@@mrinmayrayya1199 there are 2 types of Fraud one is SIM transfer using some USSD Code & Sim number which they do over phone & other 1 is new Sim using stolen id, for new sim using stolen id they might have some setting with shop owner or Customer care using which they allow to replace without original ID & in person verification verification
@@AkashPatel24 do you mean first one is that using ussd code of particular Sim which is belong to victim (i.e airtel ,vodafone or other else) and 20 digits of that sim card number which is required to swap the card
operators should be more strict in issuing duplicate sim to stop sim swap fraud. Last month I myself issued a duplicate sim for my bsnl no as I wanted a nano sim for my new phone and I noticed the office executive only asked for a xerox of aadhar, they even didn't ask me the purpose of issuing duplicate sim and within one hour my new sim got activated.
But due to aadhar card finger print scan it's not possible to issue new sim by strangers.
