Soooo humble because he realises how intelligently & comedically challenged he is compared to Russell - anyone can play ‘stupid’, especially if they are thus favoured genetically.
I think it's just because it's so different from most interviews, particularly in the US where interviews have to fit quite a strict schedule in terms of ho long questions take
Adam Sandler started out as a stand-up comedian. He had a distinctive "style" that I personally thought was funny, but a lot of people didn't get. It obviously served a purpose though as it got him a gig on an MTV game show (ironically called Remote Control), that led to Saturday Night Live, and then to the movies. He seems to be one of those people that are more comfortable performing in front of a camera or an audience than talking one on one in person.
Wow, such an intelligent and eloquent comment. Your are proof we can evolve from apes. Congratulations! Now for your next feat try to keep the knuckles from dragging at least some of the time.
@@sryburn641 US debut, US A-list association with Adam, Resultant audition for Forgetting Sarah marshall, Resultant US Tours, a marriage to katy perry. A lot stemmed from this with Sandler.
I love all of his eras but someone's now he seems out of his depth, albeit in an extremely charming and verbally persuasive manner. I enjoy watching his journey from being an overpowering junkie as he calls his past self, as much as I enjoy his enlightened living and kind personality now. overall I prefer his current self simply because I have a deep appreciation for him and he seems happy now, or happier anyway and that gratifies me somehow just to know he's in a better place
shoenborg Yes, he is. But since he loves and respects all living and non-living things, thus we are all connected to the core, he joyfully refuses to remove it and doesnt bother with it at all.
I actually first learned about Russel Brand from Bedtime Stories with adam sandler and i was like 9 an ive been a fan ever since lmao the interpretation speech he did when adam got stung by a bee on the tongue was such a good scene
I still remember an interview with Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore and an Aussie TV host Larry Emdur, just after the Wedding Singer was released. One of the only celebrity interviews that has stuck in my mind cos it was so natural and extremely funny .. that was in the late 1990s before the world turned paranoid and we knew how to laugh at ourselves.... Haha Russell is so hyper in this interview - it must be during his party years .. he's much more serious and conservative these days.
Oh my god, I don't know why I ever bother to read UA-cam comment, just miserable people whose opinion is apparently fact. An idea, if you don't like something, perhaps you shouldn't actively seek out videos of it, leaving miserable comments. Go outside, get a hobby, stop trying to spread your nonsense and misery.
About what? You being a hypocrite? No, not really. I've remained indifferent throughout the process. It's your problem, not mine. People do log in to youtube specifically to vent their frustrations with media, to feel like they have a voice. Your rant wasn't any more well thought out than any of theirs and it does turn on itself the moment you mention spreading misery...and the bit about getting a hobby. And so here we are now. I'm free for some more "back-and-forth" if you'd like that hole deeper. To comment on the video, however: it really was one of the worst interviews I've ever seen.
+Jaimee Marshall I think you are right he is sober here if you look at when he was drinking he was a lot less quick witted and handsome and a douche!! Now he is the latter and he's trying to help the world ✌🏼️✌🏼
+Jaimee Marshall there's shows on UA-cam he used to do called re brand there really good, if ur looking for a good watch there is one a liked and its where he meets a member of ukip or something and he destroys all these racists in a beer garden
Was this an interview or was this Russell Brand speaking over Adam Sandler, and moving around the chair like someone who has had a little too much coke.
One thing RB says in the interview is I can't be held responsible for the inter-workings of my own mind. I believed this for most of my life, but it's not true. You can program your mind and affect your thoughts by controlling what you watch, listen to, read and most importantly say! Your subconscious uses all data that you hear, see, touch, smell and taste to suggest answers instantaneously to your conscience mind about problems you face everyday. But what you say has an even more significant roll because your mind believes everything you say to be pure TRUTH. If you say things out load that are negative or destructive especially about yourself, it will assume it is true. Thoughts and spoken words are powerful and change this world and us every time we speak. Choose your words carefully!
I think people are being a little too tough on Adam. Sure he makes crappy, simple films and seems kind of dull, regular American guy next to Brand's manic verbosity but at least he seems like genuine and nice guy and can hear him cracking up throughout the interview, so he obviously gets Brand. Adam just has a more introverted, grounded observant type personality compared to Brand during his drug days (but who doesn't)?
Revelian1982 All I know, is I don't get why someone marked your comment as spam. There were movies he was good in, but even the best ones his style is sedate at best. I hope he isn't a Woody Allen, if he has kids.
Gosh so many trollish opinions commented! Anyway - I especially enjoyed a good crossover of English/American humour as it frequently doesnt seem to translate. Graham Norton, Ricky Gervais and Russell do it very well. I found it pleasing to see Adam so entertained as he's given so much fun in many films over the years. Adore him for 50 First Dates alone! Personally, this made me laugh my butt off.
Especially when there is no such thing!! Brand is English. England is a country you may have heard of as it gave your country a language....ENGLISH 🏴
If you've read Russells autobiography, this is the interview which got him recognised by sandler's talent agency
why do I keep falling for the funniest interview ever line?
I don't know mate but it's the same reason I do...
Don't know about you two... but I keep falling for it for some reason I don't know!
I go for the names and ignore the ever line. like I told my 5 year old, "anytime you use the word ever, always or never you lose all credibility"
or MUST
I want my money back...!
"I can't be held responsible for the workings of my own mind"
I truly, truly connect with and love this quote.
Thank you Russell
Hmm
Adam sandler is soooo humble more actors should be like him
Soooo humble because he realises how intelligently & comedically challenged he is compared to Russell - anyone can play ‘stupid’, especially if they are thus favoured genetically.
adam sandler is like wtf is going on? lol why am I here again
No he is actually having a blast and is shocked at Brand casual behaviour and the stuff he is saying. He liked Brand so much he made a movie with him.
Marisella DavisEsparza what one was it again ? genuinely interested.
Mark Rooney I believe it was "bedtime stories", at least the only movie I remember with both actors in it
I think it's just because it's so different from most interviews, particularly in the US where interviews have to fit quite a strict schedule in terms of ho long questions take
I've been watching Russel Brand interviews all day long I love his sense of humour for god's sake!!!! 🖤😂
Is there a channel or name of the show in youtube

