🔥 ABOUT THE SHOW
In Hell's Kitchen, two teams compete for the prestigious job of head chef at a top restaurant, all under the guidance of world-class fiery chef Gordon Ramsay.
Danny Trejo's opinion about the food:
"It's good, I like it"
Straight and to the point. 😅
Useless
if I was a chef and I ate the same tacos that the red and blue team made me I would give them all points!!!!!!!! because all of the tacos that both teams made looked so delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like Nick Diaz
@@katenpp stop hating on him he is just straight to the point
As soon as you hear a reference to someone's mother's cooking, it's game over for everyone else.
Right?!
Yup that's because most of our meals come from our parents and good memories combined.
Not my mom lol
Any restaurant that makes me feel at home with mom or grandma’s cooking is automatically my favorite and I’ll be back
Unless it's sugar in potatoes lol
"Mom! You got my mom back there?"
Clear sign of a checkmate
Trejo as a judge felt actuallly genuine, you have these past judges with credentials that nitpick every thing...and here hes just making it simple on what he liked the best lol
It does depend. Other chef judges can add a layer of insight to a dish rather than yes or no. I think there's good value in that too. Unlike the fashion judges that were the absolute worst.
@@robertluong3024I think the absolute worst ones are the tattoo judges from ink master, pretentious the lot of them, and they nitpick on things not even related to the tats
Yeah indeed.
He may be genuine but he’s not a good judge. The point of these is criticism, make the chefs better.
Yeah, but there was hardly a distinction in why one taco was better than the other. Like I don't think the chefs had any takeaways or than Danny likes avocados and Danny hates cayenne pepper. It all seemed based on his personal preference and I think he was wanting to be nice. Not that that it's negative thing, it''s part of why I love the guy. It's possible all of them were some bombass tacos, since Ramsay seemed to like them all too.
Latinos telling you that your food tastes like their mom's/grandma's cooking is the highest praise you can get. Danny was awesome.
We do that here in South America as well. That has also been in American kid shows since 2000s. It is not special to latinas, unless you have some more information.
@@thechoosentwiceu made no sense btw
It made a lot of sense to me... Food being familiar to family is not just a Latino thing@@donl3500
@@thechoosentwice ¿?
@@donl3500 Que?
Imagine Gordon just randomly pulling you out into a room, and you're thinking it's a death sentence.
@@Ayokidd999 I think he-
Danny is too cool. He doesn't bs or come up with these long, meandering explanations. He either likes it or doesn't. Sometimes it's that simple.
For everyone wondering, chef Ramsay pulled Alejandro aside to just tell him he's seen great stuff from him so far, but when he gets in the weeds he kind of "disappears" and that Gordon needed him to work on that and be good in service that night.
legend
Gets in weeds like the drug?
@@gamemak0r it’s a restaurant term, basically just means you get behind or are struggling.
@@gamemak0r Being in the weeds is a restaurant term for not being able to keep up. I've heard it mostly used for a waiter not being able to attend to all of their tables timely, but you could use it for any position.
@@stevenwilson1938 it basically “good luck baby”
Tara be like: "Can't stand the Red Team!" 😡
(One reward later)
"Me and the besties!" 😍
She is insane
Mentally unstable af
@@riveness they say the craziest have the best shiiih tho
Remind of Amber Season 19 who constantly complained that she misses the Red Team a lot but she's also enjoying a lot of rewards on Blue Team
Danny Trejo is a no bs straight to the point type of guy. I watched the entire episode and was impressed by how he rated things.
He seemed down to earth, definitely not like the characters he portrays.
The look on Abe's face when he heard Danny say that Dafne's taco was elevated, and he had to go against her, he knew he was COOKED!
The battle of the Hispanics really settled the taco challenge
That just wasn't fair... IMO, Latinos and Hispanics have the *best* tacos.
@@TH94Glitchbro tacos are Mexican is not a wide Latino thing, sushi isnt Vietnamese or Mongolian
A fresh hand made tortilla will ALWAYS be top tier.
What I learned is Danny Trejo has never met a taco he didn’t like
No matter how eccentric your dish can be, against the dish that can capture the heart, it has no chance
This clip just made me hella crave tacos!!! I'm asking my husband if we can have tacos for dinner tonight 😂
Same girl same. lol I know what I’m making for dinner 😂😂😂
“I don’t like cayenne pepper….but this is good!”
