I drafted 2x Prince Malchezaar a few weeks ago (before changes). When it hit, I demolished opponents, when it missed, it was rough. Was always fun to watch them realize I added 10x legionaries to my deck though!

Yea! I was thinking there cannot be a better moment to use the new card than that, heal the 5/3 for 2 dmg and then pass. Not great for tempo but it would have been a super cool moment.

It's been a long time since I've watched Kripp's videos. The new camera setup is really weird! The background has a softer focus, and it's at a full 60 fps! It looks good, but really different!

Ok So I had a run with 5 Blizzards, 2 Flamestrikes, 2 Firelands, Dragoncaller Alanna on top of that and N'zoth plus Soggoth. At 11-2 I encountered a Paladin with Y'shaarj, Ysera, Tyrion and Hogger (the 7mana one), plus 2 Spikeridged Steeds. Oh man Arena is crazy right now :D

The only thing about Kripp's point is that it was meant to allow people who dont have all the good cards to try them out and see if they wanna try and get them. Kripp is in a problematic position hiself in that he isn't the norm. He has all the cards. Most dont.

Just drafted a naughty Paladin deck. It has Ragnaros, Tirion, Captain Greenskin, Y'Shaarj and Valanyr. I felt so bad that i didn't even wanna play it

Defile definitely clears at 6:40
There are zero scenarios where defile fully clears the board
I'm struggling with this one myself. Someone's gonna have to explain how defile actually clears this.
The hardest defile i can think of is one where the lich king survives with one health --> ram the 3/2 into the Lich.
Ram one 2/2 into the enemy 3/3. now the Defile will: 1 Damage, kills the now 3/1, then it will kill your last 2/2, then it will kill the sunshire clerk doing an overall 4 damage to the lich.
Wow and here I am with my 59.8 point Warlock deck. Seems fair.
Arena is insane now. I had what I thought was an amazing deck and I only won 3 games!
I got 6 legendaries in my first draft of new arena. Ended up going 0/3. The rest of the deck couldn’t really tie it all together.
Edit: and one of those picks could have been Malchezaar (I didn’t pick him though), so I could have had 1/3 of my deck be legendary.

In my 12-1 warrior run i went up against a paladin at 11 wins who played 3 steeds and then Lynessa! Well, i won though :D
I had 6 actual legendaries. Went like 5/3. Arena is actually better than constructed because you can have multiple copies of one legendary.

Here's a thing if its in 9% of what kripp faces then it can be under 1% of all decks. Remember survivor bias. Most games Kripp plays is against players with more wins than losses, and then are the snipers that increases the quality of decks facing him also. When you play in ranks which less than 3% of arena runs get to you probably face insane decks.
Yesterday I drafted a Krulzakus and some good demons, imagine it with Gul'Dan. 10 wins, new arena is pretty fun.
Did you though? Because DK cards are still banned last I checked.

yesterday I drafted 2 ragnaros lightlords, sunkeeper tarim and tirion and only got 8 wins after losing to double emerald reaver off of infest (cast by Yogg) and un-goro pack

in 3 runs i played 20 mages 1 hunter and 1 priest. every mage had flamestrike fireballs and pyroblast and each one had an ice block i shit you not.

Arena's gotten crazy, no matter what legendaries you have, you still get smashed.
Yesterday, I played Deck of Wonders and LITERALLY the first draw was Deck of Wonder Spell = Cataclysm. Discarded a Death Wing(The Basic one), Flamelands-Portal, Water Elemental and a few other pretty good cards. Needless to say, I lost that game easily. RNG sucks :(

It wasn't their rng, it was YOUR rng. You played the card, therefore your rng. Deck of wonders is a bad card in any deck. It's meant to be used for fun, not for actually winning.

Nah, I meant like tell that their RNG when they play it ^^ Besides, the other options were really crappy, so I had to take it. At any rate, arena is crazy at the moment and even leaving my own bad luck out of the equasion right now, it's more luck than ever involved~
I drafted a mage with 2 fireballs, 4 firelands portals, 5 blizzards and 2 flamestrikes.
Shit, I went back randomly to x1 speed after some years listening to him at x1.5, legitimately thought it was slowed. Didn't remember how freakin slow he talks

Lol really ? Just try again from the begining, i don't see nothing wrong with the talking speed. There are plenty of people talking at that speed. I don't mean it's average obviously, but not abnormal, and i'm doing it cause i watch a lot of hs vids, and he is on one hand really slow to talk and on the other hand, hs games are also slow too concerning animation and such so i find it better to watch on 1.5. I slow it down when i don't uderstand something i want to hear back
