Check out the amazing LOTR MERCHANDISE in the Description
"You bow to no one." is the #1 scene that makes even the hardest of hearts go soft and cry.
"I would have followed you my brother... my captain... my king!"
Literally ball my eyes out every time I watch that drunk :(((
My list would be:
5. Boromir's dead
4. I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you
3. There's some good in this word, Mr. Frodo. And it's worth to fighting for.
2. Frodo leaving Shire
1. You bow to no-one
Yes to all of these
Viola Kejřová Or the scene where Frodo sees Gandalf again for the first time
"Our people... I would have followed you, my brother... my captain... my king..."
Yes, this list
And 'I'm glad to be with you, Samwise Gamgee, here at the end of all things'
I bet Gimli would have never told Haldir "I spit on your grave" once he saw him die for real
Haldirs arrival was more tear jerking than his end. Aragorns speech to continue the fellowship was more tear jerking than boromirs death. Sam reiterating his promise to Frodo after almost drowning was more beautiful than any of their moments (minus the "carry you" part)
I get more teary eyed at the moments where hope presents itself when it seemed like all hope was gone
You missed the Grey Havens, much more tear worthy then Helms Deep.
What always got me was when sam sees the elves in extended edition. "I don't know why but it makes me sad" and when grima sees the army of saruman and sheds a tear. That got me too. I think the later because he realized he had screwed up and know understood how badly he screwed up.
No the tear was from the unimaginable presence of all the uruk-hai. An overwhelming feeling of the presence of power and destruction. He definitely didn't feel bad.
@@travishill8557 to each their own
@Travis Hill he most certainly did afterall that was his hometown
There is something about Elves dying to save men: those who would otherwise live forever, risking death (and sometimes in fact dying) to save a group of people who for sure will die one way or another.
"No parent should have to bury their child."
5: every
4: time
3: samwise
2: gamgee
1: cries
Precisely.
Fr bro Sam is the goat😭
I probably would have included "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you"
Boromir's death We all cried
Damn Boromir was a troubled soul but we loved him in the end.
Arise, arise, Riders of Theoden. Fell deeds awake, spears shall be shaken, shields shall be splintered. A sword day, a red day ere the sun rises. Forth Eorlingas !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😢😢😢😢😢😥😥😥😥😥😥😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Tear jerker. 😫😫😫 Those were tough times for them. My fave was Aragorn scene when he kisses the forehead of his dead friend. Real tears here.😫😫
Great list! I have to confess, I might have dropped a tear or two while watching this video. But, overall, I agree with this list and with the order you put the scenes in. I think it's wonderful how watching a movie can make you feel so many emotions. For me, this just proves the brilliance of Tolkien's mind and how well his stories were adapted to the big screen by Peter Jackson and all the cast and crew involved with the making of The Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit films. Anyways, keep up the amazing work!
"Oh Boromir, The tower of guard
Shall ever northward gaze,
To Rauros golden Rauros falls
Until the end of days"
"I would have followed you my brother my captain my king"
That makes me cry everytime..
When Gandalf returns and Aaragon says “it cannot be….you fell” always makes me tear up.
I cried a lot when Gollum makes Frodo distrust his best friend Sam, and Frodo tells Sam that he “can’t help him anymore.” And Sam is like “You don’t mean that.” But Frodo turns away and abandons Sam... then Sam is just crying in disbelief. I died.
Theoden at his son’s grave just wrecks me every time.
I would have liked to see them all live to see Aragorn crowned King. Hadir, Boramir, The King , all of them.😰😰😰😰. So sad, when the good die, our hearts never get over it. Even though this is a movie, these things do happen in all reality. They went to the "Halls of their fathers "...😰😰😰😩
5. Frodo sails to Undying Lands
4. No, Merry. I'm going to look after you.
3. My brother, my captain, my king.
2. DEATH, DEATH, DEATH at Pellanor
1. You bow to no one.
Bonus: All of Sam's tearily-delivered lines to Frodo
The End of Two Towers ... When Sam tells about the Heroes of old Tales and why they did Continue their Journey ... the Soundtrack alone makes me cry ... i love the scene
I have to say that the many scenes of Aragorns self doubt (often overlooked) are so sad and moving, an ongoing and continuing thread throughout the trilogy that forces the observer to remember that although our hero is brave and strong...he is still vulnerable, he is still human, and he is merely a man: "the same blood flows through my veins, the same weakness" (FOTR)
"U chebin Estel anim" (I keep no Hope for myself" (ROTK), and the most heart breaking 💔 self doubt scene for me (ROTK) is when Aragorn drops to his knees after exiting the cave of the dead (seeing all of the black ships) understanding that the battle may truely be lost, leaning into Legolas for comfort as his friend places his hand on his shoulder to offer him strength and solace. The look on his face says it all, almost as if he is recalling Gandalf's words "Lead them on Aragorn" (FOTR) and realizing that he may not be able to lead 'the world of men' against the great evil of Sauron. As you read his expression, its almost as if you, the viewer, can feel the crushing weight placed on the shoulders of Isildurs heir, this ranger from the North, this Dunedein, this son of Arathorn, this KING OF GONDOR!! 👑 🎶Howard Shore 'Kingdom of Gondor' theme plays softly in the background...🎶
Aragorn is more than just a mere man, though if anything, he's superhuman.
