True! Although eggs and apples are the same price in the central market, but locals say that's the expensive one. There are cheaper morning markets slightly outside of town, if I can make it there on the weekend, otherwise I have work. Can't get milk, oatmeal, peanut butter there, etc.

Right now I'm in the us but I'm leaving for Cambodia on July 8th for 2 and a half months! One of the best parts of this video for me was seeing the EXACT same places like I went to that same bakery I'm not sure about the store cause they all look pretty similar but this was a wonderful video you just got a new sub! I hope you get to at least 5k :)

A BARGAIN was the $.50 beer on Pub street and surrounding areas in Siem Reap..... That's great that you're giving people an idea what things cost for a typical stay in Cambodia.... I think your rent is a bargain, especially with that swimming pool...13 more months until retirement and off the see the world...thanks for another great video....

Thank you!! I got 8th months of health and travel insurance from World Nomads for around $540. Good for anywhere in the world. For visas.. I was told if you get a 30-day "ordinary" visa when you land instead of a 30-day tourist visa, it is easier to extend. So I did that and extended for 6th months, but I had a letter from my employer for the ordinary visa. I don't know how necessary it is, or what people can do without an employer sponsorship - sorry!
i love APPLES but why you should buy apples from US when you got very cheap LOCAL fruits , in central market (Phnom penh) i saw apples betw 5 to 8$/kg same for grappes but you can buy 5 mangoes for 1$

Yes! Alcohol is definitely the areas you see the biggest difference in price! At least coming from the U.S.

Yea! I would say accommodation like rent and hotels are one the areas you save the most
