I was raised Mormon. By mid-teens, I stopped attending. Up until 2019 no thought of going to church, but always kept thoughts of my Lord Jesus. I had a few angry explosions where I yelled at God (smh) & when calmed down, apologized greatly. He' my God. The last quarter of 2019 with a coworker, I started asking questions, as she was Catholic. I got curious and went to see the beautiful St John's Cathedral in Boise. And my Lord welcomed me. I was there for the architecture - or so I thought. Every time I tried to leave, something would catch my eye and I'd remain a few minutes more. Then it dawned on me as I saw people, that there was a Mass coming up, so I sat down. Jesus kept me there, to watch in complete awe the beauty of the Mass. I began crying at the Holy Sacrament, my heart breaking as the priest broke the bread and said 'Take this, all of you...' I became a Catholic Easter 2021. And now pray for my son' conversion, his children and my mother, sisters, & brother. It's been amazing. The anger I lashed out to God no longer is there. I get angry, but it's followed with His quiet touch to breathe and give Him the problem. He can handle it better than I can or ever could.
I am very much like you my friend. I was raised a JW but stopped attending at 16 as I believe a lot of young JWs do. I love the JWs and have never resented them even tho a few of my family do. I am 41 and have a meeting with my local parish priest on Monday for spiritual direction, and I will do my first confession soon after in more than 20 years. I am ready. I have my reasons. That was an AWESOME interview! Now I have another GREAT Priest in my sites to guide me on YT. LOL, one foot in hell the other on a banana peel! Fr. Dan...thank you for your journey of making the 'catholic walk' more approachable for people like me. God bless you!
After suffering an extreme panic attack/existential crisis, I turned back to the Lord and I experienced exactly the peace he talks about. It's indescribable, He gave me my life back.
I don't want to be dark, but I have a similar story. Chances are you'll get more of them eventually. Just remember God will carry you through it. Our hearts find no rest until they rest in Him.
Wow, I also had a similar experience! For me my experience of severe panic attack came as a result of having been practising New Age and “inviting” things into my life that wasn’t of the good. Praise God for carrying us through those moments of experiencing darkness pushing in on us. He allows it for a reason I’m sure - it’s for the sake of our conversion, and sometimes he has to show us “where we are” spiritually, and the places where we still need to invite Jesus in, in order to make us desire greater holiness and faith. 🙏 I will pray for your continuing faith journey! Also, reading John 14, 1-6 might be uplifting to you!

2 days ago, 28-Dec- 2022, I watched this video for the first time. Nothing 'blowing-away' or 'phenomenal' about it - which is probably the reason why it was so effective. Anyway, because of (nothing particular in) Fr.'s story, I decided to visit my local shrine to the Holy Mother after nearly two decades. Again, nothing phenomenal about my visit today - other than that I finally got myself my first scapular - but it did feel like a start; and of many things, praise God! I can understand how wrenching it must've been for Fr. to confront the environment in which the unthinkable happened to him... but it's miraculous that the unthinkable happens again when he not only fully returns to that environment but goes on to humbly serve it. (TAKE THAT you post-scandal Church-haters! Glory to our Father in Heaven!) Thank you Mother of Medjugorje for drawing me to you through this story and for the graces bestowed on me today at your shrine. I also thank the Holy Family (not least our beloved Papa Joseph, to whom I am especially devoted) in advance for all my intentions. I know You will all intervene in our lives, amen! And thank you Fr. Reehil - I loved your story and your delivery of it so much! Much love back to you ✝❤🌹

To: Fr Daniel Reehil: I loved Michael Knowles interview with you and was so happy to find this feature to listen to you again. I was raised Methodist with an occasional trip with our teenage neighbor when she slept in and wanted company to morning Mass (as her family had gone to early Mass) at Holy Cross church in our smallish town in Maine. At 30yo after several years with little thought about GOD (although I had recurring dreams of GOD asking me to stop running); I was invited to a Baptist church and recited the sinner's prayer and was saved (became a brand new person, really). The closest church to where I was living in So. Dakota was an Assembly of GOD and I've attended AG churches ever since no matter where I was living (it's a longer story, but I've lived multiple places around the US). I have always been a kind, caring and mild mannered person with the only constant in my life being my love for Jesus. My husband passed away 12yrs ago and I have to convince myself nearly every day to continue to live. I am currently in FL and feel as though my life is nothing but LOOSE ENDS at nearly 75yo, although I've got years and years ahead of me (unfortunately, GOD's not ready to take me yet). I feel LOST and the last I heard from GOD was to 'Hold On' when I was about to move into my car and become homeless. I feel as though I am not doing anyone any good including myself. (lack of $$ THRIVE)😢
I have never been to medjugorje. I hear so many people having beautiful experiences. Maybe one of these days my husband & I can go there on a pilgrimage with you, Fr. Dan!

