You have a keen awareness and appreciation of natural beauty. And you talent at revealing that is much appreciated. Plus you share the tricks of your trade. Your daughter is one lucky lady.
I like this long version very much! And none of your words is too much said! For take it seriously it's so important getting to know perspective and all those things you talk about. On the other side, if there is something I already know yet, it is very well refreshing it and put it once again in my mind, and hopefully keep there throughout the painting and further. I'm going to give it a try, thinking of learning a lot more. I really love your kind of painting and your patiently teaching as well!!
Every word of yrs is valuable, what a great n inspiring teacher. One must watch n carefully listen to yr videos several time n I do it always. God bless u David.
Wonderful lesson! There are so many different artists on UA-cam but you are really teaching. I’m a beginner. I learned a lot from this video. Thank you!
I like the different heights of the mountains and how the smaller trees fade into the background. The incorporation of colors on the mountain really allows them to come to life. The smaller trees on the mountain add interest along with the snow and rocks. Amazing how you can explain why and what you are accomplishing as you are painting! Not easy! Decided to dry brush bricks in the living room instead of white wash. So having some work done here. I picked the right person!
I just love this painting drawn out of your imagination. I remember, my senior year in high school, creating a painting in art class using pastels. The teacher put it on the wall, but I never did get it back. It was of a stone house using many colors. I loved it. Oh well, more creating ahead. TY David~
I love how you explain every step with detail and why you do it. It's so important as a beginner the how and the why and even the color combinations. It's great I learned so much in just this lesson. Thank you ❤️👍
What an awesome lesson......learned soooo much about rocks and shadows today........I just wanna paint rocks now! and water, and snow, and well, everything!
I love this! I really have to find someone who can bring me your Heritage acrylics from the US, because I only have a few from that shop in France, where they only sell a small part of your products!!! Impossible for someone in Portugal to order from the US, because tax duties are huge!!! Thank you so much for this fantastic lesson. Can't wait for part two!!!
I could watch this all day with the feeling I am going to enter in the beautiful landascape.I have got some books of you and I really would like to buy the heritage paints and the brushes but the shipping to Germany is just too high, I would prefer to spend this amount of money buying more supplies. Perhaps one day I will travel to the USA and buy it as soon I arrive there!!😘😘
Hello Dave , Long time I didn’t comment sorry for that, but always l hit that bottom 👍🏻 this video really helped me to continue my landscaping painting and thank your so much for that. I would like to see a foggy technique painting.
Hi Nada. glad it helped. I have done several seascapes with fog and mist. I also did this wildlife with it. Lots of fun. facebook.com/DavidWJansen/photos/1762362324016247

Wonderful! More coming Lesley. Thank you so much 😀
Excellent advice and tips. Well explained as usual! Is that your dog snoring in the background.. 🤣 Best wishes.. David in the UK.
LOL.. The mics did pick it up.. LOL. Yes, the dogs go everywhere with me and they were a little tired from playing in the snow. Thanks much!
As you were doing the front rocks on the left you had a lovely cliff edge before you anchored them down and it was a profile of a wolf. Check it 44.20
I will have to check it out.
Thank you so much
You're most welcome. Part 2 is coming tomorrow.

About 90% of what I paint comes from my mind. I do use photos but rarely.
@@JansenArtEducation yes you have done enough to be able too
