Handy way of stacking the bales up high, never seen it done like that with the side ones on edge on the second level, Great video 👍
They should all be on their edge 🤣
If shes not blue she'll not do they sit quite well this way, although you can’t get as many as on their edge. I step them back a bit each time for safety
Tudur Hughes if I had soft hands I’d stack on their edge... just too awarkard with this type
@@tudurhughes1401 if you stack them the way gerry was doing the bottom layer you are actually not legally allowed go more than 1 high, doubt its enforced but I would say in general stacking on their round side is better
If shes not blue she'll not do sorry i actually ment stacking them on theor rounds , we have two mchale bale lifters like gerry they do a great job when you stack all of them on their rounds

That John Deere loader i hardly see anymore
JJ is a gold digger It’s a pity because they won’t have the best loaders ever made.
Is there good grip on those tyres on the 3420 in the wet conditions?
Same as any other tyre once the lugs fill up with earth then your fucked but the grip would be similar to a tractor tyre
Not much differance then a tractor tyre to be honest. Tractor tyre might be little better but these are way better on road and in the yard

Many hours on the 3420 now? I'm looking at one, anything to look out for if buying one?
Just gonna comment here so when gerry replied I get a notification
7500 hours.... not really just check everything’s working. I’d an oil leak required me to take the engine out this year. It was kind of a freak thing and it’s the only big job i ever had to do on it. Everything else was normal wear and tear.... bust pick hoses due to age etc. I’ve never drove a telehandler better then them.
@@gerry6420 what about the front axle? Regular greasing will keep that good I assume, what is your opinion on matbros or have you ever driven one?
If shes not blue she'll not do yes grease them plenty one a month and you’ll have no issues. matbro were a great machine.... Deere bought matbro in 1999 and 32/3400 was a lot based on the.... Deere engine had been fitted and had lots of other up grades. 32/3420 were a step forward again.... with even more Deere upgrades.... even though they looked a little similar to the matbro, Deere had strengthened and made improvements right a across the machine. I believe tgat the 3420 is one of the best telehandlers ever made. I’d love to have seen where they would have gotten to if Deere had continued to make them. They stoped making them due to poor sales as jcb/ manitou had market sown up.... when you see how claas and Kramer have moved well into the market, if Deere has stuck with it they’d have got a good share of market too. It

Didn't do them any harm hed have to be a right animal to rip them like that
grass spec if u rub them off stones you’ll bust bales
All the wraps on the bottom it won’t make any differance on the concrete. Big stones be different story
Why is there play when ya move the trlueportr on the grab the rollers part sway alot our Conor 1 does not 1 bit
Tracey murtagh they nose side to side. It just the way they are designed. Very good in rough ground