Just watched the whole triology for the 7th time maybe
only the 7th time
Yea I have watched the whole triology like 100 times.
Not joking
I’ve seriously been watching it over and over lately ... it’s even more special in my older days .... such a fucking perfect movie
@@todortodorov1562 100 times? That's nothing:-) I've watch it like 150 000 times:P
Noob I watched 253 times
You missed all the best scenes
"you bow to no one"
"I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you"
"don't go where I can't follow"
"don't you let go"
Gandalf bringing 3 eagles because he wanted to save Smeagol too
But Smeagol was so evil and sick :-(
I'll agree that these scenes are sad, however none made me cry.. 3 other scenes did:
1. The reunion of the fellowship at Frodos bed after the ring is destroyed.
2. Aragorn and the free people kneeling for the 4 hobbits on top of Minas Tirith.
3. Grey Havens.
The second one of your list made me cry too
And Gandalf's death
I love these scenes and yup all totally made me cry too my hearttt
Faramir's sactrifice is the one that gets to me
exactly the ones that I was looking for.
1. you bow to no one!
2. I can't carry it for you, but i can carry you!
3. Sam made a promise! A promise!
4. Gandalf charges down the hill in helms deep
5. Frodo leaving middle earth
Love them all ❤️
Gets me every time.....
So i watched these as a kid while they were being released
And number 5 was really where I cam to grips, truly understood mortality. The subtle gulp Pipin makes as the door slams is phenomenal.
#1 for me: Frodo and Sam's parting at the Grey Havens.
How dare you. How dare you not make „you bow to no one number one“
Sam begging Frodo to reach his hand, and not let go to fall into lava always hits home for me the hardest.
Peter Jackson is a brilliant filmmaker but I swear these movies would be nothing without Howard Shore
For me the scene that made me cry the most was the ending.
5.boromir death
4.theoden death
3.sam come back to his sons
2.sam and rosie married
1.the fellowship reunited
How Haldir made this list but not Gray Haven's is beyond me.
omg so happy I found this channel! And so glad you're covering the new series too, I was worried about it as I didn't want a remake of the beautiful movies but knowing it will be set in a different age, I'm all for it now :)Also I'll never be over these films
Haldir's death was just so sad i cried for like 2 hours 🥺😭
Every scene in lord of the ring
The intro where Frodo meets gandalf always make me cry.
I just recently watched all 3 movies cause I’ve Berber fully seen them and I’m 22 I remember seeing parts of it but never truly saw it I knew there were some scenes that were sad like the you bow to no one and the Frodo leaving at the end but after watching them go through hell and back and make a connection with each other I cried at both of those scenes I don t cry in movies much but damn.
Eomer crying over the body of his sister, the Grey Havens, the people of Gondor bowing to the Hobbits, Arwen crying over the vision of her son. Boromir dying never gets to me , cause I never liked him.
I am not an emotional woman, but lord of the Rings makes me cry like a little child every single time...
What about the scene when Gandalf and Frodo are leaving middle earth??
for me its boromir dying, sam carrying frodo up mount doom and aragorn bowing with his people to the hobbits right after he becomes king
My list
5-Haldir death
4-Frodo leaving to middle Earth
3-Frodo and Gandalf speech from Moria
2-You bow to no one
1- Boromir death
Why not the Grey Havens???
Ikr:-( I mean.. Come on☹️
Wow👍
Honestly, my top 5:
5. Bormoir's death
4. Gandalf's speech in Moria about what to do with the time we're given
3. There's some good in this world / I'm gad you're here with me, at the end of all things
2. The first time we see the Shire. Gets me every time, right from the first viewing. It came to life after all the years I could only imagine it.
1. You bow to no one.
who would ever dislike this?
There is something good in the world
I'm here after watching Green Book
Sam is a true hero
How tf do u leave out Sam carrying Frodo…
Great video, but I have to disagree. Theoden's death didn't make me cry. It made me want to jump up and raise my fist in the air in celebration! He finally achieved his heart's desire - to be worthy amongst his forebears. In this, he succeeded more than perhaps all of them! :D
1:19 y is he still untouched?!?
How is Frodo’s goodbye not on here?
No no no:-( don't kill Haldir
First of course. Second, no. Third.. maybe. Fourth and fifth are just natural lol
first comment!
Boromir's death is certainly the saddest of all. He was such a good person with hope and pain. He has fought evil for so long but has never been able to celebrate victory. Also King Theoden's death was unnecessary and very sad for me, he was the best king in LOTR. Why couldn't Tolkien let Aragorn die, i never cared for him or liked him! But Boromir and Theoden didn't deserve it.
None of them are sad the some of the sam parts are sad and the end
Not a single sam/frodo scene? You're trippin
