after flying both high wing [cessnas] and low wing pipers for over 40 years my preference is the high wing aircraft . reason being it’s protected from the elements [hot sun and some where to stand when raining , landing on off road conditions ,no damage to wing or lower fuselage . Easier to inspect wheels and brakes plus so much easier to load. You can’t bring in emotional reasons for purchasing any aircraft as emotions change . While it was great flying the Piper Dakota, it was like flying a little fighter but the lack of airflow in the cabin and climbing over a hot wing ,not nice . People always stood on the seats even when you asked them not to. Ingress and egress into the cabin was a pain. Not having to stand on the flap was an issue with a lot of non aviation passengers. I found the high wing had inbuilt stability also.
Same. Visibility in a turn is something I hadn’t thought about, but the view the rest of the time and the ease of entry keep the high wing on my watch list.
Well I’m not a famous UA-camr so nobody writes the checks for me. If you gave me a HW I’d take it. If I wanted to dangle I’d be Forrest Gump. So my money is low wing all the way. Get that Grumman Grin. Just like Maverick.
Josh is the best, always kept me engaged in aviation with his videos!!!

That was good viewing and great fun. 😊 Thanks! 😃

Both planes are great BUT i think tailwheel versions of each would be better....😊
My heart goes to HW, but my younger self goes to the tsi.
