Just getting into the outdoors, survival, and the idea of camping! You’ve really encouraged me to actually take a trip soon! Great video, can’t wait to see more
Glad I found you and your other channel! You do a a good, thorough job. I love military packs but so many of them, like the one you are using, are heavy and not comfortable. I have an ALICE pack, medium (who doesn't?) and Karrimor Sabre 45, which is a pretty comfortable pack. Keep going. I look forward to more of your content.
I am a tent camper. I wouldn't know what to do. My oblivious self would've shared the site, but then, if my guts says no, then I'll do the same as you.
I like my ramen a little crunchy. :) Enjoyed the video, and I might have stayed there with them. Maybe not the best idea, but I'd probably see what vibe they gave off.
Indeed! It would have made the video more entertaining, for sure! I didn’t really know what was going on in the midst of the interaction, and pointing a camera at them didn’t feel right at the time. 😅 Thanks for watching!
Right at the beginning of the vid you talk about how everyone that uses the trail will eventually run in to it. Then you are surprised when someone shows up. I'll sub, but I won't stick around for that kind of whining. Public trails, lol. Horses can't get where I go.
Hey! Thanks for subscribing. What I said was that if you are backpacking you will come across the shelter… meaning you will reserve it and head down the shelter path to stay there. These guys weren’t backpacking, they were turkey hunters and came in off the road. Each shelter has a spur trail off of the main trail, so the they are intended to be used by backpackers who reserve the shelter only. There is typically no main trail traffic to the shelters. Thanks for the comment!
just my 2 cents be more like Steve and have a step 2. Way too much talking, and information dumping. I like all the camera angles and the B roll of you working and enjoying the sensory. Let the microphone listen to the bird and bugs more, give us stuff that we cant hear or see here from Ohio or somewhere like Texas, you walking through cotton or puddles is really cool and it looks like u have a drone following you very nice. Keep up the great videos I'd rather this than the other 80% of camping youtubers that don't say a word the entire video.

Thanks so much! I’m excited for you… I hope you make it out there!

This was your first video? I feel like I am missing something. Great video.
Thanks! I have another channel with shorter content. This one is for my long form camping content. Thanks for being here!
Really enjoyed watching, thank you from Kinloss in Scotland.
Very cool, thanks for being here!
I think you did the right thing. With your experience and your ability to adapt and overcome made for a more interesting video at least :)
Much appreciated! Thanks for being here and for the comment!

@@skadoosh3820😂 I’m not that clever.
Well then 🤷🏼♂️ Get a better designed pack or pack mule.
🫏 🎒 I would love to try a mule pack trip sometime!
