@@jiminomega hmm. i don't think the necklace is real, i think the necklace is a symbol/representation of her parents' affection. like, her parents aren't giving her any attention, with top of class, in a cute dress, everything, and while it didn't matter before, she feels the 'necklace' choking her now. also, you said compliments aren't enough? no, i feel that was the parents.. telling her 'it's not enough', yet she 'won't let go'. the reason she wants attention, is she never got it. her parents were not giving her anything, so she turned to confessing her love to someone in the courtyard, as maybe a boy could give her the attention?
