Well... At least we don't have Justin Trudeau!
Perhaps Paul should look into a mirror before casting disparaging comments about a country's leadership. We ALL have tyrants in charge right now.
Ill trade Turdo for trump and throw in 6 pack
A young socialist dictator is much better than a creaky republican tycoon. Just look at Fidel Castro in his youth! And Joseph Stalin was cool, too.
You got us there buddy
Yeah, can’t argue with you there.
Don't worry Paul, you will have a land acknowledgement tax soon to penalize you for daring to own land stolen from the native people, the money will miraculously never reach them even though it's supposed to act as reparations.
The rain falls on the just and the unjust. The taxes fall not so equally.
"Abigail, a former CIA operative.." Just what America needs, a CIA operative as POTUS. That will cut out the middle man and make covert operations more efficient. Yay!
She works here in VA, she is a Pelosi lapdog, does whatever Pelosi wants
I mean, if they were at least honest about the horrendous things they're doing. Like, if they came out and just said, "look, we had to remove JFK because if we didn't, the following ten thigns would happen and they would be bad", I might go along with their agenda, ya know?
Look how successful Putin is. 😅
@@aPaulingNews-nn3xeWell he had actually a good start, but clearly his agenda on " Neo Russian Empire" was quite outdated..he actually forgot to put a memo about "actual military intelligence", while there are several on "crappy propaganda"..now that was a face that you didn't want to see in the 2024 election
@@aPaulingNews-nn3xe He has a very special way of _cutting_ out middle men.
We can't do better because the better aren't masochistic enough to do it.
I hate my right to voice my opinion. I hate my right to improve my life. I hate the country that gave me these rights.
I hate it all. I want all it stripped. I want to be miserable.
That person already chose self-inflicted misery. She clearly does it every day.
We used to joke about the government taxing the air we breathe, but if this new rain tax passes, we might be getting it for real very soon.
They are taxing your air, where do you think the carbon from the carbon tax is?
We already had one former CIA official in the white house...there were issues.
I guess no one told her you are still expected to work under communism too, huh?
you are either a slave to the state, something less than that (in a goulag), or as fertilizer. they will find something for you to do.
Living under a bridge is so fuuuuun!!! No rent, no work, and no capitalism. Making doo doo in a Folgers can is true freedom.
being a bum these days takes too much work. having to catch all the money that government is hemorrhaging in a wicker basket. im convinced crackheads would be better at balancing the national budget. its amazing what they will do for an 8-ball. congress not the crackheads.
Anyone who's truly qualified and responsible enough to run this country doesn't want to have anything to do with running this country responsibly.

I didn't want to work either. But I was far more adverse to being poor and homeless. You work all of your life until you are old and can afford to retire.
Dusty Johnson, I thought it was his nickname for his lack of genital wash care.
No,...no to any former CIA spooks.
Every election we ask the question, is this seriously the best we can do?
In a word. Yes. We have people who run. The electorate chooses. Then there is a general election. Whoever wins, wins. If you don't like it, you have two choices. Find someone you "Think" would make great candidate, then work your heart out to get that candidate elected. You other choice? Go live with the guy who made this vid.
I'll take either of our geriatric basket cases over Trudeau. Just saying.
You aren't wrong.
Keep this sentiment in 2028 when Gavin Newsom is on the ticket. He’s the American version of Trudeau. IDGAF if Satan himself is the Republican nominee. I’m voting for Satan.
So glad I found your channel. Dry sarcasm so good.
“Ted Talk”, now that was funny! 😂
I liked that, also. Thanks.
@@aPaulingNews-nn3xe You are welcome.
Portland Oregon already has a "Rain Tax." When I lived there I paid more for the surface area of my roof and parking lot than for the water I used. Good luck Canada!
Maybe that lady is from Super Mario Bros. After all it looks like she has A mushroom on her head.😁😆
Funny thing is, she would have even worse problems in any era before capitalism. Peasant housing was barely more than a lean-to, you worked for chickens and bread not dollars, and you couldn’t leave the country without permission.
If there’s one constant among the grievance majors…. They all come out dumber than they went in.
In my town (in Québec) they are adding a new 80$ tax to households that own a pool in order to fund the public pools. So the non-users pay and the users don't. Complete BS
Meanwhile, In America, they fine you in some states if you hold on the rain water that falls from the sky... What a crazy shitty world.
Yep. My brother was stationed in Virginia. They already charge for rainfall, among other absurd things.
