Lefty!!! Get him!!! Just kidding.... Great video, nice that you have it for both right and left handed which covers all players....... Nice video, I will be paying attention to more content from you. Always room for one more guitar instruction channel which teaches how to play it right. Although technically the correct way for this song uses a lot of barre chords, this is a commonly agreed easy strumming version that most people are probably playing who are not part of the band Blind Melon.
Thanks! I made this video early on and I wish had hadn't put "beginners" in the title. This is definitely not a song for you if you've only been playing a week, check out the songs in my "level 1" playlist so you can get better with the basics first.
What strum pattern are you using for the chorus? particularly the D chord on the chorus? also what pattern on the verses? it looks like on the verse you do kind of half chords (or whatever you call it) from E to D, D to A, A to G, G to E. then on the 2nd verse it looks like you play E, A, D longer than on verse 1. the verses really throw me off trying to get right timing from A to G to E to E7. i can do this song a certain way that sounds good, but it isn't as authentic to the original as yours. nice video, by the way.
nicole harding it took me at least 6 months before I was comfortable with the chords. You can't expect to play any easy songs until you're familiar with your chord progressions.
the rithm its so cool, thanks for your lesson dude, keep it up. True legend
Yep, one of the best tutorial vids out there, nice job dude!

I think the E chord should be played with the D shape 2 steps up instead this way
My brain has a hard time with the left hand thing, have to think I’m looking in a mirror for it to work 😅
The strum pattern is not the same
I suck at mewttting
Dont worry just work on it
