Kent Humphries sang "Antioch Church Choir" the best of any singer.

I was there I guess in the later part of '82 til late '83. I was after this guy that's on a lot of this quit, and before Olan Witt. They called me "Punch" in the music business. I forget the guy's name that I replaced, but I actually played his drums on the road for a month or so before I got my new ones in. I wish there was some videos from that period. I'd love for my daughter to see it. Had a blast! Love Ed and all the guys.

The Dixie Melody Boys at that time Frank Sutton Was the Baritone and the bass guitar player at that time. When they had a tenor, the order was it was ( 1, the tenor. Kent. Humphrey lead. 3rd. Frank Sutton as baritone, 4th, Mr. Ed O'NEAL bass.). P.S. If by chance that any of the former Dixie Melody Boys are reading this, Eddie Price now lives in Seven Springs North Carolina. Has a son that works for The Lenior Country Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff. I know that as long as Mr. Ed O'NEAL is still able to stand on his two feet there is no doubt that Southern Gospel Music will stay the same.

Most was from TV. The first part was "in-house" recordings sold by the Jacob Brothers.

I’d say Allen O’Neal was baritone and Frank Sutton tenor.

@@ronshawver6880 Yes, but on the album "Run Little Brother"he was lead vocals & bassist.
I saw them yrs. ago on the PTL Club playing ; "He's Gonna Make A Come Back" and he was lead singer / bassist. And the song, "The King Is Here."

Dixie... Few people saw that as racist or decisive in the 80s I found the group because that logo caught a friend of mines eye and he bought me the album for A birthday gift chill and I suggest being respectful with the language if you want anyone else to care rather you are offended
