Do the same exercises apply for thoracic retrotheseosis. This is a result of a lumbar fusion. I can feel the spinae process due to the retrotheseosis and it feels like bone is coming through my back making it difficult to sit or drive. Causes severe sciatica down both sides. Also have developed kyphosis due to lumbar fusion which causes pain in ribs. I exercise every day but it seems like it always makes it worse.
My husband has been getting numbness and tingling sensation down his arms. The doctor did an MRI and showed Trace retrolisthesis and Mild cervical spondylosis at C5-C6. He has no pain just the numbness. Can this cause numbness and tingling?

There is a retrolisthesis of L1 on L2, L2 on L3, L3 on L4 and L4 on L5.” Female - Age 74, who loves to garden. Pain is chronic, except when sleeping (back sleeper). Unable to stand straight (hunched over) due to L1 and T11 chronic compression deformities. Currently doing knee to chest exercise. Is it OK to do “cat cow?” Before I started gardening I could easily bend over and touch my toes and plant vegetable seeds. Now, I can only squat, keeping my back straight, to pick things up from the floor. Extremely fatigued and back feels wobbly and unstable. Are there any other exercises I should try? Looking forward to hearing from you. God bless you and your work!

You can, build up gradually 👍
@@bobthephysio so I have l5 s1 and a herniation in l4 :(
I like your video but you are showing on title an arch which we should not do and showing anterior spondylitis instead of retrolisthes.
If in addition to retrolisthesis of L1on L2 and L2on L3 one also has forward slipage of other vertebrae are these same exercises helpful, what are the contraindications?
If it’s in lumbar spine it’s safe to follow this routine 👍
Hello, is cycling safe in case of retrolisthesis of L5? cardio purposes since jogging really triggers the back pain at some point of trening
You can do bike or cross trainer 👍💪

We are not trying to revert it, we are trying to manage it and that would help you to do daily activities & gym activities pain free. Best would be to get a customised plan. Bob
My brother, I am from Iraq and I respect you very much. I have a slippage in the fifth paragraph. Can you help me?

Thanks for sharing the video. I have Light Disc Degeneration in L5-S1 and retrolisthesis of 2mm. I have chronic low back pain for 10 months now. I feel the pain as soon as I sit down on any chair. Walking, standing, jumping and sleeping all feel good. Could this be from retrolisthesis or the DDD ? thanks :)
I can’t really answer your questions 😀 pain is an experience which is many factors that aggravate it !! There is not always a mechanical cause that you feel pain !! Other factors that cause pain, like sleep, daily activities, social life, your believes, and many other factors !! My question is what do you do daily to relieve you pain and what rehab exercises you are doing !? Bob

What should I do if my pain is really bad?
Are you taking any pain Killer ? if not you need to take them for short term until the symptoms calm down. 2nd steps, are you doing any rehab ? if not you have to follow a plan that suits your injury and keep you active. Complete rest is not gonna help.
Sir I hv grade 1 retrolethesis can I play cricket I'm 38yr old
Are you doing any exercises at the moment? Bob
My mri represent l4 l5 ddd without compressing nerve root.
What this means?
It means that your disc bulge does not compress the nerve root!! If you are experiencing pain, the source of pain Is muscular 👍💪 are you doing any exercises at the moment? Bob

@@bobthephysio restrolisthesis without compressing nerve root
Hello Bob! Recently I was diagnosed with retrolisthesis L4 5mm(x-ray). The presumed cause of the formation is an injury from a fall. Pain syndrome is not strong. I have been doing the horizontal bar for 10 years. Can I continue training with this disease? Dosed pulled-ups relieves the pain in this area of the back a little.
Upd. Are the exercises in this video suitable for correcting my case?
You can 👍💪 start light and gradually build up. Avoid activities that bothers you 💪👍
May i share my mri with u?
Please leave me a comment and I'll be happy to help. Bob
Thank you man for this video, just diagnosed with slight retrolisthesis, is it true that I can never play basketball ever again?
I can’t really say you can or not !!
Hi I have had a l45 disc replacement 3 years ago. Currently I have a disc 3to 4 mm disc bulge at l34 with retrolithesis. I also have a spinal curvature that goes to the left at l 3 4.
Are these exercises safe for me?
You can try these exercises daily and if you fid any of them aggravating your pain avoid them initially and try the rest 👍
