I love that the usually very silly and whimsical Sullybobs brought such a specific and often forgotten point about astrophysics into the time machine argument, not to mention the butterfly effect.
Yeah I was very glad Sully was aware of that issue and brought it up, until then one of my thoughts that was going on was literally "I wonder if anyone will point out the issue of traveling only through time"
If his parents are there for him to kill then it can be assumed running them over won't erase his existence, or it would already be erased since they have been moved out of time before his conception... Meaning the butterfly effect won't apply.
On the contrary, location is relative. There's no particular reason for, for example, the frame of reference in which the sun is stationary to be the one in which the time machine is considered "still" in; meanwhile, the frame of reference in which the earth is considered still is the same one in which the time machine is in beforehand.
I seen Adam's list, how does that differs from most of his friends? Nah, I think his evil Twin is a right wing politician who want to censor games since they "turn kids bad". He thinks that the only joy people should have is from Jesus, not from games and other fun things.
I love how during the "everyone at this table" card they were like "it cant include you because thats not fair it makes the choice obvious" then the next round it is killing your parents the night they concieve you.
Well there is a difference. The parents aren't you. The Trolly issue is that you are standing to the Side, with a Switch, and pick which way it goes. You can't do that, if you're at the table. But you can do that, against your parents.
@Jirodyne the reason they stated it initially was because they would obviously save themselves so it's an unfair choice and then right after it is a choice to save yourself.
@@majormushu Except, as I explained, the first one, everyone at the table, isn't saving themselves. As You are off to the side, pulling a level. That is the entire point of the Trolly Problem. But this is a board game not a real trolly and I was pointing out the reasoning they used to alter what the card said not using actual logic which this game obviously doesn't care about. Also, do you want to know what eternal life would be like? Do you REALLY want to know? So, the first couple hundred years pass, and you’re having a great time! Playing games, not worrying about the idea that you will one day grow old and die, but then 5000 years later, you’ve done everything there is to do, seen everything there is to see, and you have to watch the world you love wither around you, knowing that when it collapses, if you’re lucky, you’ll die. If you’re UNLUCKY, and truly immortal, you have to spend eons swimming through space until you reach another planet, and the whole process starts all over again, and again, and again, until there are no planets left, and you float near a black hole, and are ripped apart eternally, and you feel every second of it a million times over. So yeah, not worth it! Besides, anyone who knows anything about supervillains knows that one compromised guard is easily enough for them to get out, AND most super prisons have at least a few good people in them. Also, that AI will AT BEST kill millions, enslaving the rest in some sick mockery of nature, and doesn’t have the problem of getting bored, so it will be more than okay with stripping the earth to its core, which will be used to build some sick monument on Mars, no doubt! I like how they push "granting wishes" as a stereotypical unicorn action when I genuinely cannot think of a single depiction of a unicorn ever doing that, the closest you'll get is them having medicinal properties
My main thought on that first one, was that 'eternal youth' just means they'd stay YOUNG forever. It doesn't mean there aren't other ways they could die. And everyone under 15 would be almost a whole generation gone. As well as being devastating for all those parents.

"Your parents the moment they conceived you" is actually an insane counterplay to "an actual working time machine" as the time machine can literally be used to prevent yourself from even getting the trolley on the tracks that day.
I love how they pushed a lot on "unicorn wishes", when... it's not so much a unicorn power traditionally? It's the healing power, or to use the horn to get eternal life... or am I seriously wrong?
So not wrong. also, they don't do shit for you unless you're a virgin (usually specifically a virgin of the opposite gender) and frequently kill people that try to capture them that AREN'T virgins. so... possibly more of a negative than a positive
Yeahhhh. I spent that whole round mentally screaming. Unicorns purify things, and you only need the horn for it. The actual horse part is, if anything, in the way, since the only reason to keep it alive is to make more, but it's the last one, and if you cut off the horn you don't need to ask permission to use it.
