    Why do you stack so high? Wont those lower bales flat out. Atleast we have that problem. And yes we do have really hard and compacted bales. Highest stacks we do is three. More that that will flat out bottom bales and make foil break

    Why so many bales? Would precision chop in a pit not be better. How do you feed it out? If you put all those bales through a diet feeder, it must burn some diesel.

    • @hermanni563
      @hermanni563 6 років тому +3

      killickfarms hi.
      In our farm we make about 800 bales a year, and the reason is that all those bales can be stored where ever you want and do not need to be transported into farm instantly. We have alot of field that have more that 10 kilometers of distance from farm, and its not practical to drive that distance amny times with silagetrailer. Also bales save space and are easy to store on yard or field. Those would be the key points

    • @TheThefarmer311
      @TheThefarmer311  6 років тому +1

      Yes we diet feed the bales and it’s not too sore on diesel