Realizing that UA-cam is a poor forum for discussion, water rights and law is one of the most complex areas of human society.
Think about, few of us drink only the water that falls on what we own.
And who has the right to collect the water.
Gets more complicated when we talk about streams and rivers.
And for a real treat, what happens when a beaver dam changes the flow.
It’s a complicated world 🤪☔️
But what about droughts. If there is a drought for any length of time, I would demand money back from the municipal government. Bastard pieces of commie shits.
The more I listen, the more I appreciate your channel.
Aces Paul.👍🏼
I appreciate that!
I don't know when it happened, but somewhere along the line we went from 'the lesser of two evils' to 'the evil of two lessers."
it became about the money and power not the good of the people
It has been that way since the Constitution was ratifiedl@@randybegon3191
And if you tried to have a green roof, they wouldn't allow it.
Can you deviate raining water from roofs to a pool or recipients to reuse? I know some cities demand large buildings to do so in order to reduce water consumption, the apartment owners love it because it reduces the bill quite a bit.
People sometimes have a distorted idea of the US President's power in their system. If you're an American politician who actually wants to get things done being a senior member on one of the more powerful House and Senate committees is a better choice. Those are the people that write the legislation, set the taxes and have the real power. The President can veto legislation (if he doesn't get over ridden by a 2/3 majority in the house and senate) but he can't introduce it. He can appoint senior members of the civil service, including the Supreme Court, but he still has to get approval from the legislative bodies. It is , as Teddy Roosevelt once said, a bully pulpit to spread your political views but there are better positions, away from the spotlight, where you can leave a much stronger mark on the country.
Being a President these days is also the end of your political career. A few presidents have tried to run for the Oval Office after leaving but none that I've been able to find have ever run for any lesser office. So it may not be an attractive choice for a young person planning a full career in politics. Of course on that note I'd actually get a chuckle out of a sitcom where a former president runs for his local school board;).
Good post. I'm not American; it's interesting to hear how American politics works. I think I read that Taft became Supreme Court Justice, but I've no idea where the rest of the presidents ended up (except for the ones who didn't make it...!).
Same here in New Orleans, stormwater fee(rain tax) is currently up for vote. Making graft great again.
And you know the money will go into `general revenue’ and the storm drains will not get improved
I get it. This wouldn't be Canadian if this didn't kick, or at least try to kick America, totally forgetting Canadian "Politics." Nevertheless, he does make a point. There are WAY too many people who "Think(?)" the should have everything, EVERYTHING, they want, and it should all be free, and they should not have to work. This bits and pieces of this attitude seem to have started when I was in undergrad. Now? From Black people and White people, I'm hearing the fleshed-out version. Now? My question. WHO FAILED THESE PEOPLE?!?!? Was it the schools, the parents (most likely), or "Popular Culture?" It wasn't the Churches, since, let's face it, these people don't go to Church.
Oh no, it wasn't the schools. I've been told the schools that produced these social parasites worked exactly as intended.
"I don't ever want to work again!" she cries.
How does it work out if everyone stops working?
There's nobody to deliver her food or packages.
There's nobody to build and run the websites from which she orders her food or items.
There's nobody to harvest the food or produce the items she wants to buy.
How unthinking can a grown adult be?
Seeing a lot of this online. People unprepared to work.
"How unthinking can a grown adult be?"
I find it best to leave questions like that unasked so that the universe does not feel compelled to answer.
When everyone works less, everyone will work more.
Be your own mail carrier, farmer, cook, doctor, account, bank, utilities provider, construction worker, architect, engineer, ect. It's why labor has become more specialized as technology and society advances (ideally speaking) once that goes away, the burden starts to fall on individuals to figure it out for themselves.
@@aPaulingNews-nn3xe I blame the parents, they’ve never allowed their precious offspring to fail, coddled and spoiled them. Now a generation of spoiled children in adult form can’t handle the least bit of adversity without a melt down. Where `micro aggressions’ are calamitous, words are violence, and safe spaces with blankies and stuffed toys pop up at universities.
Dusty is likely the one shutting down Amish farmers in Pennsylvania and other small farms across USA. He has the look🥴🤪
Stupid people need to start renting billboards more often.
We spoiled kids WAY TOO MUCH..... I was spoiled but came up in the 60's thru 80's, so still was expected to WORK and DO productive stuff..... They want everything given to them, but don't expect to contribute to anything....... good luck with that.
In germany we already have the raintax - as I call it, the "air displacement tax" - which just doubled last year ...
