👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Thanks a lot , I used to take care of maintenance of a series 2 in 1978 , equipped with Cat 3406 ! Was a machine with clam shell dredging a river in Brazil, I was 24! Memories😍😍👍👍👍👍👍👍Congrats for the video 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Good stuff. Thanks PA. 5 Hour Energy and a half bag of sunflower seeds in the cab. Better not let me climb into some unit and find spit seed hulls all over the floor.
NICE! Looks like new paint. I ran 22's and a 30. nothing bigger around here and the 30 was a drop ball. NICE rig. I always got along better with manual other than air but if it was paying the light bill, I'd adjust. Thanks, Pal! BLESSINGS!
The isolated cab must be nice. @8:22, the brake peddles look like those found on an American. @10:53, the track adjustment at end of track frame looks like it is near the outer limit and wide gaps can be seen between the track pads around the pins, so she has been walked a lot. It is hard to tell the condition of the machine until you feel them while they are working. This machine does appear to be clean and straight.
Amazing video as always! Is this one at a show or is it being used for production? Surprised they made draglines this size that late - was thinking that they would have transitioned to backhoes and front shovels when given the option. Why would they prefer draglines over the others?
No this unit was actively being used at a sand operation. I think in all the years I've went to one of those hcea shows and they just aren't for me. I would imagine they was a decent market for a 5yd machine still for them to keep it in production that long
Love old mechanical excavators and cranes. ua-cam.com/video/m2VbXQ7xddI/v-deo.html - old Soviet EO-5111B crane-shovel (universal excavator - front shovel/backhoe/drag/clam/wrecking ball/pile driver/driller/crane)
That's not true, I know that NASA use metric and most likely many more. Maybe you could put the metric numbers in the video, since it's so easy to convert anyway?
She's in great shape for her age. Been taken good care of.
Even the old videos never get old
Keep em coming
Haha, there will always be new videos! Thanks!

Haha, that's awesome and you're welcome! 😁
What a nice old machine. Great to see it has been so well taken care of.

Blahahaha! 🤣🤣🤣
Love old draglines and shovels. My late father operated shovels and retired operating a 4600 Manitowoc Dragline in central Pa. Keep up the good work.
Ah yes one of the most popular dragline excavators in PA! Thank you!
That cab I never seen before. Will see you operate it! 😆
Have worked around a couple of these on barges with clams. Thanks for history of these machines.
Your welcome glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Excellent video once again PA 👍👍👍 Ruston and Bucyrus great collaboration over the pond...

Always nice to see one of your videos pop up on my screen. Thank you for all the time, effort and dedication! 👍
I've enjoyed every single one

Very clean and straight machine. Nice find Justin. Thanks for the post. Take care. Fred.
Yes it is. Your welcome 😁
Some one has certainly spent some money on this old machine it looks great 👌👍
Truth be told you would be hard pressed to find one as in good of shape as this one!!..
How about it huh!
She’s a beaut!!
Can't believe how great shape the body is and the decals, just noticed that it has a right hand drive. Catch ya on the next one
Thanks man! Yeah I would say it's a repaint but she looks darn gooood
@@PAmining absolutely

Mini drag line machines.. This a good👍
Buckeyes were awesome 👍
Can’t believe you found this tractor
It's so nice I'm wondering if it may have had a paint job at some point.
Machine after good general rebuild on specialized factory. "Kapitalno-Vosstanovitelniy Remont (KVR)" on Russian.
Nice video , looks like the drive chains drag in the dirt, that cant be good
Driver chains look litle lose to me.

I'm from Texas so..... You have the voice of an older Yankee fella. No disrespect intended. 😅
Ah why thank you! 😁
This machine is stil used? Or are the candies there from the 90's?
Do they look 90s lol? No it's still in use
@@PAmining Impressive
Who ever painted her did an amazing job it they didn’t wow she must be a low hour machine
👍🏻
beautiful video
beautiful machine
BE and RB are my old mechanic passion
😃
Can you do a documentary on Hymac excavators
I don't think I've ever come across one of those before but if I do I'll be sure to film one!
Don't think you'll see many Hy-macs over there besides they weren't exactly mining size...
@@craigsibley8161 Heaviest was like 33 tons
they will wear the pads from just rocking back and forth
I thought you didnt film cranes?
Cranes no draglines yes lol
Where's the crane????

Yes.
Unfortenetly rambling messurements in imperial doesn't help me one bit in giving me an idea of it's size, but a very fine looking machine.
No one uses metric in the US, secondly, you can easily convert lol