Its over when any celebrity starts talking about their mother, shout out to all the mothers/mother figures!
Mom you got my mom back there😂😂😂😂😂
That was such a sweet bit he did with Dafne there.
Dafne really hit Danny Trejo with the Anton Ego moment 😂
8:35 You already know the tortillas are going to be fire desde que sacas las bolsas de Maseca, orgullosamente mexicana
The rewards are NOT that good this season
Agreed. Unfortunately season 21 and 22 were filmed during pandemic so they had to do “COVID-appropriate” activities.
@@YouDontWinFriendsWithSalad Ah yeah silly times when deadly sickness took vacation when you ate at restaurant went to church or simply drove a car with your family. Good times.
Well, they did I get a Vitamix.
@@KingKluska it wasnt that deadly
@jeffmeme6635did you read his comment?
Yeah Machete!
I'm a sucker for Danny 😁
@PennywiseTheDancingClown274 that's gay but none my business
Honestly, this is one of those rare instances where everyone did really well in a challenge and it came down to a close tie-breaker. No one's dish was terrible. Everyone did well.
The steak one, that needed more guac…probably the one that cost them.,
@@BigstickNick Yeah, but it was still a good dish nonetheless
@ yeah I know. It made me think of the food wishes(chef John) approach to food. There’s some things you can’t really taste when it’s there, but you can taste when it’s not there. I’m just sorta making an observation.
The shrimp taco from the red team makes my mouth water.
Can’t go against your mom’s tacos
Oh no, what did Alejandro do
Danny Trejo is such a good sport to come and rate tacos
You can't beat Hispanic cooking
one thing that really upgrade a good taco is a homemade tortilla, and you can add flavors to it as wellm we have in mexico beet tortillas, nopal tortillas, etc
She missed the opportunity. When Danny said "Hey is my mom back there?"
My brain went "Nah but I visit her a lot"
I love how they critic and give them advice at the same time to better there work
Knowing Danny's mom passed made his comment gain sooooo much heft!
Every time I see someone using a mandolin without a guard- it scares me to death. Those things bite. Hard
"Mom's cooking" well hellfire you can't beat that praise.
The movie Ratatouille knew it. The moment Anton Ego took a bite of that dish and was transported back to his MOTHERS cooking.. it was over, game, set, match.
Danny has such a great heart!!
Yes he does.
Danny was just hungry
Congrats to Dafne and the red team to win the taco challenge, for her amazing cooking. : )
If a dish reminds you of your mom’s cooking - you can’t beat that. Food is meant to be eaten with emotions. Easy as that.
We need a contemplation of Dropped Dishes being the best dish.
Most I've done with prepping sweetcorn was sloughing the corn off a cob in a KFC meal using a knife. That was already tedious enough as it is. This must be soul-rending.
I love TREJO ❤ I can’t believe he’s in his 80s………….it blows my mind. Keep it going Danny 🙏🏽
Danny, I'm gonna answer every question with my mouth full, Trejo
I dont care about meeting many celebrities, but Danny Trejo is one of them I would.
Danny is a great actor and he seems like a cool dude to boot.
I’ve never said this before aboot an actor but I think he would be one person who could benefit from a face lift lol. I know it would ruin his signature look but for me… I can’t look at his face. It’s all sunken in or something. Those “bags” under his eyes are crazy. GO TO SLEEP DANNY!!!
From prison tacos consumer to tv taco show judge 😂
This guy has such a way with words
It's always a tie, lol
I have the Trejo’s Tacos cookbook. I’ve made a bunch of his recipes, and they are absolutely delicious. I’d recommend checking the book out
Sakari is adorable
One thing i would really want to see is GR picking one of the best or worse dish in any challenges and try to improve it. tho it can be abit disrespectful but it's also inspiring to see.
now i like me a good rock fish taco, but that shrimp taco sounds bussin rn
This season’s contestants have been pretty chill (except alyssa)
The most Culinary TF2 match I've ever seen
Danny Trejo......THE GOAT SUPREME!!! Love this guy!!!
Man another challenge loss for the blue team. I bet Alex wishes he still had his punishment pass this time around.
