Thank you! We have swords made according to our historical finds. Its weight is aprox 1,5kg-1,7kg. And yes, sword should feel heavy on its tip. Very good observation sire!👌
Awesome, love to see it! I always think its funny how much people think a sword *must* be weighted towards the hilt or its "poorly balanced". Some of the most interesting parts of swordplay come from working with the momentum of the blade.@@fencersguild-guildamgladia2485
Isn't the Zornhaw mainly used to create a bind?... As for me it looks pointless to attack with it, cuz of the looooooooooooong journey that ur blade takes before hit the target. literally EVERYONE would have time to react to this. I'm not the greatest master, but I study Liechtenauer fencing style and idk what to think about what I see :D

@@fencersguild-guildamgladia2485 The original comment was kind of harsh, but seriously, pause the video at 00:37 and ask yourself, "Is my initial strike a threat the defender even need respond to?". You made room for the second strike artificially. If you did this at a tournament some newb would probably stab you through the chest and think they had just executed a perfect shielhau.