Father, were you a lifeguard? I think we guarded together. Same high school, as well. I, too, became a priest.
Are you Todd? I remember you.
@@directorrmusa5766 yup, that’s me. Good to see you doing well. Or rather, it’s good to see you doing good.
I wish Fr. Reehil strength and courage to carry on with the Lord's work. Over the years, I have seen real evil close up.
To be Catholic is the greatest treasure, the greatest of all treasures to know. That we received the glorified body of Jesus Christ. It's an inspiration to listen to this priest.God bless him.We must pray for holy holy holy priest and for the priest that are heading against the church also
Wow what a faith Father Reehil has. I love his story 🙏
Much love back to you ✝❤🌹
What a beautiful testimony. Father Dan is so inspiring and motivational. God bless him and his ministry! May God bless all priests! ❤️🙏
What a testimony! Wow! Thanks for sharing, Fr Reehil. May God continue to bless you abundantly 🙏
Amazing, great testimony. Thank you Father Rehill.
I really love to hear this Catholic Priest tell his life story. Truly inspirational in reminding people of the spiritual dimension and goodness of God.
This story is miracle after miracle after miracle, like many other stories. Lovely.
How can we not believe?

God Almighty is always calling people for his church. Thank you father Daniel for responding to the call
I love fr Dan I emailed him because I needed prayer and he answered with his busy schedule he made time for me God bless him
Too much. No words. You became priest despite all of the scandals going around in Boston and you alone being abused. And all other aspects of your journey, precious walk with Jesus, Because of testimonies -like you are- I stay catholic. Sometimes it is hard. Thank God.
All to Jesus....
Miracle happens, most often in subtle ways at times through coincidences. How can a powerful son refuse a request from a loving mother that nurse and nurture him. It is such a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing.
I love your story. It helped me realize how much being catholic and honoring God is so important
I love Father Dan Reehil ❤
You will never know how some of your words have changed my life. I thank God for you and your vocation.✝️🤍
Wow, what an amazing testimony. His life made a full circle. God is amazing with timing.
Beautiful story, I wish my son would go back to our Catholic faith, I have been praying for him for a long time and I am scared that I would pass away without seeing him back in the church.
Have faith! Nothing is too hard for the Lord.

The Truth is the light and the life of Eternity with God ! Thank you Jesus
How refreshing, a very approachable priest.
I also went back to the church after 30 years, did the General Confession and I am a TLM parishioner. I love this beautiful Mass. So it’s a big step. As you know. I am still trying to make sure that I am where I need to be.
I was watching the interview on the Michael Knowles exorcist priest this past Friday. I was glued to it. But I enjoyed your personality , and you are interesting to watch. Life, God and all the interesting twists. How fortunate that we can participate. I wish you all the best and peace with your life.
Respect, thank you for your time and work Father Daniel, we the people appreciate it, bless you.
Hi father, I didn't know you before you were a priest but there's a very peaceful expression on your face , you can almost see that you're free of greed money anger etc

Hello 👋how are you doing?
What an amazing story. God bless you Father Daniel 🙏
God really takes us on some detours sometimes to bring us to where He wants us to be.
Beautiful ❤
Fr. Reehil has such a great blessing!
God has His plan on everyone of us!
God bless all! Pray for all! 💪🙏👌
Dear Fr Reehil, I hail from the west coast of Ireland ! My initial encounter with you was on your brilliant interview with Christine Watkins; and then just now , I came across your amazing testimony! More than any shot of high octane caffeine it truly lifted my spirits!
Even though I am a lot farther down the line than you Fr Dan, Medjugorje was the real catalyst in turning my life around. God bless you !🙏📿⚓️
May the good lord bless u father.
Oh wow! He said the same to me! He said he had a path for me and to follow him. He said it 3 times and then said to trust in him when I told him I thought I was and then led me right to the Catholic Church. I was confirmed last Easter. He still asks us to follow him when we call out honestly seeking him. Thank you for the gift of the truth Jesus. And thank you for finding me to bring me home. Thank you for opening my eyes and for your mercy.
Wow! What a journey! Thank you Father for sharing such an important life story. It is so life affirming. God definitely has a plan for us. We just need to be open to Him to see it. God bless you!
What a beautiful testimony. God truly brought is all together at the end with a bow. I pray more Priests are touched spiritually to change the hearts and minds of people to bring them closer to God 🙏🏻🙌
Thank you Fr. Daniel , it's better late than never, in our family ,im praying 🙏❤️ for the late vocation of these three members, they were altar boys before, and has a career now but I said that the better option if they don't want to have a family, pray for a vocation. Thank you Father for your example and anyone would be inspired 💓 from your testimony.God Bless and keep you for encouraging those who wanted to serve God later being a priest like you.Amen.😊
Father, D,
You have inspired me to try to come back to the faith more than any single person EVER
All the very best. I am a revert too! ❤
@@gemmag.2988 Thank you:)
God bless you Fr. Daniel.
You are an inspiration. 🙏
My great grandpa from maternal side was a spanish friar on missionary to Phil's. Met my great grandma a local girl. He quit and became a local ordinary man teaching catechism. We are rsused catholics except my late father an extreme atheist but the religion was never a problem fir my parents . Dome siblings are born again, Lutheran but the rest of us are catholic and sine went back to being catholic. We are 12 bris and sisters. When my late father had NDE. His trip to hell turned him into catholic. My late mom so saintly. Rest in peace to both of my late parents❤❤
Dan!
63 yrs old and i felt good like that
