The All-Action Almera ad based on The Sweeney dates back to around 1997. Two other versions of the advert exist: a longer one (on UA-cam but in bad quality) and a much longer one for cinemas and late night TV.
1) Mini, 2) Nissan, 3) Renault 19, 4) Rover, 5) Cystler, 6) Esso, 7) Ford Escort, 8) Ford 1st, 9) BMW & 10 ) Volvo Estates. Those adverts were shown on Irish & worldwide television too.
All of the adverts were quite interesting in one way or another and different to the ones that are being broadcast today. The style and class of yesterday have been replaced by hurry up and make a sale or else
Chrysler Voyager. As opposed to both the Plymouth Voyager and the Chrysler Town & Country minivans in the US. I'm surprised that another American car brand made its way into the UK besides Ford.
@@archiveoddball4761 no need to feel lazy mate. You're one of the ones out there actually taking time and putting together content for UA-cam. Most of us, me included, are in the 2billion+ that just sit back and enjoy it 😀
A Renault 19 16v still looks beautiful today

Those Volvo 700 series were absolutely beautiful cars in their day. Still see a few now.
Some of these are just too funny LOL

Indeed, hard to imagine someone looking back at today's adverts with fondness, I might be wrong through nostalgia is a curious beast 😆

Surely 2001 for the mini advert?
Yep you're right just a few years out on my part 😄
@@archiveoddball4761 good collection of adverts though. Love looking at these. Most of them seem like yesterday!