We're still waiting on that New York times best seller "Sauce Matters"
Considering he won the season i think hes aight
Not as bad as Brett Season 18 used it too early on that lame Cowboy Shooting to "spy on rookies" only for him suffer a lot of punishments later until Ariel took a pity on him on Black Jacket Challenge
Crosby Tx! Aye shoutout to the Eastside of Houston Tx! 🤘🏼
Don’t let Alejandro wanting to go up against Dafne distract you from the fact that Scott needed one more minute on the halibut.
I’m so early that Marco Pierre White is still making Gordon cry
He didn't make him cry. Gordon chose to cry
Everybody cries. If you didnt cry when you were born in the hospital, the doctors would’ve declared you dead.
@@haru2966 that joke went over your head
If you ever ate a taco from his businesses, you would know he knows nothing about tacos 😂
😂😢 good god, that was THE toughest one for me to have to watch the tie breaker lol! Like them both 🥴🫣
💜🖤💜
I wonder at the level of their lives when a blender makes you that excited
Maybe Danny should also judge some
*BARRACUDA.*
Danny is 80 years old and looks great
Who made Danny the taco judge over Gordon? Everything he wanted, he got. 😮
That cliffhanger
Blue had the better tacos overall
"Okay please pick up your taco" - Gordon 🤨
I don’t about you but I was really curious about that Caribbean taco. Looked tasty.
Is it me or have the new episodes of HK more talented chefs?
I think it's indicative of the changing wants from HK viewers. We used to value drama more, but I think it's been shifting towards more actually good food, and their chef selection has changed accordingly.
they changed the rules at some point to stop allowing amateur/ home cooks
Bret: Makes risotto five times a week.
Alejandro: Shucks corn every harvest season.
The taco challenge Alex made mojo marinated skirt steak taco with avocado charred tomatillo cream on the bottom and dafne made Al pastor taco with chorizo ground pork
I love Danny Trejo lol
Same lol
Bubba: "You ever been on a shrimp boat?"
Forrest Gump: "No, but I've been on a real big boat"
Not following the Variety News ( at all)... I was really quite shocked- at how short Trejo was.
Came down to california vs texas tacos lol classic debate
Who here remembers the Taco Bell dog Gidget
i like it - danny every taco
I never understand why just because someone is famous. They have good palates and can judge food
Possibly the one person alive I fear more than Gordon... Geronimo!!!!! The real ones will know 😎
It's always a tie in the end. TV is always fake.
Sommer is soooo pretty! 🤩
i always rolled my eyes at manifestation stuff until my friend showed up with this crazy new energy after reading Vibrations of Manifestation. they seemed more focused, more at peace, and things just started falling into place for them-like they weren’t chasing anymore, just attracting. it’s subtle but powerful. apparently, the book is hard to find because it keeps disappearing, but if you’re curious, it’s worth the hunt
Can't fool Machete..
Yesturday i asked where is the resr.. Today i get served
Snapper or mahi …. Hmmm that was an obvious choice there.
Danny Trejo is just such a cool dude
Dafne, she maybe exited, I´m fu not.
Alejandro seems very chill and a cool dude. Not abrasive and over the top trash talker. He compliments the chefs on the other team.
What happened to Alejandro!!! 😂😂
He’s going to tell Alejandro to step up his game or something. It’s always something like that.
@@YouDontWinFriendsWithSalad makes sense... I was hoping gordan had someone waiting back there ready to batwing him... Kidding obviously
@@PennywiseTheDancingClown274 That’s usually what happens when he calls them aside. Only Nikki from season 19 was lucky enough to receive a compliment.
@@YouDontWinFriendsWithSaladAnd Trenton at Season 20 after an elimination
Anyone know why Gordon took Alejandro aside?
Not a single blood in blood out OR machete reference was made WHAT A FAIL
My salad tastes nothing like a taco 😢
hey Hell's Kitchen. I really like this awesome epic video a lot.
with Chef Remsey and my favorite The Masked Singer Idol Danny Trejo
he is the best taco food I love Taco a lot keep up the epic job Hell's Kitchen
I'm hungry now😅😅😅
Easy money for Trejo lol
Dafne: "Viva la raza Hondureña"
Trejo: (Who's Mexican) You kno what, I changed my mind.
5:08 That’s not a good thing, just my opinion
Danny trejo hates water balloons. 💧
