I travel 1-2x per month by air and have a spare Permobil M3 exclusively for air travel. Scootaround and Global Repair Group often liase between the airlines and your DME but don’t be shy asking for the “complaint resolution officer” (CRO) who has additional training on the air carrier access act and is often afforded broader discretion to resolve your concerns. Also every single time take photos before leaving the chair, even a video stating “I am at ORD at the United counter this is my Permobil M3 on [date]”. Always test all actuators and seat functions upon arrival and report before leaving the airport
