Way better than the 2021 movie, even if you don't think this doesn't hold a candle to the originals, which it doesn't. Except for Tom's archive scream from the classic series.

The 2021 movie was even closer to the saturated backgrounds and character animation of these old cartoons, to be honest.

Two special shorts series are the only series where Spike bulldog don’t appear in! If spike bulldog were gonna appear in these either shorts, spike’s old personality would’ve returned since Shiver me whiskers the Tom and Jerry Film from 2006 because in original 1940s shorts such as “Dog trouble”, Spike’s original personality was muted except growls and biting noises and the designs were gonna be like the early 1940s shorts.
This sad excuse of comedy is what Tom and Jerry has sunked to?
I've seeing worse... much worse. Also even some old one like the ones from the Chuck jones era weren't that good because at this point nothing will beat the hanna & barbera era.
