    Than you for posting, I have been flying for 45 years and can honestly say I have never tired of the privilege, every time one looks out he window there is something different the landscape or cloudscape, the water. It matters not whether one is at Flight Level 420 or Stooging around at 800' the magic is always there, for me anyway.

      45 years of flying is an incredible achievement! I agree that flying has been and will continue to be something that I cherish and I pray to God that I can do it for as long as I am able.     Watching a video like this is the only time I feel sad that I live in FL. Cruising around terrain like that in a cub-type aircraft is a dream for me!

      @ I’m just n the initial stages of planning a big XC in my RV once she gets out of annual. Have remained in the southeast for my first months of ownership, but I’m looking forward to a wild journey!
      I’ve never really done any low scenic flying. My mind is always on my engine. I’m sure comfort and confidence will come with time.

      @ there’s definitely the obvious risks and I try to always have an emergency landing plan.
      There are quite a few RVs at my airport and I marvel at how quick and fast they are!

    This was absolutely a really enjoyable video, a great explanation of how I feel when I'm on a motorcycle, flowing through the backroads, sliding the corners, seeing the views, solo, just me, myself and the wilderness. Great video, amazing views, and I really want to see you be successful in this new endeavor.

      @@2ShoesPhoto I’m so glad you enjoyed it. There’s something so peaceful about being completely immersed in the now and things like ripping through the backcountry in a motorcycle or flying low and slow are perfect to invoke that state of flow.

      Hi, Joe! I am extremely grateful to live in such a beautiful place and for the opportunity to fly here. Also, people have been telling me to get a glider license! They say nothing makes a pilot more than a glider.

      @Brokepilotclub for sure! If you're interested in gliders I'm your guy! There's a few locations up in the pnw. I have been up there a lot but never got the chance to soar up there. With the mountains you can definitely get some great flying in the summer, but you know the winter is another story 😂 🌧️

      @ yes sir my parents had it since the early 80s. We talked to see plane training out in Southern California, I did a $80,000 restoration a few years back and I live in East Texas. I love it. I have the floats in the hanger.!

      @ if I could find a place to keep it, weather around here can get crazy, they are not amphibious, my plane is on one of the flying doodles episode from Recklaw with my Daughter in it, you ever get our way let’s fly!

    The Taylorcraft is the perfect budget time builder. Outruns a cub, outclimbs a cub, and cheaper than a cub. 😉 I live in Monroe WA, let me know if you want to do a cub & Taylorcraft flight sometime.

    I have an a-65 in my taylorcraft your right on sipping gas. Full out im averaging 4.25 gph and if i am goong cub speeds i can get as good as 2.88 gph ;)