Its Ironic because he was in click or because he's on TV?
@@monkmane2345 I was saying it was ironic because he was later in "Click" (I think...I made that comment 8 years ago). Peace.
The interview that propelled Russell to international fame through getting his break in America from Adam Sandler
Rebel Red yeah, this led to forgetting S Marshall on Sandler’s recommendation to Apatow and also bedtime stories, a happy Gilmore production
@@brabbit3389 happy Madison you tard
Adam in real life seems just a humble down to earth fellow, kind of easy going

רומן צם Congratulations on your intellect
Wow, such an intelligent and eloquent comment. Your are proof we can evolve from apes. Congratulations! Now for your next feat try to keep the knuckles from dragging at least some of the time.
lmao russell is british as fuck and sandler is american as fuck. strange interaction
***** i feel you. ive never seen adam sandller seem so timid before, but russell is intimidating.
Jaimee Marshall lol
Fuck.
You can tell that Adam genuinely found Russell funny
+PixelPerfect28 He probably put in a good word with Disney that got them cast together in Bedtime Stories.
I'm more inclined to believe he liked Russell.....he's not that good of an actor mate
80sKid disagree
That's because Russell Brand is a genius.
At least one person does then.
The 'Have I been drinking milk?' bit is hard not to rewind and watch a dozen times.
Not sure I'd go as far as funniest interview ever, but I appreciate the enthusiasm!
***** I didn't take into account Russell's hair though :-P
I love Russell Brand all you haters just don't get it at all, ignore the act and listen to the words he says, A very intelligent man
this was essentially a job interview for Russel.
For what? Robert Smith’s hair double?
@@sryburn641 US debut, US A-list association with Adam, Resultant audition for Forgetting Sarah marshall, Resultant US Tours, a marriage to katy perry. A lot stemmed from this with Sandler.
@@mnb9162 I was being silly. He’s a brilliant guy. I’m really appreciating his thoughts on things nowadays.
I love the russell brand from that time. His looks are fucking awesome, that hair is so cool, and he was so hilarious at that time.
+Juan P He's serious now and trying to fix things man (:
Tris10 The Christian he's still funny, but he was even funnier then
u sound gay

+shoenborg Lol

I read this in his voice
dedris watch out they just might SHIT on you.... (🐦 bird noises here) chirp chirp
HAHAHHHAHHA
THAT was the real Russell brand.
Uncut Gems...... amazing..
2 comedy legends...
I think the reason Sandler was so awkward is because Russell's brilliant mind intimidates people
I couldn't help but think that too but Sandler was a gentleman and just sat back and let Russell shine and laughed at his jokes. Good on him.

Russell is just on another level, damn
My two favorite men in the world together on stage together! I love them both.....
Is Russell Brand interviewing his guest, or interviewing himself?
+Tehui1974 I think he gets lost in his own mind and forgets what he is ment to be doing
+Tehui1974 Himself I'd say
Himself, this interview is actually what got him noticed. Sandler cast him for "Bedtime Stories."
Just awesome the russell BRAND! Get it :P
I like the sober Russell Brand now a lot better.

Dude was hilarious in Sarah Marshall. Great movie
Adam Sandler is blazed to the face in this interview lol
I certainly wouldn't call that, "the funniest ever!"
rr bernhardt not the funniest ever the funniest ever is having a chins on your neck
OR particularly funny
rr bernhardt Russel
Brand wouldn’t either, but this guy did
both of em. just never stop talkiinggg
Quite a long way from being the funniest interview ever.. Mildly amusing!
There is always one muppet needing to throw some negativity on every video.
“The world is the same” hahahahahahahah
Russell just has the nerve that I wish more men had!!
Its a nerve I wish I had. But we just cant have it all in this world
hahaha "its just language, the worlds the same"
Ali G interviewing Beckhams is the funniest I have found yet, doesn't get anywhere near topping that.
You can't put "Funniest interview ever" on every interview video you upload
David Connolly plus I have definitely seen funnier interviews. It was good but 'funniest ever'... nah
Yeah . Well he just did bozo
Hahahahahahahaha oh man!!! That sure was the funniest video ever!!!! I've never seen anything funnier than this video right here!!!! -_-

He looks like he is playing a movie right there
The title was deceiving. It wasn't the funniest interview ever.

You know your fucked in the head when Adam Sandler looks at you weird.
I kept waiting for the part, but it never came... IT NEVER CAME!!
Gonna see it soon.
I love adam sandler
adam sandler after this interview im gonna do film with guy, and thats how we got bedtime stories!
I went from listening to Last Caress by The Misfits to this…
Thought that was Amy Shamooler stealing Adams soul, and his jokes😂
Adam looks like he does not know what is happening. he's like owww shit. I really agreed to this.
wow robert smith looks so good in this interview
adam is so shy for a former stand up

I saw her attack Adam 😂😂😂
He woulda been a good jack sparrow too

Yes, agreed, absolutely awkward. Although, I do like Adam Sandler.
Whose watching this in 2021?
oh yeah, you scored kate beckisale tubbo
