It is said that when Patton heard about the "NUTS" reply he said that: Such an eloquent man must be saved - attack harder.
The credit music is Dead Man"s Waltz.
I've heard that some teachers use Sabaton in class to get students interested.
Band of Brothers was an influence on this song according to Joakim.

"Thank God for the 101st Airborne Division!" Never forget what those brave men did 80 years ago!

Great review as always and thumbs up👍 Not sure if you know but Hannes the drumner from Sabaton is married to Floor so the band has a link to nightwish

This is an amazing song, it was the first line up of Sabaton, they fell apart in 2012 with Joakim and Par as only remaining members

Aye, didn't one of the former guitar players get jailed for being a pedo or something to that effect? Can mind reading a year or so ago.

    Great reaction, and great song!
Sabaton always write meaningful lyrics from historical events all over the world.
I especially like the Sabaton song "7 Pillars of Wisdom" who tells the story of the British Army Colonel T. E. Lawrence ("Lawrence of Arabia"), who served as a military advisor to Bedouin forces during the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire of 1916 to 1918.
Can you please check that out the next time you do Sabaton?
But there is so many great songs from this band, that makes it difficult to point one out being better than the others.
    My favorites are:
    -7 Pillars of Wisdom.
    -Coat of Arms
    -Nightwitches
    -Uprising
    -The Last Stand
    -Soldier of Heaven
    -Christmas Truce
    -Lion from the North
    -No Bullets Fly
    -82nd All The Way

Fun reaction, these guys have a deep collection of tunes from the different incarnations of the band. Have fun exploring the catalog.

thanks again! always fun watching you two, reminds me of my own parents, when they accidentaly like a song thats out of their normal comfort zone (70s 80s Classic Rock) and demand for more ;)

just and FYI- the fighting durning the Battle of the Bulge was real rough for example - The 551st PIB (1 of the many independent Airdorne units of the U.S.) attached too the 82nd Airborne attacked the village of Rochelinval, Belgium (7th Jan) the last 250 Troopers attacked the town defended by a Regiment (500+) with 88mm flak Guns & 105mm Howitzers. A co alone was basically wiped out only 7 men were standing at the end of the attack. they went into the Bulge with 643 Troopers on Jan 3rd by Jan 9th they had 14 officers and 96 Troopers. they took 85% casualties in the Bulge 1 of the highest out of all the Airborne units during the fighting in the Bulge for U.S. units

Great Job! I know I’ve suggested these two Story animated videos of Night Witches or No Bullets Fly ( my personal favorite) they are a combination of Sabaton History Channel and music video. Sorry I can’t give you the links as I’m a old Metal/rock Neanderthal and can barely type in the comments! Sabaton features a lot of their songs on Sabaton History I think you would get more out of the videos and songs if you would do Sabaton History Channel of a suggested song then do the official video then a live performance! The impact is amazing! But this is just a suggestion it’s your journey God Bless Stay Safe Rock On and as always give a pat and treat to the pups for me ! 🙏👍🐶🦴🤘🤘🤘🤘

omg funny you brought up Band of Brothers i was in E/506th living history unit so i met all the Vets. Maj. Winters ect.. Babe & Wild Bill were my drinking buddies. we were talking 1 time about how they dug their holes and Bill said they would fire a few rounds into the ground then stick a grenade in it and blow it to get a hole started . we also had Jake Agenew there who made the only combat jump in the bulge with the pathfinders and they set up the resupply drop deff read the book "The Filthy Thriteen" as this unit was used to inspire the movie "The Dirty Dozen"

I love this so much!! Thank you for sharing, I watched the Dirty Dozen as a kid and was hooked on WW2 history. Then as an adult watched Band of Brothers which showed even more of the hell these guys went through. Sad, but so inspiring these days when its hard to find this kind of spirit among our youths, including my own. I hope Im wrong but my feeling is we would never see this kind of reaction were this type of assault were to happen again. Maybe, but I doubt it. Thanks again dogface,

Hi guys, I like your reactions, you should try 82 from Sabaton. A great song. There is actually a band called Amaranth who did a cover of the song. Would like to hear your opinion which one is better.😀 By the way Amaranth is great. Their singer nearly joined nightwish. If you want to try something new check out Ad infinitum with marching on Versailles. Have a great day and keep doing reactions 👍
