Major undertaking there. Should handle shop truck duties ok payload may suffer but thats fixable. Bet it drives nice.
    Any feedback on your project?
Makes sense to me to sink lots of $ into 60s 70s iron. They are less than a new one and will be running in 50 more years. PLus its got Real USA steel on it not tin can crap.

@@gordocarbo I have about 10000 miles on it now. It’s super fun to drive. It’s comfortable and if I’m careful I can get 22 mpg. I originally got the truck for free. And paid $1800 for the crown Vic. Maybe another $1000-$2000 in parts and interior. I didn’t keep track. Not bad for an old truck I can jump in and drive anywhere. It gets lots of looks and thumbs up.

How did you figure out the best location to mount the cv heater/ ac box?

I pretty much mounted it the only place it would fit. I moved it up and to the passenger side of the firewall as much as I could and I still had a little bit of clearance issues, but was able to grind some material off to get it to fit. On the inside, I only kept as much of the Vic box as I needed and I adapted it to the truck blend box. I’ll try to make a little video showing that later.
