I'm finding it very difficult to get it to create a level line. Even in your demo, the self-levelling mode didn't create a level line against your wall, even though the button was on green.
I haven't used mine in a while. I need to double check that because I don't remember it being off or why it was.
@@therenodummy I used it the other day and assumed the lines I had marked were level. I went to check them and they are conpletely out. I tried to use it again, being careful to keep the top button in green. I just could not get it to generate level lines.
I cant find an amswer to this, ill try to be brief. I dont need a level line. I need a straight one, projected on the floor. Part of my job is setting up and breaking down furniture for large events. Hundreds of chairs, tables, etc lined up by eye. One or two of these, producting a straight line on the floor would make things a lot faster. Everythibg so far shows it and similar tools being used on walls. Any help?
I don't see why you couldnt angle this one down and project onto the floor. I'm not sure how far it'll go on the floor though.
Is it possible to have only the horizontal or vertical beam switched on please i.e. not both together?
There's not a way to only have one on.
do you have a video of actually using this level to do the ceiling install?
I didn't record myself putting in a drop ceiling since it was my first time and would have been a crap show. But the room had a fan that was mounted in the middle of the room . I sat the level on top of the fan and just propped it up until it was the height I wanted.

same. Mine wont go back to self level mode and it's not level. Completely useless. I guess that's in the name, eventually it's as useful as a rock when it comes to leveling something.
Yes, that's my finding too. Total waste of money.
