I think it was the B10, they don't want Nebraska to be dominant again. They favor OSU, Michigan and Penn State because of TV. I heard B10 tells top recruits not to go the NU, also heard that they try to mess around with their schedule. Last, I hear B10 tells the other teams of our injuries and provide them practice tapes. This is all illegal but B10 has their ways.

Never forget that Nebraska extended Scott Frost in 2021, then fired him in 2022 3 games into the new season but before his contract buyout was halved. This is a public research institution that payed money to extend a football coach after three losing seasons, then will pay a football coach to have him leave. This is part of the problem with high tuition costs at American universities today.

Did you support moose getting fired for drinking a beer on camera?
Well what had Scott done since 94.
Here’s what I’ve lived. He got hired at espn. After a couple years he didn’t show up randomly on a Saturday as he wanted another million and half to talk for a half hour on Saturday.
He went to uno somehow. Got rid of the major sports wrestling and football and replaced them with gender studies african dance. Hip hop majors and video game majors.
That has nothing to do with a school or students or athletes.
I enjoy your channel. I’m old so I know how these fellas operate or at least the last 30 years of trev after 94

@@oldironsides4107 He didn't just get rid of those sports at UNO because he wanted to. There were many factors that went into it, budget wise, and otherwise. And he didn't "replace" those sports with whatever majors you brought up. Did they maybe expand and add possible majors they never had? Sure, schools add things to offered classes all the time. Also they don't just add them for the sake of adding them. There are groups within every university that offer up suggestions based on financial feasibility and projections of participation and attractiveness to students. That is indeed beneficial to the student body, what you or I or anybody besides the students/prospective students/faculty etc. think is pretty irrelevant.

I have always been a die hard Nebraska Football fan, win or lose. Today has changed everything, Nebraska has humiliated one of their own, also the way the 4 previous coaches were fired. It's not the coach, it's the players, open your eyes. I am so disappointed in the fan base, they absolutely suck! My parents had season tickets for over 40 years. I'm so glad my Dad is not here to see how despicable this football program has become. It's shameful. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. You people are not God like you think you are. My parents had prime seats , loyal fans, autographed posters and footballs, magazines etc. With all the great players, the back to back championship players autographs, including Scott frost autographed poster when he played. And I mean every team every year. The best of the best. You should rethink this decision for we knew it was going to take time. Too much pressure on this incredibly talented man. You are greedy, power hungry losers. I could go on and on but nothing you say or do will ever bring forgiveness to you who think you are God's. I will never have a good thing to say about Nebraska football program again as long as I live. Scott you rock and they are fake. Good Luck and God Bless you and your family. MCJ. 🇺🇸 ❤️

NEBRASKA should have stayed in the BIG 12 and All this Conference realignment has just destroyed the Sport. TEXAS and OU should have stayed as well.
SC and UCLA belong in the PAC not the BIG 10, ACC or BIG 12.
To Merge conferences because these Presidents, Athletic Directors really believe they'll somehow End the reign of the 💲EC, is just rediculous.
I understand why NEBRASKA left the BIG 12, but it's apparrant it was a Mistake to do so.

Out of Frosts 31 loses at Nebraska, 22 of them were by single digits - His biggest failure was the defense - the offense was many notches above the defense - in the Northwestern game, Nebraska was UP by double digits TWICE ; 14-3 in the 2nd quarter and then 28-17 in the 3rd - every time the defense easily gave the lead away and it just puts too much pressure on the offense. Versus Georgia Southern, the defense was so atrocious from the start that the offense had a hard time grabbing the lead - since when is scoring 42 points not enough? Nebraska finally did grab the lead 42-38 with just a minute or two left - and that's all the defense needed to give it up. Sad really, Football is a game of literal inches - just a few of them and Nebraska is 3-0 and Frost is still coach...sad

It's 3 weeks later and I'm watching this wondering what's really going on. Money runs the world. Money builds facilities. Money pays NIL. Money pays for and Athletic department. Money pays for coaches. Money pays for the University. Money pays the bills. Period. How much is Nebraska willing to invest in a Football program. Everything comes at a price. Business is built on a budget as anything else should be to stabilize and maximize profitablity. At the end of the day you get what you pay for Trev. Nicey, nicey talk but let's be honest, there is a bottom line here.

I won't say anything about Scott Frost because what needs said so many have already done so.
I want to post about Trev Alberts.
We are so lucky we have Trev as our A.D. at such a critical crossroads. I feel way down deep that Trev being a Husker and BLACKSHIRT, I'm sure we can agree there is no doubt he has our best interest at heart. I have complete faith that he will find what will be the most important hire of his life by finding the exact right person for our head coach no matter who it is. He said when asked about his 3 qualities he wants is what was #1....... Character.....he wants the type coach that he had at Nebraska. (Tom Osborne & Charlie McBride).
He will find the exact best fit to rally the entire fan base behind, he will find a coach who can be trusted, who can develop young men into great people and football players. He knows Nebraska is a very unique place and that being in such a unique situation, there is a blue print for what has been proven to work at Nebraska...a Football Team that represents the values and work ethic of the people of the state. Hard Working, Honest, Tough Nosed strong willed people. Nebraska was special because we ran the ball in a fast changing world of Pro and West Coast Offense schools that placed players in the NFL ....well the NFL is changing too ...where the most in demand QB is now a true Dual Threat type instead of a non mobil stand in the pocket throw the ball all over the place QB.
We were special because we didn't do what everybody else was doing....that's what got us to one of the most dominant eras to ever exist in College Football. We must be a Run based, Ball Control, Clock Control team that has a top 5 defense every year, we love our BLACKSHIRTS and are very proud of them.....but to be true BLACKSHIRTS or True Nebraska Pipeline offensive line, that can roll over opposing Defenses takes very specific coaches and coaching.....we need coaches who understand those traditions and embrace the"I" formation complete with Fullbacks, the Osborne Triple Option, the McBride 4-3 attacking defense ....that is what Nebraska was and what made us Special we need that again and I think Trev knows that most of all. Now all he has to do is find the right guys to do it.
There is ABSOLUTELY no reason this can not be done and work again....We have tried since Frank Solich, Bill Callahan (WCO), Bo Pelini (Pro Spread Offense), Mike Riley (WCO), and Scott Frost (Hybrid Oregon Duck No huddle /WCO offense and now Coach Whipple's WCO/Pro style Offense....and the only one of these Coaches who had any real success was Pelini because he hired Spread Offensive Coordinators that would run the ball that were moderately successful and his Defense also had moderate success but his personality was so caustic he just wasn't cut out to be a Head Coach period as the evidence has bore out. So I don't wanna hear anymore about how the Type Of Football we should be is this modern NFL crap......we just need to be who we REALLY ARE and the rest will take care of itself.
Sorry I didn't intend to write a novel but to get my point across in a way all could maybe see what I see and hear from the Money Men who pay the Bills.

People are acting like other schools have never gone through absolutely disastrous times, and turned things around. It's part of sports, folks. Bama, Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio State, and many, many more have been in the same types of situations, and look at them now. We will be back. Anybody that has no hope about that, I feel sorry for you.
