We love homeschooling. My kids never went to public school. I chose to be a stay at home mom/teacher. We had to make alot of financial changes to make this happen. BTW, homeschooling doesn't have to be expensive or difficult. Everyone does it differently.

My kids are all grown now but if I had young children today there is not a chance on this planet that I would have them in public schools.

I'm started now, my son is being homeschooled after missing school due to medical reasons and covid, he did not thrive online during the pandemic. He is hands on learning with adhd and dyslexia. Pray for me

If there's ever a Time for homeschooling it's now if there's ever a time to protect freedom of speech and freedom of ideas and beliefs it's now I mean the schools are raising our kids up as you just said to be something weird that many of us don't back

Amen my son is being home schooled. Ain't nobody going to pervert my child. You can't even say amen or Praise God anymore in public schools.

My Uncle was an Army doctor that lived abroad while my cousins were schooling, so my Aunt Mary home-schooled them until High School yrs. They were/are the most adventurous and curious and interesting ppl I knew.
To be fair, another cousin that went thru public school in FL has climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and is an internat'l school teacher currently living in Dubai.
Not everyone has the luxury of home schooling their kids
Some family’s have formed co-ops where every family hosts and teaches one class a week.
There are home school associations in all areas of the country to guide you in the best situation for your family.

I (fortunately) did not see teaching of the political progaganda mentioned at the outset here. Didn't really see teaching of much at all. Teachers were so frayed dealing with behavior problems and meltdowns that teaching and learning are an afterthought, as are normal functioning children.

@@Lam321ThisIRecall I guess that would depend on what one is watching since the eye is a lamp 🪔. Truth can still be found in YT and the net. But it won’t be too much longer I think and most of it will be corrupted by AI. I’ve definitely thought about it though since YT, Amazon, Target......promotes the price of the world. @@DedicatedtoYAH Yep there's some good content, but some are leaving/have left because of the restrictions YT is placing on discussions. I was thinking also about how many times I have to say I'm not interested in something, because it's "irrelevant" to me (they don't have a box to describe all the wrong stuff they keep promoting to me) it's tiresome to keep blocking adverts and things that are not fitting for a Christian. I guess I was just wondering if you had a similar experience and whether there's a better way of dealing with it, aside from leaving YT?
@@Lam321ThisIRecall I agree. As of now I feel I can still find good fruit. But a few days ago YT celebrated “tarot card day” which made me think a bit on exactly what you are saying. But it won’t be too much longer and this will be filled with lies. Once that happens or gets closer I’m outta here . It’s like today’s modern market place in a way. Pronouns have specific meanings and uses, and now we’ve allowed people to turn them onto their head.
Except that Pronouns take precedence over nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. Fun fact! Did you know that a Noun can be a personal name? Yep. But the Wokers believe that one's pronouns are more important.
I would like to say that computer learning at home is not true homeschooling-Mom as teacher preparing lessons,testing, and being totally involved in their children's learning is homeschooling. I say it because I did it for 24 years. GOd's grace alone saw me through all those years-it's NOT easy at all and you have to be called to it. I took my kids out of public school when they started teaching "situation ethics". That's what's right for you is right-and you better not judge. Nope-no way,plus no prayer or God mentioned so in 1984 I removed them-got alot of negative feedback,from family too at first,but then my Mom got on board after some years.
I always wanted to be homeschooled. My Mom is so gifted. The teachers never knew as much as she does. I also wanted to be vegan. Now, I get to be vegan and homeschool my daughter. God rules!

I had to read "A People's History" by Zinn in college and it's rewritten history, not history as it actually happened.
