Meyle engine oil is incredible, im using 5-30 for my bmw e46 323ci, this is the results: engine sound is very calm, car runs freely, great acceleration, after releasing gas pedal, rpm of the engine falls very slowly from high to low 750, it has incredibly longer life, even when it turned to black and i changed with new meyle oil, differences between them was not noticeable, this also means that it cleans my old engine. The meyle parts are just terminators, very hard to kill and all these with great price. I love this brand..
I have a 2013 ML350 4matic, TC drain is nearly impossible to remove or replace. Any suggestion on removing more fluid than just the pan drain?
Several MB message boards suggested the trans pan needs to be level when fill/drain. The ML350 slopes up in the front so you would have to raise the rear to level it. So I am questioning this. I am thinking the vehicle needs to be level as it appears in this video. Any thoughts. Thank you

Hello, we do not supply the rubber tubes, because they are reusable. If yours are damaged you can order A 221 270 76 04 for replacement.

One last question: If the transmission oil is very dark and smells burnt, is it advisable to drain the torque converter? Or would it be better to just drain and refill the pan and leave the torque converter alone to keep some of the old oil inside?
I'm asking because I've heard that flushing all the fluid out could cause problems if your oil hasn't been changed in a long time.

in your case I strongly recommend to drain also the torque converter to get rid of as much old oil as possible. There are several liters of oil in it. Therefore just follow the steps given in the video. :-)

This is the only video which showed how to get the fluid out of the torque converter. Will this procedure work on a 2017 AMG C63S? Also doesn't the return line need to be removed in order to flush oil from the transmission oil coolers?
The AMG models have different transmission variants, even within the same vehicle type. Therefore, we recommend you to always determine the correct procedure based on the original manufacturer's specifications and instructions and follow it.
Awesome video! One question: Does the 722.9 have a torque converter drain plug as well, or is that only for cars with the 722.9 Plus transmission?
In most cases, there is a drain plug on 722.9 gearboxes. But there can also be some without. To be 100% sure, this needs to be determined on the actual vehicle.
@@MEYLETV Alright. That's the part that's getting me confused because I've seen a lot of videos where they don't use a drain plug. I guess I won't know until I'm under the car. It's a 2010 ML350 Bluetec by the way. Production date is March 2010.

In what paticularly time do we need to start the motor to get to 45degrees, and why does it need to get to 45 degrees
After the initial oil filling of approximately 6 Liters please start the engine and monitor the gearbox oil temperature. At this point the oil temperature should be well under 45 degrees. Now fill the other 2 Liters gearbox oil and shift through the gears. Now disconnect the filling hose and watch some oil drain out until it drips out like in the video. Now the oil temperature should be maximum 45 degrees. If the temperature is higher let oil cool down and repeat the oil level checking process.
When draining the transmission oil, do I need to warm up the car to a certain degree (warm engine)? please enlighten :)
In principle, it is not necessary to warm up the engine/transmission before draining the oil. However, we refer to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications for further information.
Great video, but one question, when I go to the Meyle site, it shows two different kind of kits for the 2014 MB w212 7 22.9 transmission, and one of them says "only for Vehs with Stop / Start technology." so why is this? Your car has the 7Gtronic+ gearbox installed. The difference between the oil change kits within the 7Gtronic+ range is the amount of gearbox oil supplied. Your car has an additional electric oil pump below the torque converter. This auxiliary oil pump supplies oil pressure to the gearbox while engine is stationary. The right kit for your car is 014 135 1410. I hope that’s the information you requested.

Yes all parts are the same. Filter, pan gasket, short stand pipe (green), magnets, drain plugs, washers, alloy-bolts. The oil from us is colored light red, not blue but has the exact same specifications for your 7G-tronic+ gearbox. The very important part is the filter. Only with MEYLE you get the three layered filter in the aftermarket which is required for your gearbox and has the exact same specifications as the Mercedes original filter. It has three different filter layers inside ensuring sufficient fluid filtering throughout the 100.000 km oil change interval.
If you perform the change interval yourself, be careful with the alloy bolts. 4Nm +180° is the tightening specification for those, a bit too much and the bolts snap off. A small tightening If there is anything else you are interested in, please let us know.

If you have oval dimples on oil pan is blue.

thanks for your comment. The gearbox in general can be identified by the dimples. The MEYLE ATF plus 9 gearbox oil is dyed greenish. Important here is not the dye color but the oil specification. The 7G-tronic plus gearbox must be filled with ATF plus 9. One of the lowest viscosity gearbox oils worldwide!
I have 184k on my 2010 w204 and the at fluid has never been changed. Is it too late to change it?

The procedure is similar for the W212, but not exactly the same. Our recommendation: The work should definitely be carried out by trained personnel. The installation instructions and regulations of the original manufacturer must be followed.

Hello, if you emty the torque converter completely you, have around 8 liters of oil to change. The MEYLE kit part number for your car is 014 135 1212.
To be safe, order one liter of gearbox oil 014 019 2800 more, because while filling you will overfill first and then let drain out again the excessive oil.

Amateurs! Wrong Oil ! Is a 7gPlus. You need the 236.15 blue Oil. Green Pipe and/or extra Oil Pump is only a 7g+ Transmission.
You are completely right. For the 7G Tronic Plus transmission, blue oil with Mercedes standard 236.15 must be used. This is the regulation for these vehicles. But: we also do that in the video 😉
It is blue oil and you can also recognize it by the bottles labeled "ATF Plus 7".
