I really don't see any limitations to the bike about the same width as a regular bike and way more comfortable wished I would have done it years ago. I see lots of advantages.
I have had back surgery. I have a road cycle, a gravel bike and a CaTrike Expedition. You need to experience a recumbent to explain it. It is like....intense cardio is good, but sometimes a walk is therapeutic, and you can get almost as good of a work out in. I also prefer a Trike when it is colder and there is a frost and leaves on the ground. Also, you can dress bulkier and deal with the cold better and not have to worry about taking a spill.
It gets lots of riding but some times it is nice to get a bit further from home. And the wife likes to ride on bike trails and there's none close to us.
Thanks for telling us about your Expedition. I’ll have to do a test ride at my local dealer sometime. Happy riding!
Sure You are welcome
Nice trike! I bet it's fun to ride.
Oh yeah I really enjoy it.
I have a Catrike Expedition as well.
Fluorescent yellow "Firefly Recumbent Trike Aventures."
Great Trike!
That's cool. I'll have to check it out.
Do you have balance issues? Why choose to deal with all the limitations of a trike if not?