Is Toronto missing an opportunity to implement "Nano Hydroelectric"?
Oh, and regarding the US election, we've got both Ron Paul and Thomas Sowell. Both of whom are too smart to take the job...
A ex CIA employee as president!?…. As if Bush wasn’t enough !?…
Pics of Biden and Trump are priceless!!
HaHaHa, my snicker factor is now satisfied for the day! What's that thing on your noggin? Hahaha....ahhh I love your show.
Y'all don't have a great reputation of politicians on your side either. As for that person that hates America why don't they sell the $200.00 pair of earphone, the $1200.00 iPhone and get rid of the apartment that probably costs $1000.00 or more a month and move to someplace nice like Iran or Iraq. See if she complains about capitalism then. Love your channel. Your humor and deadpan delivery is wonderful.
I hope I made it clear that we are pipsqueeks. I just expect greatness from the neighbours to the south. It was a compliment.
The comparison of the two random politicians points to how much governance has suffered from the demise of the “smoke filled rooms” run by the party elders. Yeah, it’s anti~democratic but it did result in a better class of leadership candidates.
TBF, Willie Brown wanted Kamala, so that's one person.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Bizarro World is here.
Ah, Paul! In(g)triguing question: if they (the Americans - and really it's a question for all of us) COULD do better, then why haven't they/we yet? Especially given how very, very dangerous it would be to continue as we have. Does that mean in reality we actually CAN'T do better, even though we really, really would like to? I always thought Hobbes was onto something with his distinction between "freedom of the will" and "freedom of doing". I'm rambling, I should go to bed. Good talking to you!
Unsubscribe, NEVER our humor is very similar 😂
😅 Oh, the ending was gold!! 😂 I'm South American so, I can laugh everything, including myself.😅
Thank you

You owe a heartfelt apology to the Mushroom Kingdom. Then again, they did give us Toad, the ur-annoyancer in Mario Kart, so to heck with the fungus brains.
Have to say I'm really liking this new channel.
Thanks.
I hate lazy people!
All kids should spend at least one summer working on a farm.
It is what summer break was for after all
Well that really puts it all in perspective.
*sigh*
*slumps in chair*
I have been paying a storm water tax for over a decade. It was supposed to be temporary. lol
Work is effort, life requires effort to function. If you refuse to put in the effort then someone else has to do it for you.
I pledge to not lay down my life for either of the top candidates here in Mer'ca. My vote is for Dusty...
I just want this "complaining about things on TikTok" trend to go away. It wouldn't bother me as much if the "blast my phone at full volume in public" trend wasn't accompanying it.
Toronto would infact be a nightmare to do a proper reconstruction job to upgrade the storm sewer system. Catch basin leads of the 60’s , 70’s & 80’s are 8” and 10” pipes.. putting in bigger is naturally a needed thing.. but the infrastructure shutdown that needs to occur for that is nearly impossible in that busy city.
I like your choices, Paul. I'm a Republican and would rather see either of those random people as president than either of the idiots who are currently the nominees. 😢
Careful Mr Chato. The girl in the clip might move to Canada! 🤭
How many terms has Trudeau served again...? Just wondering. I have issues with Trump, and far more with Biden, but we also haven't promoted euthanasia as a solution for homelessness...
Our options are worse than yours.
Too true.
She looks like a character in a Mario Brothers game or movie.
Goomba's are better looking.....
It’s something like the prisoner’s dilemma in reverse. If either party changes their candidate they’re likely to win, but if both change then there’s too much uncertainty. So neither party wants to move first and trigger the volatility.
Exactly the point of my piece. I hope that was clear.
@@aPaulingNews-nn3xe I’ll be honest, I was changing the bedding in my kid’s bed while listening, so it’s entirely possible I missed that point. 😁
There is also having to admit they made a bad selection.
As always you make me laugh and make me think!
I’m in shock as well as to how Americans have such a different view on this election vs two elections. It’s almost like they have lots any hope of a real candidate so they have decided to stand behind the member they have been given.
Much like Canadians, they too deserve a better leader than what they have.
Could it be a blue chef hat? I don't want to work again. But I think I will wait until I can pull my pension.
Thanks for being real and not bowing down to get more subscribers. A lot of UA-cam channels will say things so they can maintain growth, again you just keep it real…. And that’s the way it is!
TBF, water does run off hard surfaces, and paving over the (previously) grassy areas hasn’t helped. A better approach to the issue would be to make driveways permeable (such as grow through paving stones) so the rainwater (and melt) can be absorbed into the ground. This would also help replenish the water table. But politicians such as Chow aren’t interested in solutions, just in finding new ways to add to the tax burden.
