I first saw this film when I was a child back in the early 70s when it was broadcast on PBS. I could hardly believe that Salomé was the same Ludmilla Tchérina who had portrayed Irina Boronskaya in The Red Shoes (1948) and Giulietta in The Tales of Hoffmann (1951).
I didn't see the film again until over 40 years later but I had never forgotten her compelling performance and the unusual sets and costumes. I especially liked the billowing tent in the background. The French invented the avant-garde.

A l'any 1969 jo tenia 10 anys i no teniem gaires turistes i ningu coneixia la obra de en Gaudi.

El Parque Güell fue declarado Monumento de Interés Cultural por el Estado español en 1969 y Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 1984. El diseñador del parque, Antoni Gaudí, conocido como "el arquitecto de Dios", es candidato a la santidad. Su causa se encuentra en su proceso final hacia la beatificación.
