I never understood why in two separate cartons me was referred to as McPoodle or Droopy Poodle. There is such a thing as a Basset Hound-Poodle mix, but he clearly is not a Poodle. I guess the creators just thought it was funny.

I love that today's kids are getting a chance to see what we grew up on. This is back when cartoons were actually funny. Of course my parents' parents used to watch this as kids. That should tell you how old these cartoons really are.
If all the cartoon characters who debuted in the golden age of cartoons were a part of a classroom, Droopy would be the shy, quiet emo-goth kid who doesn't say/do much, but is surprisingly strong and athletic, and can and WILL beat you to a bloody pulp if you piss him off!
What made these cartoons so great was their ability to define logic and their goofiness as well as being unexpected but now cartoons today are not like this anymore
