I've been wanting to do a 76 f100 on a Vic frame for my stepdad for years, but never had the time, or space to do it. After he took in my brother and I, when he and my mom got together, he started working so much to support us, that he didn't have time to maintain his 76 F100 or his 90 Fox body(that I learned how to drive in), so it got worse and worse until he gave it to a family friend. He bought his F100 brand new when he was in the army, and had it forever. I have never been able to thank him for everything he did for us, and I think building this truck for him would be an awesome way to say thank you. Your video is inspirational to someone like me, who also just has a garage, and basic tools, and a welder. I think I am going to start the search for a body and a Crown Vic soon, and get to work on this in between deployments. Thank you for sharing your build, and I hope to see more soon! As for the format, I think taking each section, and making a short video about it with tips and tricks along the way is my preference. something along the lines of pulling the front end in one video, cab in a video, boxing in the frame in another one. Also, I love that you and your kid are doing these together. My daughter loves helping me with my projects, and will be helping with this one.
I appreciate the feed back... it was one of the main points I was trying to show that anyone could do one of these builds without all the fancy tools. Having my son helping along on it was one of the best parts. We was building the blue one to surprise my oldest son with it he is in the military in the Marines but he couldn't come home because of COVID-19 so it was over FaceTIme. You mentioned deployment what branch are you in? also tell your stepdad thanks for his service. When you decide to do the build be prepared for a lot of long days and nights we have 176hr into the blue. But having your daughter there helping and then surprising your stepdad with it will make it all worth it. so best of luck on the build if you ever have any questions during it reach back out to me i'll gladly help you out where I can.
@@HollerBoysGarage thanks for the reply. The whole covid thing definitely has placed a lot of restrictions on us. I'm a navy submarine mechanic. I think one of the things I'll be trying to figure out is how to keep the full bed, or if that is even possible.
Since your asking in the video I’d love a little longer videos and for you to hold the camera horizontally instead of vertically. Maybe take the finished trucks out on the town with your boy. Show where you get the doner cars and all that. Get some Merchandise going with your logo on it all (I’d buy a hat). Can’t wait to see more videos!
Half hour to 50 min r perfect

Hello, just found your channel. Great looking truck! Got an old farm truck. I need to find a Vic. Thanks for the info.
Love the videos. I would like to see the cutting of the firewall and floors of the truck. Job well done!
Watched the blue f100, looking forward to seeing this one. Thinking about doing something similiar.
Octane Monkey thanks appreciate it

Subbed. Love the stuff. I can see this channel growing already!!
With your chassis swap on your blue truck sitting low like that can you turn the wheels to a full turn or just barely turn it ??
The wheel makes the full turn with no scrubbing