There has to be a way to tax air and sunlight too. I just know that...progress...can be made.
She's just a lazy gnome--lazier than me! I've worked much of my life, and it's been mostly good.
I was today years old when I learned that there are different types of grass.😂
Good choices Paul. EITHER of them would be improvements over Trump and Biden.
Time for a go fund me to send her somewhere else?
I had two of those hair dryers given to me from my granny Luna. I used to think I could make a suit where you walk around in really cold weather to stay warm. I couldn't figure out how to make it mobile. We're talking in the 80s lol😅. I just knew it would work. .😅

The money from Toronto sewers should defintely go to Ukraine.
They’ll put the money into `general revenue’ where it will be used to put illegal migrants in 4* hotels.

Deadly Cronkite impression, Chato.
Burgers can't stop burguring!
It seems it is the best we can do. Too bad there aren't more choices.
We in Germany do have a rain tax! It’s real !!
A... rain tax?
Well, if you own a house, one of the things we MUST pay is a so called « Beitrag” , which can be translated as a “contribution ”: water that one uses ( that’s clear!) but also the rain water ( it is calculated per square meters), because the rain water will also “use” the drainage. We were told, everybody must pay it! So! Did Canada learn something stupid from Germany??
@@monicastorbeck2238 Ha! That sounds like a silly tax. I can't judge though. I'm English, so I have to pay for a TV licence - I think you Germans do too!
Yes, in our opinion it’s not silly, it’s ridiculous!! We tried to fight it but with no success! The buerocrats won! Yes, we MUST pay for the official media! It’s compulsory! We don’t want to, we have no choice!
Regina used to fight against censorship
We could absolute, 9000% do better. Either party could do vastly better. But they'd both have to do better at the same time, because as long as one side is dominated by totalitarians extremists and the other side is dominated by loudmouths that can't stop saying things that destabilize the global order even if their actual policies on balance beneficial for more Americans and America as a country, better is not going to happen.

5:15 Dusty? Maybe if I was from your time. Today "dusty" is a word I hear black feminists calling men that don't fall for their BS.
Toronto is vast. I drove on a 8 lane road in the middle of the concrete multithing.
There is a town in the USA that repeatedly has elected a dog as mayor. I think a Republican doggie running against a Democrat cat would be infinitely better than the actual choice we have.
Rain tax...That's so last decade. Here in NJ in the USA we've had a rain tax for years now (no I'm not kidding, look it up if you don't believe me). Our beloved overlord (his name be praised) Governor Murphy, when not enjoying his french villa (not in name, its actually in France) blessed us with this lovely cash grab as the states finances have officially hit 50th out of 50 states again after climbing to 49th place for a single year.
Wow. Does anyone do any research into its effect?
@@aPaulingNews-nn3xe The only research NJ would be interested in is how much money it can bring in. NJ financial situation is desperate, for years instead of giving raises to state employees they gave large pension increases and promises of free medical for life to retirees. Politicians loved it, they get the unions votes for giving them more money and citizens votes for not having to raise taxes, at least short term.
Decades on, the bills are due, every financial trick in the book has been used and there is nothing left. How bad are NJ's taxes? My home is around 1,000sqft, it's sits on a postage stamp piece of property, I have no sidewalk, live on a busy street with day and night tractor trailer traffic, and its in a flood zone. My property taxes are $8,200 a year (no that's no a misprint). We have very high income taxes, sales taxes, cell phone taxes (9.975%), vehicle taxes, high gasoline taxes that are scheduled to go up again soon, rain tax, a new $250/yr tax on electric vehicles, an up to 12.5% tax on insurance, trash tax, recycling tax, etc, etc, etc ,etc ,etc. The state has even stopped doing vehicle safety inspections to save money. CA gets all the press because its so large, but I'd wager NJ is in worse shape. If your interested in the actual financial condition of any state in particular and/or the US government the non-profit truthinaccounting.org does a great breakdown.
PS Thanks for the videos on your channels, really enjoy your posts. -Eric

First thing I thought, I’d love to hear which overpriced college degree her parents paid for. Then Paul beat me to it.
@ 3:40 I have been saying that exact thing since the 2016 electoral race. Out of over 30 million eligible candidates for president, was Trump vs Hillary the best we could do? was Trump vs Biden the best we could do? Our country and the electoral process is irreparably broken.
