In my experience, yes. They started to let us in a few minutes before gen pop was let in. Not sure if it’s like that regularly though.

Towards the exit of the ride, near the photo kiosk for the ride. If you ask a team member for the exit or photo kiosk, they will point you to where it is, then you'll see the viewing area.
