Mine gets stuck on preparing printer and the only way to exit that screen is turning off the printer. Then it still says to replace ink before printing. I even bought another used printer and get the same result. Please help!
On my 6700, it needs 4 times press on BACK button and the support menu comes out, then choose semi-full reset to starts the same cycle as in the video, it works!

how did you convert you oem hp catridges into a ciss?
Is there a similar fix like this for the Officejet 7612? There is no Service Menu with that printer. I can't reset the Depleted Cart error.

+Singink Support As I said in my first post. There is no SERVICE or ENGINEERING menu on the 7612. Therefore no OOBE RESET option.
No, on the 7612 is it exactly the same, I have one here.
6700 doesn't shoot the service menu by pressing the HOME button neither...
