huge sensation here with the Mk1 R36 a few years ago, they are popping up a dime a dozen 😅 Congrats to Mnr Jacobus on making this very complex build seem so easy 💯
