Thanks Jason. Yeah, you'll have to add this to your itinerary when you bring the family out west someday. We had a good time and want to go back and spend a few days there. Your channel is doing great. Best of luck to you !!
I was a kid in the late 70's living in Bisbee and used to tromp all over the mountains on both sides, and in the ditch in the middle, and in trouble...
Hey my brother ...that the infamous Honey Pot ....great place to store them Nuggets ...... we always love going to that mine ....just wish we could explore the rest of it. Good job my brother ...be safe out there and keep'em coming
Hi Allan and Jeff, Thomas Chadwick, My great grandfather worked as a gold miner at Bisbee, I wonder if they still have records there? He came back to England and died in an Iron Mine at Haverigg, Cumbria, There was no compensation because the Govt and the mine owners disputed which one he was actually working for! We still have a Pick and Pan Brooch made from the gold mined in Bisbee that (we think) only the workers got. Thanks both of you...
Haha ! I thought you'd like that Honey Pot. I'd hate to be the person who wheels it out to the dump. LOL ! Yeah, I agree. Wish we could explore more of it. Did you see that winze going down to the left ? We were short on time. We'll have to go back and spend a few days there. I'm sure there's some haunted places to visit. LOL ! Best to you, Lila and Slim.
@@freemanbynature Thanks for sharing this interesting story. You'll probably have to visit the town and seek historical at the museum or clerks office. Would be interesting to find out. Best of luck to you Prospecting !
Yeah, I thought is was interesting too. I use to lode mine with a couple friends many years ago, but never set up our blasts in that 5 star pattern in the middle. Had we done that, our shots would have been more effective. Best of luck prospecting !
Great video! Bisbee was just becoming an art community when I was there in the mid 1970s. I grew up in Tucson and new some of the guys I knew later worked in the local copper mines, or worked as mechanics on the heavy equipment. So many copper mines all around southern Arizona. We are the Copper State after all. 👍
Glad you enjoyed the video. Sure it brought back memories of so many historical places just laying beyond your backyard ! We really loved Bisbee but did have too much time to spend there. Will add on our next tour and spend a few days for sure. Hope you're doing well and keeping out of the heat. Take care my sister !
Thanks Ron. I've been too busy lately. LOL ! That video was filmed back in April, and just now had time to edit and post it. Ugh ! Glad you enjoyed the show !
Glad you enjoyed it William. Well worth the trip over there. We had a good time and look forward to spending a few days there next time. Plenty more history to see. Best of luck to you prospecting !
Well that was fun 😃✌️✅
