- With the new expansion: Secrets of Gloomrot comes a new fully decorated Castle. Over 420 Tiles, 7 Floors, 2 Buildings, all fully decorated to perfection.
This build took about 80 hours on a survival PvE server and is located in the Gloomrot South area.

Not gonna lie, I really hope you come back to V Rising now that the 1.0 update and put the large amount of new cosmetics to the test, your talent for aesthetic builds is insane and I am here for it.
Probably going to take about 2-3 more weeks before the 1.0 castle is finished. We just started act 4 and are also planning on doing a couple of castle builds in 1.0

Not gonna lie, I forgot this game was a thing. Found it in my steam library and then got to your video from the games community section. Superb build, making me want to pick this game back up and give it another run.
well, 1.0 is out in a month with major updates. Might as well wait for that.

If the castle designs and the world was more intricate and expanded, like rounded towers and able to fly around to decorate more freely?
I'd have just created ICECROWN CITADEL, or a vampiric version of it.

Reminds me of a build I did last year, when Gloomrot was released.
Probably spent at least 2-3 months on that build. But alas, my mistake was that I built on an Official Server and therefore I had to log in very often to keep the castle from running out of blood.
After a while I decided it became a chore to just keep it, so I let it dry up and fade.
Won't do that mistake with the 1.0 release.

beautiful build, i was wonderin though, how were you able to get 7 levels? Because the max i can set is 6
we have 7 levels because the terrain level changes.

The only thing my brain screamed to me was where do you find that much space to build all that without people building around you?
This was all build in 1 buildable area on a private PvE server (location: Gloomrot South).
When it comes to the layout of the castle itself, it's a lot of trail and error until you find the best layout where everything fits together.
Map? Also insane build
awesome job where on the map did you build it? I only found one huge area at 100% build space but the shape kinda sucks in some areas so wastes a little

You can set the Floor limit in the advanced game settings under the name: castle height limit. The max is 6 but because the terrain level we have 7 with this castle.
Do different plots have different height limits? I’m at castle tier V and can’t build past 3 sadly :(

1:38 how did you make covered walkways like that? I can't get roofs to appear unless I build walls 🤔
We used the gate entrance for that.

I'm building a castle over there and I've installed the stairs once, but I don't know how to erase them again. If I try to build a staircase and remove it again, the road that connects to the ground cannot be demolished It pops up like this. What should I do? We've cleared all the windows around, and we've built other places to demolish all the arguments, but we can't demolish the roads that connect the stairs and some of the roads that connect to the ground It's coming out like this. I'm going crazy. What should I do? What's wrong with this? Please help me
To demolish a staircase you have to remove all walls, pillars, widows, second floor etc. connecting to the staircase.
The second floor always needs to be connected to the first floor (by staircases or the terrain level). This means for example if you only have 1 connection to the second floor you are going to have to destroy the whole floor starting at the end and working your way back to the staircase, then you can destroy that staircase and also remove the ground flooring connected to the staircase. To fix this, add a second connection. hope this helps.
